An Interview with Tobacco Auctioneer Gregg Goins 

I was extremely fortunate to meet Greg Goins in Rhodesia circa 1972, when he was out doing a season of Tobacco Auctions there - used to sell with a cowboy hat on, much to the amazement of the locals. He came and stayed on our farm for a couple of nights, and slept with a Bull Terrier and and assault rifle (FN) next to his bed. I saw Greg again in '89 at the RJR World Tobacco Auction Championships in Danville Virginia. I was a Tobacco Auctioneer for 19 of the best years of my life, and partly due to Greg Goins!
