I checked out this stuff just now it looks great, seems great, but unfortunately it’s so far out of my budget I cannot do it, I’d love to try even a sample but my medical bills are killing me. I was recently diagnosed with Vertigo, and it’s robbed me of so many work hours my budget is suffering huge from it. But I will say this was the most tempting product to ever catch my interest. I’m sorry I couldn’t help ya out Ryu. 😢
Great! I'm travelling back in time back to when I first subscribed to get the 25%! 🤎🤎 Oh wait... It was in 2020, sorry guys we need to do the pandemic again
For those wondering. He isn't playing on Pretendo network. He recorded a bunch of these before the game closed down. He said this on a live stream. How many he did? He didn't say. Let's just be thankful that, we can still see these for a while.
30:00 - It's funny, a couple weeks ago I was watching some episodes of "Ed" (a terrific, underrated show that aired from 2000-2004) with my brother. And in one of them, there was a psychologist who was on trial after running a scam that took advantage of predictable human nature. While explaining to his attorney (Ed) how he was able to do so, he said: "Pick a number from 1 to 4. Got it?" "Yeah." "Three." "How'd you know?" ... 'Everybody picks that number - well, most people pick that number.' After watching this dialogue, I had my brother pause it, and I proceeded to tell him how incredibly true that was, given my experience with playing/watching Mario Maker; that it's become an all-too-true joke that you should always pick 3; that it seems to be correct like 80% or 90% of the time. Funny.
The guy who founded Soylent was a colleague of mine at Georgia Tech. Seemed cool. Never saw him express any overt emotion. You know the type. By his reckoning, he founded Soylent because he lived on the West Coast and needed to save money on groceries to pay rent, so he did research and lived on nutrient-y oatmeal-y stuff he concocted for a month or two. Being in an entrepreneurial environment, of course, it wasn't long before he was like, "Hey." I only tried the original Soylent--the unflavored kind. Seemed ok. Now that it's got flavors, I might try it again.
I can't wait to see new 100 man runs on the new servers! Yes... It's making a comeback based off of a community project to save the system.... Keep your eye out for something called Pretendo! 😊
12:33 I can see that being useful for levels like these, where you can't go 2 seconds without dying. However I think being able to see the creator's "ghost" completing the level would take a lot of the fun out of Mario Maker. Part of the fun is figuring things out on your own! Puzzle levels in particular would completely lose their mystery.
@@mastersimmons9001This, that way it’s a win win. Proper kaizo level etiquette would be to include the ghost, while anyone making a puzzle or troll level would simply turn off their ghost
Except it would ruin puzzle levels. If they gave the creator the option to turn on/off the Ninji Ghost, that could possibly work, but then no one may ever turn them on. Or you would have to beat the level to watch the creator's run, but that kind of defeats the purpose Ryu wants it for.
I'm in Naples visiting places amongst the most beautiful in the world ... _there's a new Ryu video I need to watch later_ ... I'm about to get to a museum ... _keep focus on the art, stop thinking about this Ryu video_ ... and I'm so looking forward to the opera tonight ... _no, you're only looking forward to coming back to your hotel and watching Ryu_ ... Yes I will.
Dear Ryukahr, It is levels like the shells one that make you such a consistently pro player. For years I have watched you and enjoyed your content, through just finding out about you (he seems like the only streamer who doesn't shout the speakers out [looking at you, early CarlSagan42], and actually some skill, staying power with a difficult level (looking at you DGR) and has a natural talent the others don't possess/exhibit (your musical gifts). So it's wondrous to be here with you as MM2 came out, and then again as MM1 was announced it was getting the chop, etc. You have only ever gone UP in your talents, which I approve of immensely. I've thoroughly enjoyed following your story in particular, and can't wait until Nintendo announces MM3:Wonder and Mario Kart 9 for the Next Nintendo, whatever it is. But seriously, you inspired me to buy MM1 and MM2, build you one level and then sell the lot, because I'm never gonna actually play the game, and yet I've been allowed along for the entire meta/troll of the whole game, so thank you very much for that. Love, me.
12:34 - That sounds like the perfect addition to Super Mario Maker 3. We all know by now that trolls exist in the game. This could relieve people of all that stress.
28:22 Just go back and grab another P switch, there's a bunch you didn't trample on. i have no idea why there's a ?box with a bob in it cause you could had just done the same for that wall of blocks. Nothing is stopping you from going back for a P switch.
Another early access run. Thanks Ryu! It's a shame SMM1 is down. I loved to play this game & did my first, second and third mid-air just 4 months ago 🎉
An angel, ...? More like a deamon. What angel would give us viewers the joy of watching our favorite streamer getting owned by super expert. #show em up Ryu
29:17 what was that? I had to play it in slow motion. I have never seen that wonky animation before of mario putting on a helmet at the same time as getting stunned by a ground pound
I think Ryu can use pre-recorded Princess Peach ending screens for SMM2 endless, every completed 6 levels can be a final for the videos. I don't know man,I am trying to find a solution for SMM2.
Most Japan creators look at level creation like "Player VS creator". They don't want you to have fun, thats not even a thought. Must be a cultural thing, because it's not even debatable that a disproportionate amount of Japanese levels are what we'd consider "bad".
@Ryuhei64 dude I've been playing the game for 8 years and have played thousands upon thousands upon thousandths of levels at all difficulties. This holds true across the board. Do you even play this game?
@@salvatorecorleone1008I'm pretty sure that's what makes it a great product name. Nobody with any intelligence will actually think it's made of people, and it gets people talking and remembering it.
You're looking mighty good Ryu, and you have been looking obviously more amazing for quite some time now, and it took me a while to figure out why. I thought it might be the beard, and it looks great, way better than no beard - I'm glad it's back. You have an amazing beard and you look great with it. But that wasn't it. So I thought maybe you have better lighting or make-up on, but in the sponsor parts you look pale in comparison and still great, and in close-ups it's very visible you're not wearing make-up, so that's not it either. And then I noticed it! You're happier and it seems persistent! What happened? Baby on the way? Baby already out? New house?
