Naa, we're working to get everything in the German tree dropped to reserve tier. That way we can enjoy the rest of the ranks whilst the German players complain that the reserves are OP and keep killing their leopard 2's.
I did not mind the post commentary. In fact I think it should be easier for you to explain your strategy by using post commentary, which would be something positive. (I barely play tanks, so I like it when people explain what they are doing)
All fun and gigles aside... Your intro with the ME262 showed why most aviation switched from machine guns, even .50BMG to 20mm or bigger. You need that explosion on impact/inside the other plane or shrapnel. It makes all the difference. Love your vids...
I mean they do, but certainly not in the vehicle department lol their "suffering" comes from less than intelligent players who usually rush headfirst into the enemy thinking they're invincible. But in terms of actual vehicles, germany has some of, if not the, best vehicles across most brs
@@destroyerarmor2846 that may be true, but more often than not the german teams in war thunder rush just rush in and die. True blitzkrieg was about breaking through the enemy's forward line and encircling them before they could react. I think most german players in WT are missing a couple steps in that strategy lol
I just love matches like the last one and I dont think you give yourself enough credit. Look how many enemies you took out on that hill and your plane. Btw I think you guys owe that guy with the wirbelwind a lot of thanks for helping take out a lot of planes at the end. You fellas all did great and what a pleasure it was to watch. Speaking of, I've had the same reload bug if I lose my gunner but not my breach or loader. That one is the one that confused me; the loader and breach are fine, keep loading while I get a gunner back
idk how to feel about this tank, it has some upgrades mainly the smokes and rangefinder. but it also has weaker hull armor at a constant 110mm which many people seem to overlook. I think it's in a good spot where it is considering the stabilized brits it has to face.
I can confirm that the heat shell changes this tank. It's sort of good at all the things but not great at any of them... It is however (in my opinion) super nasty for medium range standoffs.. like at 300m to 500m its so easy to engage a huge number of enemies with a bit of cover. If its reload was just a hair faster it would be my favorite german tank...

M48A2 C is such a lovely tank, many a found memories from back when I was grinding through it. one of those I now and then wanna go back and play, but often find my self too busy grinding other stuff. as for its BR, yeah it should probably be 7.3 this coming from a guy that could be considered a german main. (maggie map comment edit, yeah your location is not a bad call, but there is a danger to get sniped from the enemy force who went sniper up at the hill over looking C) (japan comment edit, even though I know you have a certain negative bias against people who play germany alot, I implore you to stop, like I always try to team-work, there are dummies in all nations.) also MO´POWA BABY!

I bought this yesterday as it just turned to 8.0....I am relatively new to the game and it's pretty frustrating to play this tank. Seeing you utilize it definitely gave me some pointers. Thank you!
Day 36: Forget the italian 8.0 lineup, do the 3.3 one instead! The P40, M42, both M43s (one goes boom and one goes boing) and whichever plane you prefer. German bias exists

very noice post game commentary Odd! I think we benefit a lot from this type of content because you are not "under pressure" when doing the commentary afterwards and thus able to share important tactics and thoughts throughout the battle. Aight dont get me wrong please, your normal content is still overpowered fun but I think doing this kind of content ocasionally helps us lads to learn the game
It is possible to hull break the Ratel's however, I hull broke one with an HVAR that was an engine shot so maybe its not super common for HEATFS to hull break them.
The falcon thing is legit. I have been taking it into my British 8.3 and seriously I usually get more kills with it than with any of my tanks. Not to mention that it fires so fast that you can still do well against jets even without radar.

I wouldn't do it for every video. But a post commentary video every now and then would be cool. You seem to go in better detail on your thoughts and strategy
This thing is the most op vehicle in the game IMO - better than the centurion mk10 in every way except the stabiliser AT 7.0, without the stupidly high repair costs

I feel like it's odd that I use spacebar for my free look... It means I can still use all my control keys as i use my thumb to free look. Using C for me meant I couldn't use the D key in air or ground battles

You mentioned the bomb almost flipping you. I had my German M41 do a double-backflip tonight. Large bomb landed on the other side of a Tiger 2 that I was helping to repair and he took the shrapnel for me. With the hill going downhill behind me, the blast flipped me twice and i landed on my now yellow tracks, otherwise perfectly okay.
Yanno the after-action commentary can be just as good. It's less emotionally exciting, but it's more analytical and gives us more insight into how to play the game as effectively as possible. Not that you don't try to do that with in-game commentary, but understandably you're kind of distracted while doing the latter. ;p
I always do the same thing on maginot, when it works, it really works. I still donät get why people don't like maginot given it has areas for literally any gameplaystyle you prefer.
Maginot is one of my favourite maps above br 6.0. As you say it's got something for everyone. It really sucks at low br though, just takes too long to get anywhere.

It's gonna bug me if I don't say it, but it is not a laser rangefinder. It is a stereoscopic rangefinder like the one on the Panther F (Schmalturm boi).

I really liked the post commentary gameplay Odd. Not sure if you've thought of doing this but I'd hate to ask because it seems like it would be more work for you to do to put a video out.
I honestly thought the fact that you can’t load when your breech is out was intended. That would make sens, and separate canon out and breach damage : - if canon barrel is out, you can still load - if breach is out, then you can’t reload. That would be interesting, though quite frustrating
