My Grandpa was an extra for the 2017 twin peaks. They filmed for two day in Wilmington CA at Eat at Rudy's. After filming my grandpa had a heart attack in the parking lot. Paramount called the ambulance and made sure he made it to hospital. They contacted him after surgery and told him everything his insurance didn't cover send it in and they would cover the rest. It was a stressful time for our family and paramount made it less stressful.
I’m glad that they were helpful during a terrible time. Last time I was in the Long Beach area I made sure to stop there since it was such a big part of the final episode. Excellent little diner!
The present owner is soooo damn cool! I love how into Twin Peaks she is. I remember her from the final scene in The Return. I hope she gets some coins from all those fans visiting her place.
Hello Adam. Another great video. Dave and I have never been to Twin Peaks but perhaps one day in the future! "A cup of coffee and a slice of pie..." definitely. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. ❤️
You are crushing it lately! That part of the world is beautiful and you are covering all the filming locations perfectly. Thanks dude! Come to Charlotte and do Shallow Hal.
As someone who lives in the Pacific NW, I LOVED Twin Peaks! When it first came out, my friends and I would go to the Mar-T Cafe in North Bend to have pie and coffee and soak in the Lynch vibes. 🤘🤘
This video brought tears to my eyes. We are from North Bend and to see these spots, it brought me right back home. My new favorite ATW video hands down. I hope you enjoyed visiting one of the most magical towns in the PNW!
Great video Adam and brother in law✌🏻 Love Twin Peaks AND all including its fantastic score and songs! RIP Julee Cruise 😓🌹(The world spins is my favourite) 😢😢😢
That mannequin was sure creepy!! That home owner is brave for having that in her home I think I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night lol, what a nice lady she was! ❤
This video is amazing. I really enjoyed you trying to figure out some of the details in the places, like the pylons inside the Big Ed's Gas Farm or the exact spot on the driveway Audrey steps on while getting into the car. I visited these places in 2019, but have been dreaming about going again and going to some places I didn't manage to visit back then. And your tour of the Palmer house tops it all!
Now I need pie!! This was very enjoyable even though I have never seen one episode of Twin Peaks. Don’t know why or how I haven’t…lol. I will def be searching for the episodes now. Thanks Adam!
Wild fact: I gave Sheryl Lee ( Laura Palmer) a massage about 10 years ago....I worked at a fancy spa, and she was visiting her folks, and she came in to get a massage! She was so nice. I hadn't yet watched Twin Peaks, but did, very soon after 💜💜💜
The movie Vanishing with Kiefer Sutherland and Sandra Bullock was filmed in North Bend. The Gas station where she goes missing you can clearly see Mt Si in the background 😊
I never watched Twin Peaks, but Pamela Gidley who played Teresa Banks in Fire Walk With Me is from my hometown of Salem N.H. . Went to school with her in 8th grade. Unfortunately she passed away in 2018.
We used to leave right up the street from the Laura Palmer House on 34th and Tulalip! Which is pronounced too-lay-lip. 🙂🙃 We now live in Windermere, FL. But we did live in Everett when they were filming Twin Peaks again in 2015. I just happened to do my walk right by the director and he told me it was Twin Peaks. The security guys working the area didn’t even know what was happening. I have some pics from that week. I used to walk by that house all the time on my daily walks (and down to the overlook because that’s where the USS Nimitz used to be stationed) and the owners used to wave at us and say hello. Very friendly.
EPIC!!! Really loved your journey through our beloved Twin Peaks land, especially being a 33-year fan of the show; thanks for sharing! Your other videos are great also!
When you crossed the bridge after the mill and sheriffs station, the crossroads is where the boy is run over in the return and also the scene with the one armed man shouting at Leyland and Laura in fire walk with me. Also opposite the RR is Nadines silent drap shop from the return.
🦉 This is a friggin mind blow! Twin Peaks is my favorite show ever. I watched the pilot live and been enjoying "damn fine coffee & 🍒 pie" all these years later.
