I'm so belated at checking the comments section--HOW IS THE BED WORKING OUT FOR YOU??? And which version did you go with?

@@kq7579 I went with the softer in a queen and it is AMAZING. I must have tried 100 mattresses over 6 months in stores. I sleep so comfortably now. Best purchase ever.

We just got the softer model because my husband is a side sleeper and I tend to rotate from side to back. That is what two different reps from Winkbeds suggested. Two weeks in and I am ready to return it. Terrible back problems that have become increasingly worse. The day before yesterday I could not get out of bed without help and even then the pain was horrible. Dosing with Bayer Back and Body every 6 hours to help my body recover. I slept on a pad on the floor last night and will continue to do that until we can return the softer version. Debating an exchange but so many others seem to have pros and cons so will probably exchange for firmer. Hate mattress shopping.

Betty Starsz Omg I’m so sorry to hear that. Mattress shopping is definitely the worst. I’ve heard good things about helix and nectar so maybe try that. Helix gives you a quiz and I’ve seen videos of 2 people who had the nectar over a year and love it so I’m going to try that. Wishing you the best of luck and hope you find the mattress for you. You’re the second person to say they don’t like the winkbed so I’m going to avoid the trouble.

Belated reply--It took about a week and a half for my back to adjust. Side sleeping was great--but when I'd roll onto my back (again this is the plush mattress) I didn't feel like I had enough support in my lower back. Kind of get that pain-in-the-arch feeling. After about two weeks, my body adjusted and I haven't had any issues since. I've slept on the nectar before and it was too firm for me.

I HATED the memory foam feel. Like you roll over----and then PAUSE and wait for the memory foam to mold to you...and by the time it molds to you, you are ready to move again....that SLOW response time.....This feels nothing like it! I'm definitely biased toward liking a SOFT bed....(but NOT "soft" like memory foam....How much does your husband weight??? Anyone over, maybe, 180, who wants FIRM, might find the soft/plush version WAY too soft....But, I absolutely love it! For side sleeping I loved it since night one. For back sleeping, took about 3 or 4 nights to adjust Hope that helps!

As I hope my review showed, there definitely is NOT any motion transfer from whoever is sleeping on the left side to whoever is sleeping on the right side

Candi, Im in the same boat as u.. Moving away from a 20year old plush sterns & foster pillowtop, So did ya get a soft winkbed? What ya think? Thanks

@@JMil7777 we ended up with the luxury firm, my reasoning is that neither of us is especially in shape so I figured we'd break in the firm to a decent comfort level without feeling like we were sinking into the softer. The first time laying on it I was extremely happy with it... since then it's fine. I don't have that magical experience I did with our original pillow top but it's perfectly comfortable and most importantly neither of us have back pain any longer. I definitely recommend it, especially if you're not comfortable going to try out beds during Covid etc. The delivery was just like any other package and easy to set up so that was great.

@@JMil7777 I'm going to do an update video next month. I'm still wicked happy with the soft version, but you have to really like soft. Sounds like luxury firm is the way to go for most people...Especially anyone in the 160+ lb range. Those might need more support.

My bed arrived ten days after I placed my order-so super fast fulfillment. The box had seen better days via UPS 🤷‍♀️ but the mattress was unharmed. Easy to get inside. Great customer service. I'm four weeks in and happy so far!

S. Fraser SO glad I went with soft! The first 3 or 4 nights if I did roll to my back, I got a little sore from the lack of support. But after 3 or 4 days I adjusted to that. And side sleeping I loved it since day one. I came from an awful spring mattress and he came from a Casper and we both pretty much universally say “Omgosh this bed is SO comfy” everytime we lay down. Only thing better he says would be like the $5,000 tempur-pedic. 100% happy. I’m about to get the platform. Winkbed is on the ground right now (customer service said that is okay to do) but now that I know I want to keep the bed) I’m going to get the platform as well!

