This brings me back, but like most adaptations there are parts I like, and parts I don't like. Not nearly as bad as the live action dragon ball or air bender abortions, but no where near as good as anime. Love the conceptual redesign of the Toguro brothers, or I guess it would be the Toguro selves in this case, but Kurama just plain broke my heart. There are a lot of little things that I want to nitpick about Like the 'Forlorn Hope', but some of the effects help to make up for it so I'd say 7 out of 10; I have sat through much worse.
I was confused too, but Kuwabara's full name is Kazuma Kuwabara (I forgot lol). For whatever reason this recap is going by his first name - even though Yusuke only uses his last name.
Jjk is not bad It's one of the most entertaining anime I have seen No fillers, good manga adaptation, great animation, iconic characters, well written story
Why does Netflix butcher Anime by cutting the meat of the series, the spirit detective AND dark tournament arcs in a movie? This is as bad as Fullmetal alchemist. Stooooop
So another messed up live-action version that endorses to watch the anime, right? Well that all you had to say Netflix. I’ll watch the anime then. Thanks.
This one’s not bad tho, just missing character development since it only has 5 episodes and a low budget. The fight scenes are way better than the anime imo, choreography is also amazing.
