I never feel dirty or awkward celebrating goals for my country, fam. I don't care if they play for my club's rivals. They're not Spurs players when they put on an England shirt - They're England players. Doesn't matter if a player representing your country plays for your local rivals, as soon as they put on that national shirt you put damned allegiances aside temporarily to the side and back your country
Idea: Worst former manager your club has to thank (Ex: David Moyes/LVG for discovering Marcus Rashford) And I guess this is the end of u coz ighalo scores in the FA cup
@@mitchellgeorge6031 that was David Dean Rioch could of never got a player like Bergkamp. The man wanted to replace Ian Wright with the striker he had at Bolton🤦🏾♂️
Dude it doesn’t matter what your club is when you support your nation. That’s why there are club and national sides in the first place. I really don’t care if Jordan Henderson scores a last minute winner in the World Cup final, I’m. Still gonna celebrate.
Arsenal fan here - I'm still going to celebrate if Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Winks or Danny Rose scored a last minute winner in a World Cup final, when you support your nation, you forget about what clubs they are playing for, that's the whole point of international matches, everybody in your nation is supporting the same team. Just seems childish not to celebrate because a player who scored in a major tournament plays for one of your rival clubs.
As an arsenal fan I cheered Kane and Dele Alli with pride... their playing for the country not the enemy. I also prefer if the opponent scores, let it be an arsenal player lol
Yeah that's me don't know why I just honestly don't care enough compared to even a Liverpool friendly. I usually just watch international tournaments as a football fan. Just hoping the Liverpool players do well in every team.
I don't even celebrate when Lingard score for United, my team. But then again, he hasn't scored for 2 years. And is somehow still at the club. Definition of stealing a living.
United reputation for bringing through the youth is great and I'm proud of that but... keeping players on the books way beyond what they deserve? That needs to change. Lingard's cares more about his image on insta than he's ever shown for United. How he's ever represented at international level is a joke really!
National Teams should always be about national pride, not about petty club conflicts. I celebrate with no regret when a Barca player scores for Spain. It's an honour to represent your country.
As an Everton fan watching Sturbridge score against Wales. I couldn’t give a shit that he was a Liverpool player. The whole street went mental. One of the best moments of football.
“Biggest silver spoon in her mouth amongst other things” and then proceeds to do a thumbs up. This is truly one of the funniest things he’s ever done😂 3:21
Just putting it out there that this is the case for MOST national teams tho. Most international teams have pretty diverse squads with players from rival clubs which score goals for the national team.
What about a video series looking at how things would be different if a certain team won a certain trophy. Such as Palace with the 15/16 fa cup. Hull with the 13/14 cup. Tottenham with the 15/16 premier league. Arsenal with the 05/06 champions league. West Ham with the 05/06 FA cup.
As a lifelong Arsenal supporter since 2003,I have never even mentioned negativities about the arch rivals Tottenham Hotspur related team news at all as they are a well developed team ever since their establisment even though, they have not won a title for the past 12 years and be reminded that they are one of the biggest teams in the world, good friends!!!:-D
This mentality is one of the reasons why England has been such an underachieving team ever since 66. You dont see this mentality in Germany, France, Italy or NL. NT is the NT, doesnt matter who plays as long as they win.
Were England fans. We suffer enough already as it is without bringing this into it. Let's be honest, when U can lose to Iceland, I think we'll all settle for a win regardless of who scores... great vid by the way!
to be fair, in my experience, i forget about what club they play for during it all and i really don’t care who scores. for example my friend is a die hard arsenal fan but he nearly wet himself when that trippier free kick went in
I’m a Scotland fan. I am an arsenal fan. I didn’t celebrate the goals. I actively felt bad when they went in. But it was worth it to watch them cry at the end of the month
I do not hate any of the England players for their club being Spurs - you offer a professional contract with tens or hundreds of thousands per week to someone then they will accept it
Sheff United - Any Jamie Vardy goal, he’s a huge Wednesday fan & played for them as a youth. Check that picture of him when he scored against them last year 🤣
I’m actually from Northern Ireland so I don’t have to worry about feeling dirty about celebrating, all of our national team players are in either England or Scotland.
If a Norwich player scores a 90th minute winner at the World Cup (which will never happen) I would celebrate like mad but then heavily question what I have just done