S. Fraser did you like your luxury firm? That’s what I’m thinking of getting!!

@@kq7579 You don't need a Tempurpedic. We have one and it's not worth it. Can I ask if your partner is over 200 lbs? Just wondering bc I'm a side sleeper, on the heavier side and my partner is average weight. He is a combo sleeper & is worried about his back on the softer model. Thx for the review

Zero regrets! Wish I had bought the platform as well-but didn’t want to buy Incase I didn’t like the bed. Super happy with the king-size. Rotating it every two weeks for the first two months. You’ll love it if you are a side-sleeper. If you’re a back sleeper-it’ll take a week to adjust. The first couple nights I worried it was too soft for a back sleeper. And the lack of movement transfer is great! Never disturb my partner!! Recommend 10/10!

How is the pillow top holding up on this mattress? Is it breaking down quickly?

@@CheyenneAshley I haven't experienced any pillow top breakdown. And I followed the guidelines and rotated every two weeks for like the first two months. Still loving the mattress. I'll do an update video next month!

Plush is the softer version. Luxury firm is stepping it up to the more firm version. Plush is the softest one they put out. I love it! Took about seven nights for my body to adjust. First three nights I had a bit of lower back pain--but after the first week I've had no problems. Most comfy bed I've owned! Need to do an update video soon!

Yes! I got the "Plush" version, which is their softest-rated at a 4.5. I'm a side-sleeper, so I knew I wanted a soft bed. The next step up, "Luxury Firm" is great for most sleeping orientations. I'm four weeks in and happy so far. Took four nights for my body to fully adjust--I was slightly worried I went too soft, but I'm really happy now! So comfy. No "stuck in the mud" feeling with the pillow-top. And despite being a hybrid, (i.e. springs on the bottom) I don't disturb my partner when I move in the middle of the night. Only con I'd note so far: the plush does sleep hot. Thanks for enjoying the video! So fun to make it!

Do you find that it has softened up even more since you have had it ? Also how is the pressure relief?

S. Fraser I don’t notice it feeling any “softer” than when I bought it. You do rotate 180degrees every two weeks for the first couple months. I feel enough support. He has had multiple shoulder surgeries in the past and still raves about how comfortable this bed is.

K Q Thanks for the report! I’ve been looking at this one as it looks like the right amount of plush to firmness. I’m no spring chicken so I need something that I can move around in and hopefully get up out of but also I have had end stage osteoarthritis in both shoulders for some time. As for the sleeping hot or cool on these mattress reviews they don’t really concern me because once I get a mattress i put on one of those mattress envelope cases and then a mattress pad on top of that to avoid the plastic. Also i wash the pad at least 2 or 3 times a year. Can’t wash the mattress. Anyhoo I hope that you’re both enjoying your mattress. Oh and thanks for including in the review about noticing partner motion.

I find this now w ALL the mattresses bc they’re putting that GEL FOAM crap in them all that is hard so the beds don’t break down. I’ve bought seven mattresses and my shoulder hurts so bad every night. Did you ever find one??

I’m going through the same thing. I bought the queen luxury firm, the mattress seems to be really good quality but it hurts my shoulders and hips. I tried sleeping on it for two weeks but I would wake up in the middle of the night because my arm would hurt (side sleeper). So now it’s sitting in my garage until the 30 days are up. I was considering getting the soft version but I guess I would be having the same issue you’re having. Glad I saw your comment!

Potentially because I got the "soft/plush" version... Most reviews are done about the luxury firm. In my experience, something like a Temprpedic sleeps much cooler. (But also, not nearly as soft or comfy in my opinion)

@@jazzyboy7784 Well, my husband likes it more than me. He's a combo sleeper (back and stomach mainly). I'm a side sleeper with fibromyalgia so I need all the pressure relieving qualities I can get but this does not provide that. Perhaps the plush would have been better for me. It's also a bit bouncy so I feel my husband move. IMO, hybrids and mattresses with springs will be too bouncy for me. I will be getting the Amerisleep AS5 soon

I’m about three months in and still SUPER happy with the bed! Just went and got the platform advertised on their website as well. Platform gets an “🤷‍♀️” it’s fine review. I think with the platform my bed is comically high-but the platform is sturdy and quiet and easily assembled by one person in about 30minutes. The fabric on the platform base isn’t the highest quality, but I think everyone will be distracted by how great the bed is, that no one will be looking at my bed frame. Now the quest to find good pillows is another story. Already return one from Coop Homegoods (shredded memory foam) and one from Brooklyn bedding-way too high a loft for talalay latex.
