The HorsePower guys try out a new concept in nitrous oxide, using a 2005 Mustang. Plus, a money-saving tech tip -creating your own engine cradle for your home shop.
The style of the previous 4th gen stangs sucks and their engines suck.......and the 5th gen mustangs are in my opinion, the best generation of mustangs....PERIOD!
6:40 or, instead of a test light, why don't you use a Voltage Reader? Like, really? A test light? That's simply to find problems, NOT run new wire 🤦♂️🙃
I mean you can get 450hp off just a supercharger, fuel pump(takes 10min) and injectors.. and with 4.10s/3.73s you'll wipe the floor with most domestic vehicles pre-2015. And they're reliable at those numbers, the bottom end is good to 500, is say 550ish with a new set of bearings on install and a billet timing chain tensioner/guide you can consider a complete rebuild/swap. Way easier to bolt on a supercharger than rip out the whole motor/trans and get an ecu dialed in.
I have a 2005 Saleen S281 SC supercharged legend lime 5 speed coupe. 61,000 miles, only owner since dealer at 3000 miles. 478 dyno rwhp. Message on IG if you'd like to buy one.
@@Jim_Lawrence I wouldn’t put an LS in a mustang just as much as I wouldn’t put a Coyote into a Challenger. Don’t put the V8 of an American car into an American car from a different brand. Suppose you want to give a foreign car an American V8? Go crazy. Use an LS, Coyote, Hemi, whatever you want. Just don’t put a Hemi or LS into a Ford because they already have good V8s.
@@commonmockery1074 personally I see it as hot rodding, and exercising your rights. We still have those right? Anyways, I will say I wouldn't do it, and it puts a bad taste in my mouth when I see it done. That being said, I think it would be funny to put a BBF in a Viper, and a Coyote in a 'Vette.
@@Jim_Lawrence I mean, I was primarily joking. And I’ve personally always wanted to make a Cobra or a Cobra Daytona kit with a Viper engine. Butt realistically, you can do whatever you want.
