See www.virtualcoloranalysis.com or linktr.ee/carolbrailey for my colour analysis services info and booking info or view my other RU-vid videos or TikTok for further colour analysis videos :-) An in depth chat on skin undertone. Also adding that olive is not a skin undertone, it’s a surface colouring that may appear on skin. See my videos on olive for more info. For the other videos referred to -- this was recorded within a different social media platform so they are linked on there. They also for the most part are covered off in my RU-vid content 💕🎨⭐️ #carolbrailey #colouranalysis #coloranalysis #sparkle #undertone #makeup #colorseasons #colourseasons

I think my favorite part of this video was the caption that said olive is surface coloring and not undertone. I really wish more people who post about color analysis understood that.

Am I the only person who wasn’t surprised by my color analysis results from you? 😅

I was surprised haha I thought I was an autumn, but I'm a true spring 💐

I was confused between "kinda winter, but I'm too light and not cool enough for that" And "spring? But I'm not warm enough for that" And turns out I'm a bright spring 😅

@@ang5798 I thought I was an autumn, but looked constantly tired. So I started to think maybe I was a muted summer. And then I was , maybe I'm bang in the middle between muted summer and muted autumn...BANG, I'm a bright spring too. Shock doesn't define it. I instinctively assumed bright colours would look terribly on me, it's the exact opposite! I bought a bunch of cheap charity shop clothes in my colours and they look much better on me than most of my expensive clothes in the wrong colours!

I love this channel! I have a skin disorder like rosacea, so finding a good coverage foundation was so important. I never was into makeup beforehand or just threw on whatever Fair shade looked passable. I only realized I had to start color analysis because I cannot find a foundation that suits my coloring. 20 years ago, that seemed normal, but now, there are so many warm, cool, neutral, and olive shades, you would think it would be EASIER. Nope. I love these videos because, even though I can't find my shade, my brain trips out getting into all the dimensions of color theory (independent of what mine is).

This is great! 💖 I’d love to hear you talk more about features that tend to come with a neutral skin undertone, if that makes sense. Like, if hair colour, eye colour/pattern (to some extent) and skin undertone are all connected, what would that usually look like in eye and hair colour? Is there anything that definitely rules out a neutral undertone the way red hair rules out cool?

in her older videos she says majority of people are actually neutral leaning warm or cool but true neutral is VERY one in a million type of scenario it’s literally the unicorn of color analysis results like rare af so nothing really rules it out more so what rules in is how certain colors look on you. even tho being neutral though, there’s always also value (light or dark) as well as intensity (soft or muted) for example i’m a deep autumn. so i have a neutral warm undertone. if i were a bit less warm id be a true deep however there’s still the deep value that i have as well as that soft or muted intensity that i have as an autumn. i’m also agreeing with u too tho i would love to see some neutral color analysis content!!!

The more I see videos about it, the less I understand undertones. The examples did not strike me regarding the undertone. How to find out? For example, I look like a fair winter (dark eyes et hair, "neutral" fair skin), I receive compliments wearing fuchsia but I like best wearing gold than silver.

What are the 4 palettes for blondes?

Looking at your veins to find your undertone has really confused me! I'm naturally a strawberry blonde and my skin is extremely fair. (And I stay out of the sun.) So it is easy to see my veins and they are blue. So - cool undertone? But I've always used warm tones in my makeup, thinking it made my skin look more vibrant. I think I'll just keep doing that until I can have a color analysis. 🤷‍♀️
