One of the most articulate testimonies I've heard. This might be my favorite Catholic Re.Con. episode. I've enjoyed so many of them that it is hard to choose, but this is definitely one of the most insightful. Thank you.

Excellent testimony!! God is so good! I was saved while in a same sex marriage where I had two children via sperm donation . This was 10 years ago and the spiritual warfare has been intense. God blessed me with a husband in 2021 and we are entering the Catholic Church on Pentecost. I was Protestant for the last 10 years until this summer. Gods grace mercy and forgiveness is awesome. The Catholic Church is Gods Church. God bless you Emmanuel God with us! Oh and prayer and fasting extended prayer and fasting has been a weapon for me! A great weapon for anyone in a spiritual battle ❤

AMAZING! I am awestruck in how you found the Catholic church. Shayne Smith had a somewhat similar story of God saying go to my church, the Catholic church. Simply awesome!

This young man has so much wisdom! God bless Taylor Moore and God bless Catholic Re.Con! (I like the warning against "rogue preachers" that Mr. Moore gives! An angry, restless person is not likely to be spiritually mature.) "Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). God needs nothing from me. But His Church is full of sinners, in need of healing. There is a place for me to offer myself there. And prayer is the place of intimacy with God, and the place of combat with the evil spirits! The Church is offering this year as a Year of Prayer! Happy Lent, everyone!!

Beautiful, we do not abandon Jesus and his Church because of the sins and errors of fallen man. We speak truth, though the Wolves in sheeps clothing want us to compromise and accept Evil dressed up as good. Pray the Holy Rosary daily as the Virgin warned many times for the Religous clergy and a Holy vicar on earth.❤🙏💖

God bless you Sir. And may God protect you. I becam Catholic about 25 years ago. I was an Episcopalian from birth. But that church went off the rails. So I became Catholic. Now this Chirch is going off the rails. The Vatican II sect has taken over the Church and the result is so bad I am reminded to "touch not the unclean thing " I spent a lot of time heart broken. Now I pray to God to tell me where to go. And I will go. The only thing that makes me hang in here is the hope that the next Pope elected reverses Francis' abrogation of Church laws. And that he rolls back the advances of Vatican II. So I'm still hanging around to see if the next Pope will be conservative enough to do these things. If he is a Francis 2.0, I'm gone. God will guide me. ✝️

Dear Anne Eloise, May God give your heart ease! You have been faithfully loving and praying for the Church that Jesus gave us -- the Church that He promised would never go "off the rails." But you have listened to people who claim to be "traditional", because they are afraid to follow the Holy Spirit forward. Vatican II was blessed by the Holy Spirit. The evil spirits howled against it, and we see the mess *they* made. And they have hurt your heart. I am so sorry to hear your pain in your words! So I will be praying, this lent, for you, that your Faith be restored in the power of Jesus to Be There in the Church. My prayers are nothing, of course, but I am asking our dear Blessed Mother to pray with me and to help you see that you are actually kneeling next to Pope Francis in your prayer for the Church. I have been there where you are. So I know that it is possible for God to change our suspicions into love for a man who is in the impossible position of being the visible leader of The Bride of Christ.

Check out Michael Lofton - Reason and Theology channel where he defends the Catholic Church from lies especially Pope Francis. He walks you through the documents and sites that clarify the issues that some Catholics and non-Catholics are saying against the Church and the Pope.

@susand3668 Well said. @anneeloise1951 Praying for you. Don't worry. Vatican II is just as legit as the 20 councils that preceded it. After EVERY council there has been confusion and division. Nothing new under the sun. The succession of ecumenical councils (and their documents and constitutions) are actually a phenomenal witness for the Church.

@@CatholicReCon Thank you! I graduated high school in 1969. Besides being an Episcopalian when Vatican II Councils happened, I was also young (early 20's). I went to Europe when I was 18, and saw the Vatican! It is impressive! And the sense of power there is other worldly. And so that power is supernatural. As a convert, I should just trust that the Holy Spirit took me to a God-àpproved Church. God wouldn't drop me into a broken Church. I will photocopy your post and the one above so that as Satan confuses me again, I can reread all the both of you have said. Already my heart feels brighter! Thank you! ✝️🛐💟

I’m from Sydney Australia. I’m Protestant but seeking the true church that best reflects the biblical teachings of the apostles. I visited my local Catholic Church to observe. I noticed the consecrated wine was not given, only the bread was. I made an enquiry into this and was told that the wine is mostly not given in Catholic Churches and that only one element is necessary (bread) to receive the fullness of Christ. Is this correct? Is this from Vatican II? I’d appreciate a solid answer on this. Thank you 🙏