Okay now you’re creeping me out. You’re standing steps away from the house I grew up in. 😂 and it’s pronounced “Two...Lay...Lip”. I got to watch them film the whole thing. 💕
Twin Peaks one of those programs i kept saying I'll watch but never got round to, i think i missed out, between the two of you, lots of detail, the lady and house were amazing Thankyou really enjoyed the vlog Adam and Ryan
Cool. I didn't watch Twin Peaks back in the day, but my son has recently become fascinated with interesting filmmakers like David Lynch. So we watched the original 2 season series run over the holidays. Haven't seen the Fire Walk With Me film yet, though.
ABC's Bob Iger and his creative team took over, saw the dailies, and met with Frost and Lynch to get the arc of the stories and characters. Although Iger liked the pilot, he had difficulty persuading the rest of the network executives. IGER eventually convinced them in the end.
Just when I think "Man, Adam's done so many location tours of so many iconic movies and shows, there's no way he can outdo himself again", you go and outdo yourself. I'm insanely jealous, Twin Peaks is legendary.
Beautiful house the lady was really nice! I never saw this show i remember the name though i had no time for much tv in those days besides the Simpson's married with children Seinfeld 90210 and MTV vh1 when i did get a chance but still cool seeing these places!
Just a note Adam. Nearby Roslin Washington was the 90s location for the drama series, Northern Exposure, which was the fictional town of Cisaly Alaska.
This was amazing tour of the house. Wow yes I remember Twin Peaks boy are you taking me down memory lane. Thank you. Do you remember Northern Exposure show it was shot in Roslyn in the Seattle area it is a pretty neat town well it was 25 years ago. See you next time.
Great Vlog, now I need to try and watch this, well at least the film. Son saw Keifer Sutherland in concert December totally missed that too - drat. Thanks for sharing you both looked as if you had a great time - that diner looked amazing
Never seen Twin Peaks. Heard about it but never saw it. I do have to say though that mannequin in the closet would creep me out. Very realistic looking. Honestly I think I would jump every time I saw that thing if I was the home owner. Lol
I have not watched yet but I saw the title and thought oh sweet you must have gone to North Bend. I lived in North Bend for years. You mentioned Fall City was busier than you expected but that area has grown quite a bit in the last few years. Especially North Bend. It’s about time you got to Snoqualmie Falls. You think it’s amazing now you should see it during a big rain event. Now Jacob the Carpetbagger needs to get to the falls. I’ve had 100’s of breakfasts for breakfast and dinner at Tweeds Cafe! Tweeds has always looked like that! In the summer they have a big festival and usually have a pie eating contest put on by Tweeds. You could shove your face full of the famous cherry pie lol. P.S. yes the theater has played episodes there in fact I believe they do a Twin Peaks thing every year or something like that!
Well this was a really nice video! :D I'd love to do a tour like this one day but unfortunately it's not very likely that I'll ever make it from a whole other continent! :D Anyways you guys brought the tour to me, and the lady who allowed you in the her home and gave a tour to you was super nice!
I have never seen any of the Twin Peaks episodes. I was too busy during that time in my life, "sowing my wild oats", so to speak. LOL I'll definitely have to check it out now tho. It sounds very interesting. 🤗 Thank you for this awesome video of the filming locations.
HEY ATW...IS IT JUST THE AWESOME PEOPLE OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST that embrace and nurture the fans of great, classic movies and television shows!?!! I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere in the country. The way the shooting locations are preserved and restored. Then, the signs,"Welcome Here" for those who might be weary of approaching for fear of negative reactions from owners tired of masses of fans trespassing for the love of their favorite movies! Today's episode was so entertaining and your brother-in-law was quite an investigative "Dr. Watson" to your Sherlock Holmes!
I was able to visit a few years ago... funny thing was that I didn't know it was the town it was filmed in, but when we stopped I could sense it was, so I looked it up and sure enough!
Hey Adam! Love your channel!👍 I think you should have people sending you a video saying “shall you” so you can add it to the being of your videos. Just a thought. Keep up the great work. You have helped me and a lot of people with your videos. Especially during the pandemic. Thanks!!!😁
