I love the rock pigeon design!! Another rock-type idea is a little canary pokemon that has a miner's helmet made of rocks and soot in its feathers. It evolves into a poison-type if it faints from a poison status condition, based on the canaries coal miners would bring down to detect gas leaks!
You can actually find Wattrel almost immediately. Simply go back to the beach where you first faced Nemona. They can appear rarely just off the coast, but they will fly close enough to be caught
I really like Gaukatrice, but whenever I think of a dragon type bird pokemon, my mind instantly goes to the Cassowary. They're so dragon and lizard like. Is that just me?
If there ever was a cassowary pokemon, they might make dark a prevo type, since I can see Gamefreak making lore like its recklessness as a dark prevo makes it a dragon evo
I made a Grass/Fighting cassowary starter. Well, it's actually the middle evolution, the first being a kiwi kiwi and the final evo being a Grass/Fighting emu.
So, I just had the idea of a "Bear Pokemon of Every type" video. There are several Bear Pokemon with two stage evolutions (before Ursaluna), consisting of a smol cub and a larger bear forms covering different types, it'd be a fun concept to explore.
I'm so glad that there are youtubers like Brandon because they help me get through really tough times and give me the ideas to create my own Pokémon. Your content is amazing and I thank you for that - I'm sure that there are also loads of others who agree with me. You are awesome and I hope you stay that way! :)
I like this, though I'd personally reverse it. Make it a fire/flying bluejay, because jays are sassy, scrappy, hot-headed little brat-birds, and blue fire is typically hotter than red, while the _cardinal_ would be ice/flying, because cardinals are so frequently used in winter imagery like Christmas cards and decor. It'd be hilarious to see something like that, just because it's totally unexpected and would throw so many pokemon stereotypes out the window.
Another good idea for a poison-type regional bird could be a small chicken that evolves into a bin chicken (aka an ibis) with a sash similar to Bombirdier where it collects trash Also if sound-type ever becomes a thing I think the only option is a kookaburra crossed with a jester cause those buggers laughing is loud as lol
I still can't believe Braviary, the pokemon with AMERICAN coloured feathers, is not a fighting type. Fighting types usually mean "heroic" so Braviary being a Fighting Flying type would sorta make sense, right?
Early bird to an early bird video on early birds inspired by early birds given early-bird evolutions for early bids to watch if they are early birds enough to watch the early bird video
The anime is different than the games, I'm fairly certain it takes place in a different universe/timeline than the games. This video solely goes off the games I believe, so unless it says it in the pokedex it won't be counted. Also pretty sure Delibird isn't and early route bird.
Coincidentally, I also had an idea for a Grass type turkey Pokemon for my own fanmade region. Though mine has moreso of a fall harvest theme going on as its feathers also resemble autumn leaves. I thought it would be a fitting design basis as turkeys are very synonymous with autumn due to them being served at Thanksgiving. And it's even more thematically fitting as my region is based on New England, which not only is known for its stunning autumn foliage in the fall, but also because the first Thanksgiving was celebrated here all the way back in 1621.
I made two regional birds for my region. A dark type based on the common mynar found around singapore. And fighting one based on the javan hornbill. (Correction the hornbill was fire.)
First i thought that you would be doing a bee hummingbird inspiration for the bug flying. But still enjoyed it being a reference to HAWKMOTH(who has literally changed his name 2 times namely:- Shadow Moth and Monarch)
OMG, I love Pitifowl/Pomplume's wing-pattern; looks like a wittle smiley face. Shame Regaliant kinda loses it. 8:59 Dude, you just shot yourself on the foot, y'know?
