I think I will wait for Edison Motors EV retrofit and buy an old square body to put it in.

Thank you for the comment. They're an amazing company, but I think you might be waiting a while. However, witt the rate of tech improvements, the company might pull away some of their primary energy on their logging truck EV series-hybrids to get that into the wild. Fingers crossed. Good luck!

That is awesome! What an opportunity to consider. I had a pre-order I placed the night of the original event and according to Cybertruck Owners site, I was around the 30k mark. I cancelled when I bought my Lightning. I just couldn't wait any longer with my business. It turned out okay. I could never have afforded the Foundation series. I wasn't happy with a lot of changes in the pledges from 2019 but then again, so many other wild features were added that were never part of the original prototype. I think it comes down to what someone wants to use to for. I'm so excited for you! Whatever decision you make, keep me posted - and if you go for it, some delivery event experience feedback and pics, please! @@razorx999

That's a tough call. The CT is groundbreaking tech, but I don't buy the inflation talk out there. Rivian didn't go up by the same amount over that time frame. My F-150 Lightning went up a lot but not that much, then came almost back down to the original reveal price 4 years back. Inflation adjusted, $69K USD (the tri-motor CT in 2019) would be $81K today not, $99K, and certainly not $120K. TFLEV just did a YT video on that and the they're is in exactly the same situation as you are, trying to make up their minds if they'll follow through. @@razorx999 All great points, especially regarding subsidizing the loss. As this channel grows, the plan is to put every available ev truck through its paces, but in a unique and entertaining way, so at some point I imagine I'll have one in the driveway too. I'll be keeping a close eye on how Legacy Auto responds in the coming year or two, and what actual competition, if any, expands.
