Thanks for sharing such a nice comprehensive video. I have one issue when I work with DOE(selecting Taguchi Technique), a message "design is corrupted. Invalid factor column C2" is displayed. Please suggest any solution.

Great video I have a concern though I don't understand why the uncontrollable factors are varied as if they can be controlled. I believe those are just repeats by fixing the controllable parameters and you can't really comment on the state of noise factors. They need not be in the states designated in the video.( Talking about the y's)

In Taguchi designs, noise factors are factors that cause variability in the performance of a system or product, but cannot be controlled during production or product use. You can, however, control or simulate noise factors during experimentation. You should choose noise factor levels that represent the range of conditions under which the response should remain robust

Is application of Taguchi/DOE really desired !! In simple words is it in Demand, seems like very few companies use DOE

Hi. This results is enough or must be ANOVA analyz? When i try to do ANOVA it gives only * not result ( p And f). What is it mean?

Hey, thanks alot for your presentation, but it appears that i am missing something about the analysis, how can i get data to each (Y---, Y-+- and son on ) and is there's a pattern to these Y''s? thanks in advance

+Ahmed Helmy It is called "Design of Experiments" for a reason. You are the one who will experiment to get the data. Using that data you obtained, you will be able to analyze it to give you information.

Hi, good morning, how taguchi use in wire EDM optimization,I use three factor ton,tof, Feed.output is kerf,sr .but I can not get the required ans,i use to calculate by e/ñ ratio.can any one specialist of EDM help me.i am very thankful to him.

Hello Karthik...Thank you very much for making this wonderful video. I have a small doubt that I have my level values and i want to insert those values instead of 1,2,3,4. When i enter those values and then Y column it gives me error that "design in corrupted. Invalid factor column C1". Could you please help me with this? Thanks in advance :)

+Manpinder Singh you should not alter the values in C1 C2 ... columns which were initially created after applying the L9,L27 or any array.

Here 1,2,3 just denotes the levels, and these corresponds to particular value at level 1, 2, 3 e.g. for factor Current level can be 1-23C 2- 24C and 3-25C....similarily for other factors

hi , is it possible to analyse an experiment with tagushi method when you have parametere with different level ? (parametre A with 2 level and parametere B with 4 level ) ???

Sorry for the late response, but yes. You can find many orthogonal arrays that have this implementation.

dear karthik. i have question. i was run experiment taguchi for 5 factor with 2level factor. after analyze, graph show that main effect for SN ratio is at A1,B1,C1,D1,E2 have higher value. but when to compare to the table, there is no trial that using A1,B1,C1,D1,E2, from the table, i can find the largest value for mean and SN ratio at A1,B1,C1,D1,E1. how can u help me?

Taguchi method is used for reducing the no. of experiment done for getting the optimum result....now as in the example 4 factors each of 3 levels lead to perform a total of 3*3*3*3=81 experiments which is not practically possible, so using taguchi method while performing only 9 experiments we can fined the desired level of each factors to get optimum o/p. Now, as u r getting largest vale of sn ratio from graph at A1,B1,C1,D1,E2 that means this is the required set, now if u r unsatisfied.....just perform one more experiment with this set,and u will surely find the maximum sn ratio at this set.
