I know what you mean. IMO it seems that he still only Catholic in name because of his ex-girlfriend that he isn’t still over, and because of his desire to separate himself from his heritage/culture/parents. It seems more like a facade and I don’t think he truly cares. Catholicism is more of a “show” or a “performance” for how he wants others to perceive his life…and perhaps as a sort of revenge on his ex, to give her reasons to regret not staying with him because “look at how good and Catholic he is”.

The onlyONE who can interpret Bible verses infallibly is the Magisterium of the CatholiccChurch. Fyi , the Bible came from the CC which is founded by Jesus Christ Matthew 16:18 since 33 AD , first and original Christian Church. Your church was established by human being already not Divine. Read read read Christian history and dig deeper!

@@truthhurtsalways4u There is no papacy in the Bible. It is a man made religion. The apostles were the one's in Christ's earthly ministry. That's very clear in God's Word. I don't follow a pope. I follow the Lord.

Evidently you know ZERO about Catholic Church teaching and ancient Christianity . During these past 3 decades ,hundreds of thousands of people who were in your shoes before have converted already to Catholicism .Some of them were RABID anti Catholic like YOU before they converted .This coming Easter ,tens of thousands of Evangelical Bible only Christians will be received into the Catholic Church . We received HIM ,body,sould and divinity thru the Holy Eucharist . there have been hundreds of former staunch anti CatholicProtestant Pastors ,BIBLE SCHOLARS ,HISTORIANS ,THEOLOGIANS ,to name a few ,who are now Catholic Many more are following their footsteps .Where have you been????? You are being left behind . Jesus is the center of Catholic worship.The Bible came from the Catholic Church . But Jesus Christ is the Head of the Catholic Church. He build only one church through His Apostle Peter only not even to His 11 Apostles but only one Church and the successors are the popes, and it still continue today. Mathew 16:18-19 - Jesus say to Peter "you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My Church and the power of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the key of the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". Jesus Christ love the church and He pray for the Church. Luke 22:31-32 - "Simon Simon, behold, satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail; and when you have turned again, strengthen your brethren". John 8:31-32 - Jesus say "if you continue in My Word you are truly My Disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free". John 10:9-10 - Jesus say "I am the door, if any one enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly". John 5:39-40 - Jesus say "you search the scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness to Me; yet you refuse to come to Me that you may have life". John 5:44 - Jesus say "how can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?".
