As a college student I took a class abroad in London for 2 weeks over New Years 05-06. Never seen so many “exotic” and expensive cars. Keep in mind I’ve lived in rural Kentucky all my life, the land of Corvettes, Cameros, and Mustangs. First time I had ever seen a car that had body guards, I think it was a Pagani Zonda but had no idea what it was at the time.

"The worst thing they can say is no." Something I've drilled into my kids for years: "You no ask......You no get." Yes, odds are the person standing in front of you has a lot more money, power, etc, etc than you. Get over all that and speak up and ask your question. Being respectful but vocal has opened a lot more doors than it closed over the years.

Turning your hobby into a lifestyle - that's the dream! I've experienced a taste of London's car scene over my visits. The first time I ever saw an F40 in the "wild" was in London years ago. Same for a Veyron years later. I recall seeing a Carrera GT and F50 side by side at the Dorchester hotel and a random 275 GTB and Zonda 760 blowing by me. It's a special city, and the cars aren't bad either.

This is great. Not only is he a happy & successful young man but he's done it with his Dad, which to me, makes it all the more better.

Try spotting around Oxshott in Surrey... (it's where most of the Chelsea team are, plus their practice ground!) It's also where the first million pound Bugatti got written off! Some guy from, I think Saudi Arabia, lent it to his uninsured mate! Who promptly wrote it off on a corner embankment in Oxshott village (opposite the post office). I remember it cos I was a postman collecting the post! 😊 I've also seen people get ramps out of their cars so that they can negotiate the London speedbumps! 😊 😂

30k subs over how many years isnt really viral or successful is it? but unlike the other spotters, this guy has a TV show and a booming Instagram. top class doing the spotting!

love car spotting in london, being doing it since around 14'-15' it's a bit annoying now with so many people but still fun to do occasionally, always something worth seeing

It's a good thing for this dude that everyone isn't like I am. I see a supercar "cool car" while glancing towards it and immediately continuing my life and forgetting all about it. This dude is a total, unashamed car perv, lol.

The supercar scene is insane espically during Arab season as its known. Veyrons, Zonda's etc everywhere on a decent day. Even London cars in their own. Savage scene got hundreds of photos on fb if anyone wants a look. I'll be watching video later when I get time 😛

It’s always nice having fans of exotics like this, but for me, my love is in the form of modest vintage cars. My dream car is an Austin A30. So I’m a bit odd. While there’s at least one late-20s person to appreciate these cars, and I’m happy being that guy, but I do feel I’m the only one sometimes.

Knightsbridge is definitely a hotspot for Super cars and has been for years. It is one of the most affluent places to live in London.

What's the point of having a supercar and just driving it around the city where speed limits are really slow. Makes 0 sense. My Miata could do just as good at those speeds.

Saw a fantastic SLR yesterday in mayfair brown/brown roof convertible Arab plates being pulled out if its garage so the door man could get an X5 out 🤣🤣🤣

This is essentially what I do, but the cars are worth £100,000-£1,000,000 less. A clapped-out blue Nissan Bluebird in Immingham or a moss-covered Vauxhall Omega is my version of “exotic”. And its still fun! Everyone’s free to have different tastes. Just mine is cheaper. Case in point: 9:23 - see the BMW.

4:30 I think I can top that… first car I ever started up, was a, then, brand new SLS in Silver beeing displayed in a Mercedes Benz Dealership in Germany, when I was around 9 (born in 2000) It was a blast. There were a dozen middle aged men standing in front of the car being told anything about the car, from a very young sell’s man. Young me, had no problem what so ever to ask him, if he could fire it up. Promptly letting the group of men erupt in giggling. When he said off course, most of them went silent and only gazed at him and me with smiled from ear to ear. He sat me on the passenger seat and showed me the button I had to press. Moments later the 6.2 Liter V8 roared into live leaving a black dust cover on the Window it was parked against. It only lasted 20 seconds or so, but it was great fun. Some of the man praised me for asking, and my dad was ashamed like a young girl being asked out for prom. That was the first car, I ever started up. And it also was the last car for 10 years with a gasoline engine that I fired up. I rly like the Diesel.

Annoyingly I’ve been spotting in London far longer than even Paul and Shmee but as I lived too far away I couldn’t do it regularly to built the content and obviously didn’t drive at the time. I started back in 2004-5 before there was even anywhere to share it.

Sure, it'd narrow down the age or the building, general region of construction, potentially the specific brick yard used (etc) due to coloring, size, specific grout, etc, etc - but no. You can't pinpoint a building off an image showing some random brick. The community DOES sound awesome - someone needs to get this kid something to drive... maybe start with a 1st gen Festiva, work his way up!

I appreciate the love of cars but it’s ridiculous now, cannot wait for the bubble to burst. The havoc in Monaco last show was a prime example, Leather skinned posers driving round and round at 30mph whilst crowds of schmee wannabes run into the roads and live traffic to get the shot, it’s all just got out of hand and all the take overs in the USA or gauntlets on show exits, It’s just not what I think of as car culture or petrol heads, these are influencers and instagrammers getting the golden hour shot with a Rolex wearing arm on the steering wheel bullshit, I guarantee most of the actual owners couldn’t open there own engine bay and most of these spotters could name any spec list warrior supercar but wouldn’t know why cosworth are such a big name.

Is anyone surprised that some bloke from England can tell, one, from " just another brick in the wall" . If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding, when you don't eat your meat!?