i love cackuy id love for it to become a real thing, id always have it on my team, its just so darn cute even tho it look like it'll eat gengars nightmares for breakfast, lunch an dinner
The idea for my tropics (vaguely American) inspired region Endra is a flying/psychic pokemon based on the turquoise crested motmot, various parrot species and clocks, pendulums and metronomes. The turquoise crested motmot has a tail feather loosely connected to its body dangling below its tail. And so I thought about a little turquoise bird waving it's long tail about to the beat of a metronome. Because of this I thought about a social aspect and the psychic type to link to time, that's where parrots come in. Parrots are both incredibly intelligent and long lived, so they fit right in. Turquill is a pure flying type little round white, black and turquoise birb that sways its tail and makes various clicking noises to simple rhythms in large arborial groups. Clockuoise gains the psychic type and a want for more complex rhythms to show off, gaining more black in its design it acts like all those teenage drummers who think they can tackle any rhythm shown to them (yet screw every other thing up) (I'd know I was one of them) Metronazure has settled, letting colour back into the forefront, it has made peace with maybe not being the best rhythmist in the world, instead whistling and clicking perhaps simple patterns, but in groups, doing it well
I saw the Pootoo Pokemon on the thumbnail and it's exactly what I'd expect : a somewhat cute (upclose) and scary (from afar) looking Pokemon. Well done Also IDK if it was made on purpose or not but I dig how Pitifowl's line seems to have a smiling face on their wings made out of their feather pattern. Fitting for the ego Pokemon imo
as a person who is fascinated by birds and their ancestors this video shall now be in my bookmarks and please think about selling them all as plushies i would buy them if they were £50
Yeeeeeeesss!!! Finale represented on this channel!😆🥳🥳🎉✌🇧🇷 It's so good finale seen a Brazilian inspired pok on your channel man! It's really good, but now focusing... *arrgghh*, well, this little dude you called "Ghost bird" it's mostly called here was an "Urutau", and it's is my favorite Brazilian bird btw. And i loved your pun with Hawk Moth, i've thinking about doing a pokemon based on him myself actually, and now i know about the Holming bird HAWK MOTH, it's gone better then ever!
I'm actually watching this on Opera GX and i must say it is a fabulous browser. My favorite one. It has a built in ad block and it it great. Also, GO TEAM SKY!!!!!
0:29 How about Kilowattrel & Pelipper 8:21 When Rock & Flying are together, Fighting is neutral 8:59 But only four of them are Flying types 13:54 Altaria: Hold my Altarianite
It would be interesting a relationship between Chickatrice and Pomplume, with this thing of low/high self steem regarding their feathers, and specially taking into consideration the type relationship of dragon/fairy. 😊 Wonderful designs and descriptions of Pokemon 🥰
For Dragon you could've made a bird based on the Quetzals, which is a group of very colourful birds from north and central America, which eventually evolves into something based on Quetzalcoatl the feathered serpent of Aztec mythology. You could even have a middle stage still be based on a cockatrice as it would be halfway between a bird and a serpent. Bonus points if you can manage to fit some kind of relation to the Quetzalcoatlus, the largest known pterosaur, in there too.
Waaaa as soon as you brought up the cooper's hawk I got emotional, now I'm just remembering when we had one chilling in a box in our laundry room last year cuz they got hurt and we were taking them to a raptor sanctuary in the morning. I loved hearing updates about Coopy from 'em while they were there, they did so good recovering and I couldn't be happier. Last I heard they were able to safely release Coopy back into the wild, hope they have a good life ;w; (and no, we didn't try to make the "Coopy" name stick because wild bird = don't name 'em, that was just my shorthand for talking about them with the 'rents)
its so funny that fakemon look this good and original but pokemon company is making goofy ass mons like the mons in the new region. i hate the new region so much
Thats true, HOWEVER he said early ROUTE, since he did explain about Watrel location, but the reason he didnt include it is because he only focus on existing early ROUTE regional bird Pokemon.
I love your "Pokemon of Every Type" series that I needed a fruit-based pokemon of every type. Probably I could see Cherubi and Cherrim of every type, where Cherubi is based on different fruits and/or pokemon berries used in battle and Cherrim being based on certain fruit flowers such as the elderberries for the poison type. Or maybe a lemon for electric type. Perhaps an avocado for the stone type (because of stone fruits). The possibilities are endless. It would be awesome if you make a video dedicated to the Cherubi line.
This is a subject I have wanted for so long because I ❤ Regional Bird Pokémon, They are what I would have as my team if I were a Flying type gym leader. Thanks, PragMagik
