Good Morning Tessie, Sisters, Brothers, and Friends:) Wish you all a wonderful blessed Tuesday filled with Gods Joy and Happiness:) Remember to pray for one another and for all around the world:) God Bless You! Love you all:) Keep smiling be safe:)
Who else hits the “like” beforehand? 👍🏼 I’d love that meal, and those pesto cubes are getting done here at our house too. Our market has butter $1.79 a pound, and our farmer’s market has bunches of basil, so I’m going to can up 20 lbs of butter and make pesto cubes! I’m so excited about the cubes; you have the best ideas! Loved this one, Tessie! 💯
@@lynnheffron6905 I do...then I watch video. Its a habit. I don't do it others but Tessie was first channel I started watching on daily basis. Now ONLY ONE I watch every evening but I might look something up....I have all the supplies she uses for candle, soap, laundry making etc. I just love watching her!
I adore you Tessie. Thank you for teaching us how to be smart with our money and how to appreciate simplicity in our lives. I just love your home. My husband and I are fixing up our own run down trailer and after watching you I just know that with some hard work and patience I can have a lovely little home to be proud of too. I absolutely love your mobile home. I want mine to be just like yours. God bless you and your family 💖
Always a thumbs up from me Tessie! I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer. I'm grateful to be able to watch your videos. Thank you so much for all that you do. God Bless. 💕
@@HomesteadTessie trust me. It was awful. My oldest son said to me, "Mom, not only did I lose my Dad, but I lost my best friend". I felt the same way.❌⭕😔
Tessie, since I don't can, I've been stocking up on can foods soups, veggies, spam , chicken, tuna , rice, beans, pasta, can fruits, t paper, trash bags, sauces, soap, detergent, candles, batteries, oil lamps, dog food, frozen meats, if we don't lose electric.etc. Better than doing nothing at all. Do you agree? If we don't need them it's things we will always use. If your fridge ever gets full in the winter, do you ever keep food outside for a day or two? We do. lol. TFS. God Bless.
My goodness you look like a totally different person!! I haven't watched a video in a while and I'm shocked how great you look. So happy and healthy. You have a glow about you🔥🌞
Those are big and look delicious.great idea for these times of none on the shelves.I love the cheese.and mixing the bites is how I like to.I did not know berkey did not remove nitrates.been drinking the water from mine until now.good dinner thanks
@Seeker I just bought a Berkey. Had to save 2 1/2 months. Now Im kinda bummed out. Don't know why that charcoal wouldnt remove them. What else did you find out if you don't mind my asking?
Dr Susan I'm wondering also.I was using mine until I read that yesterday.they are very expensive and I'm very low income with substantial health issues so thought water was important and berkey was the way to go
That looks tasty! Often the most simple meals are the best. I'd love to learn more about the herb butter. That looks like a great, simple way to add flavor to a dish.
YUM!! That meals looks so delicious, my mouth was watering!! We do the same big meal usually earlier in the day!! Take care and God Bless!!! ❤️✝️✝️✝️❤️
Good evening Vernie my friend:) Had my mouth watering too I could almost smell and taste it love to have one big meal mid day once in a while:) Love and Hugs:)
Tessie. Dinner looks so yummy. Have you ever heated your tortillas on the stove over the fire.? Oh my gosh Tessie you will love it. They become warm, soft & you get little chard spots the tortilla. Just flip it once or twice real fast over the fire. See you tomorrow 🥰
Your pantries are great & your videos are still just getting better & better Tessie sister!! Love the door open & your 'Welcome' sign, very homey! Tyfs, 👍 are first for you!!🙏♥️🙏☝️🤗🥰😘👵👍👍
GREAT video!! Tessie I LOVE when you wear skirts. Would LOVE for you to talk more about the Berkey which everyone we know owns. We have had a lot of Japanese exchange students over the years and EVERY one of them were SHOCKED at how big the meat servings were here in the states. We rarely ate meat and when we did it was more like in Japan (1/2 cup max per person) where meat is more as a condiment NOT the main part of the meal.
I get either the shaved steak, or the fajita steak at Aldi. Add peppers & onions for hubby. One of his favorites. I cannot eat peppers and have to be careful with onions, but I grow our own peppers for hubby. He loves them so. The cheese is a great way to make your own Philly cheese steaks on the cheap!
Try making some colcannon sometime. Col is the cabbage/mustard family such as kale, collards, kohlrabi, and a slew of others such as turnip greens. Cook cabbage, onion, and mashed potatoes together. Mix them fine. It's Irish. That is a good and cheap combination--cabbage and potatoes. The potatoes have milk in then. You only need a little spot of meat.
Another nice video! I'm binge-watching to catch up.....been gone, now back and enjoying all of your lovely videos! You just keep plugging away, and don't over-do now, Tessie! We wantcha around for awhile! :) Blessings to you dear! Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
I buy this kind of steak all the time, we call it shaved steak. I prepare it almost the same way and is it ever tasty! It’s nice and cool this evening in Upstate NY, hope you had a great Labor Day.❤️
Great looking meal! We are doing intermittent fasting. Eat 8 hours/don't eat 16 hours. We eat a large lunch too now. Small early afternoon dinner, then water, black coffee, unsweetened tea. We are not hungry and are losing with no effort. I really didn't think you had too many ads before. I think you could add another ad.
I would love you to show us how you made a block with butter, olive oil and basil that you added to the peas . God bless . Love your videos on how to be more frugal in these tough times .
