An EPIC Undertaking For Our Rescue Donkeys 

This is the first time I’ve seen the donkey’s running around so much. I think they will love it. Kudos to you for making their lives happier. And ours! Love this video!!

Absolutely loved this…especially at the end when the donkeys were running towards you chasing each other….you could almost hear one say, “Mom, he’s bugging me”!!! The updated enclosure will be wonderful for them. They looked extremely happy to be supervising your work!

Sincere commiserations to Lincoln…as I am equally ‘cranky’ at the moment with Cold AND Cough… …So needed a dose of Chateau Medication… Starting with a stunning shot of the Donkeys silhouetted against a lovely Sunset… would look good in a Chateau Calendar ???…if you did one???… The Donkeys were a real starting role this episode… Inspecting… wondering?… rolling around… Clearly loving the road to nowhere… and excited to having a private road if their own…If they could say THANKS ALOT… they both just did even better.. with a demonstration of JOYFULLNESS…You and Lincoln Did GOOD … 😃👏👏👏….( and eased the crankiness… for a while too….Sue ( UK)…🫠🫠

Just a side note: check feet more often as abscesses tend to return from stone bruising if they romp too hard on the stuff. Rubber mats inside their run in shed would be good also under all that straw. We have the 4’ by 8’ by 1” thick ones. Their very heavy but worth it as clean up is much easier.

The donkey's look splendid healthy happy fun to watch. It seems. Too much for you. I find myself wishing you a financial windfall that would appear from shares in a dormant account to gain 200%. You could definitely do with some extra pairs of hands. And more gaiety in your lives. I never miss a video.

In 2023 my husband had 13 episodes of some kind of cold or flu from the wee grandkids who think nothing of coughing in your face and have constant runny noses. I have sympathy Lincoln, hope you feel better. We’re on a vitamin C regiment now to see if it helps.

That is the largest roll of plastic I’ve ever seen! Those are happy donkeys. You might want to add a sandy area that drains so theycan have dust baths. How’s the cottage coming?

Your concern about both your cats and your donkeys is admirable. You put your money and work where your values are. Being kind to animals is something I totally agree with. I have only had dogs in my life, but by this point I have had four miniature schnauzers, that lasted about 60 years. I hope that your animal friends have a good life in the paradise you’ve created.

You may also boil chestnuts. Bit easier than roasting. If you're feeling ambitious, make Creme de Marrons. Chestnuts, caster sugar, vanilla bean, cream, a bit of salt, brandy/cognac. Potage aux Marrons is a tasty soup.

Another day at “My French Chateau AkA My French Chateau Pet Sanctuary”. The donkeys looked like they were enjoying themselves Back here in San Francisco we are finally having some cooler days, as the Fall “Indian Summer’ now heat wave lasted longer than its usual. And finally there was some fog, enough that the Blue Angels got fogged out for the 2nd half on Saturday. It’s that time of year. Getting ready for Winter weather😊

They are so fun to watch! It’s hard to tell if they like it or if they are a little pissed off 😂😂 Either way, it’s very thoughtful and looking great!!
