@@SteffaniesJourney thanks Steffanie. I should have specified that they had to start changing color already. Its mostly my preference for them redden on the vine though because they tend to start getting soft soon after picking.
I bought two varieties in the spring. This one will be going indoors. I have one in the front garden that will be staying outside. First year trying it so I hope it goes well.
@@IrieGardens Aw that’s awesome! I always wander about banana plants in cooler areas. I love them!!They remind me of my motherland Ghana 🇬🇭. I have about four of them here in southern California, and I worry a little when it gets cooler in December and January when it drops to the mid 40s at night, and upper fifty’s in the day. But they’ve done amazing so far. Although I think it’s mainly because it’s mostly nice year round here, with no snow. I’ll be excited to see progress on your tropical plants also. Love your channel, smile and beautiful personality 🥰❤️🥰
You definitely can’t beat having that nice weather for the tropical plants. I love banana trees. We have a bunch at my house in JA and I’ve been determined to get some bananas growing here. I’ll make a video on it. So far they’ve been growing well.
