This guy seems very sound and fairly clever aswell. They should have included him in hall of fame what harm would it have done them. After all he played on first 3 album's and they are important stepping stones in their success.

He didn't play on High Voltage, the first album. But, I agree, it was a little disappointing that he, Simon and Chris weren't given their due.

1st time I´ve ever seen him, on film, after his departure from ACDC. Still looks good this guy. As a huge fan of the band, I´ll be sure to check out his book!

I like mark but I’m glad Cliff joined. No disrespect to mark but it worked out for the better. Cliff is more advanced and it really shows in the music. Thanks for the early years mark.

I can’t believe Angus and Malcolm would not allow Mark to be inducted in the hall of fame. If he’s not in then neither is the rest of AC/DC as far as I’m concerned.

We have to admit that the final production on DDDDC was pairly poor at best. Simply snipping the scraps off would have made a big difference in the overall final product.

Mark Evans' comments here on his sacking from the band for what was perceived by Malcolm as lack of commitment is not the full story (there is more detail in Mark's book). I think Mark was going out and drinking at that time between gigs just as Bon had always done to get away from the Youngs' intensity but why Mark was sacked while Bon was retained for the same infraction does not seem fair or logical. With most bands when trouble occurs, usually what it comes down to is personality clashes. Mark is Australian and as such was probably too direct for the sensitive Scottish brothers, including George who also once questioned Mark's commitment at a gig with a poor crowd reaction.

I thought about the same thing many times, as to why Bon never got grief for doing the same things Mark was. I conclude that the youngs all knew that Bon was the golden frontman who at that point knew that Bon was not replaceable... he was older and had more experience than them, and they knew it. So they left him alone but I believe there would have been a shakeup had Bon lived.

Both Mal and Angus knew if Bon left , Mark and Phil would of left with Bon and started a new band called Bonfire. Which Bon had mentioned that he would call his band if he ever put a band together. Mark and Bon kept in touch after Mark was fired.

What ever went on in the past should really stay that way. Acdc band are very private people I'm sure they dont want this dragged up. Mark is interesting you dont know what happens behind closed doors in massive super big bands like acdc . Bon drank a lot to Dave Evans got sacked from acdc malcolm young for clash of personality they didnt like dave tone or voice or style. The thing is its called music industry its very very tough going. The thing is I would leave the past behind me and move on let things be.

I agree with what others are saying I honestly do think it was a clash of personality that why mark got sacked. When your with someone 24 7 work eat sleep its bound to take a toll on others

Couple of things Cliff had going for him and Mark didn't. Cliff had 12 years experience and he sang back up. His looks didn't hurt him either.

Mark. You didn't quite make peace with the Youngs after You sued them. Now You want recognition. We can only hope Angus and his wife can forgive You for suing them and that they realize we want You back for a farewell tribute AC/DC release for Malcolm's legacy.

The Record Company owed Mark Money for those LP's he played on and he wasn't getting the Royalties he was Entitled To; Angus and Mal got mad becuase of it and Axed Mark from getting in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Mark was Right to do what he did.

The Young brothers were so consumed by their vision for the band, that they were willing to step on anyone to reach their goal. They are ruthless.
