I had never heard of maya until I saw an interview with her and goo and I found her very sincere and real and I have come across this video and I must say it really warmed my heart watching a sincere video bearing a little of your souls , fame has a way of stealing a little More of your soul slowly as fame grows and I've seen this in Hollywood industry as well as some vloggers that grew too fast .remember what you two ladies are like now and hold fast to that and no matter how your channels do you will be blessed in a much better way than fame could ever reward you

So often, people are too afraid to reveal any vulnerabilities, talk about constructive criticisms, fears, etc. The very “lack” of these important conversations, and lack of “honest” conversation in general, is a huge part of why relationships fail in the first place, whether it’s a family member, a friendship, a marriage or a significant other!!!! Firstly, I loved the initial start of the video, "Conversations with Shay". Consider adding 'Conversations with Shay featuring [insert name and RU-vid channel]". Like many other commenters, I also appreciate the meaningful one-on-one conversation with Maja. One of the key takeaways I heard Maja say was that after she first met you, she was already craving to talk to you again and that your eyes were kind. I think many of your viewers and subscribers also crave the next video you upload as your positive energy is magnetic. As I think back to your video on the bus where you paid everyone's bus fare in order to spread kindness, it was plain to see for anyone watching during the brief shots of yourself in that video, your eyes were filled with kindness and generosity. I would venture to say that probably unbeknownst to you, your positive energy even transferred to the driver. I think your maturity and overall life experience is what sets you apart from others. Thanks for adding the outtakes, I enjoyed the laughs.

Great video! Having "Conversation" with a much younger person can be different, I can see Maya as perhaps seeing you as an older sister Shay. It's also hard being the "One" that has to solve the problems, not only for yourself, but others that come to you for help. Many, say non introverted, type's can be tiring because it seems they can be addicted to the drama of it all, and in my opinion, can many times be the source of many of their own problems. Life can be hard sometimes for us all, but having a friend or two you can rely on is truly golden. Glad you two found each other!

Love this conversation, I have lived at depth and have mostly been an open, curious, and non judgemental person. I am so not materialistic, I am people centred mostly, but full of failures, shortcomings. Love learning . I have been unemployed, employee, and self-employed twice(unsuccessful), but so much learning, exposure, and experience , brilliant !! Thanks soooo much to you both . I would never guess in a million years how friendly Maya really is if it weren't for this incredible interview. Shay has this innocent way about her that allows Maya to open up and trust her. I always thought of Maya as this I'm better than you type of person, but nothing could be further from the truth. This interview proves she is kind, caring, shy and a true friend once you peel away the top layer. Shay peeled the whole layer away in one interview. I just came across this video but I can honestly relate to the feeling alone as well as the depression and or anxiety. However I am quite a bit older than either of you ladies and being disabled can be a challenge as it is. Many times I have to self motivate so I can function in daily life. It's really beautiful to be able to have a one on one conversation with someone who genuinely cares about you as a person. Time's have changed so much across the world but here in the United States, I would have to say that verbal conversation or communication has really taken a turn for the worst. It's like everybody just wants to text message others and not have a real interaction with each other. Hope you ladies find all the love and happiness that your heart's desire. Shay, I am a new subscriber and watched you on Roger & Ismi vlog. It is obvious that you are very intelligent, very attractive and independent. I have watched 4 of your videos now and they carry a message of a strong woman. That would be great for you. I believe that one of the reasons why Western men are attracted to Filipinas is because Western women drive men away because they are Strong women. Western men want to be needed and to matter to their women. Filipinas seem to be more traditional and adore their men. If Western men were happy with strong independent women then they would stay in their home countries. Happy New Year and Best Wishes for continued success.

I understand completely what Maya is talking about. That was the same for me when I was younger. She has the mind of an engineer and seems incredibly intelligent. It would be interesting to see if that is her interest. Her daughter gives her that ability to focus on someone and not spin on the thoughts in your head. I wish I could be there for her, but because of life’s choices…. Maya, you’re brain seems to be wired for problem solving and thinking outside the box. As a retired engineer I can see that. I believe God will open the right doors at the right time. Trust in that!

I enjoy learning about other people through video interviews and your conversation with Maya was great! Unlike many (most?) interviews the questions and answers improved over time as you both cultivated a rapport and discovered points of similarity. Rather than confine yourself to her bio, you dug deeper into her psyche and found yourself. Interestingly, I did, too-which is why I’m responding. You both stood apart from your peers-I did too. You both experienced occasional disruptions at home-I did too. You’re both introspective-I am too. I suspect your conversation is popular because other viewers share these similarities whether they say so or not. I could say far more, but I would rather talk in person over coffee if I’m ever in your town. I have enjoyed this interview-and your other videos-and hope you continue your good work. If you’re not a journalist, then you should be. You have good instincts in what you choose to ask. (If you are or have been a journalist, then that is another thing we share.)

A strong woman may not be able to withstand anything that she goes through, but those problems will have to DEFEAT her, she's not going to just give up.

Friendship can grow through surrounding yourself with people that have a positive outlook on life, like you too beautiful ladies.
