I'm Argentinian, Lobo here was almost as big as Batman, followed by a national antihero called Cazador and then Punisher, seeing the american heroes are all gay or emasculated makes me happy that Cazador is no longer running.

Not only did she spell birthday wrong, why would she only give herself a 10 minute reminder of her girlfriend's birthday?

The numbers dont lie, these short form videos where you tear into them are GOLD, please keep them coming Evs.

I was talking to a friend of mine 2 weeks ago, he has been a comic dealer for 30 years. He is very left leaning. I asked him how new comics were selling. He said 4 years ago new comic sales were some of the best he ever had. I asked him how about now? He said, "I don't know what these companies are doing. I can't sell this shit."

Early 90s 4 part Lobo comic run - "The Last Czarnian" was and still is a killer story. I revisit once a year. If DC was serious about live action cinema they'd write the series as faithfully as possible into a 120 minute movie. Love that series so much.

Let's see if Crush & Lobo lasts long enough to make it to a second "brithday".

The bike panels, and the bike itself is Tetsuo's bike from Akira. I agree on the art quality, everything else makes me want to vomit.

Sorry to hear that Bob from Stormwatch Comics isn't doing that well with his store. He was very nice the couple times I talked with him, and was gracious enough to carry our first two issues. I think we also met him at Garden State Con, but I can't remember for sure.

I used to own a Comic Shop in the 90s, stores don't need to depend on new books to pay their bills. Stores need to go back to the way stores were in the 70s and early 80s, just sell back issues for the comics, and only sell independent and CG books for new books. Outside of that, have a website online store, along with an E-bay store, also diversify into games both card, old style D&D, Vintage Video games and systems. There are other options, but, by no means is a Comic Store dependent on New books, that is just narrow-minded thinking by some Comic Store owners.

At this point wouldn't it be easier to list what comic characters aren't LGBTQ now.

Lobo murdered all his kids. So why is this Crush character suddenly a thing? Seems out of character for Lobo to have a daughter and he not be trying to kill her every chance he gets. And considering Lobo is a match for Superman, there are few that could stop him from murdering her if he wanted to.

On the cover: The lower shoe is connected to a broken ankle! No one can extend their foot forward/back that far. Also, the upper shoe heel - The back of the shoe looks 2d or super narrow right up until it meets the soul of the shoe. Not to mention, the sole of the shoe isn't even shaped like a shoe, it's just a rectangle.. And then there's the FAT!

Love Lobo, especially the Keith Giffen comics, but I skipped out on this one. Paramilitary Christmas Special is a classic! My local comic book shop seems pretty busy lately.

Oh man, I feel bad for these stores just terrible. That comic was garbage just wow that was bad. Who knows maybe one day someone goes into DC and Marvel and fires everyone and starts from scratch.

The worst part of that cover are the stars in the cresent of the moon.

From the cover alone, I can tell "Lobo" has super-strength.

haha I own this series too. Only because I collect Lobo. Pretty sure I picked a dirt cheap lot off ebay with none of these covers. Haven't read any of it, just slotted it in the back of the Lobo long box.

I wonder what Keith Giffen and Simon Bisley think of this mess?! Kind of looks like some of Bisley's images of Lobo were copied for those last few pages.

That cover looks like the crappy cover of a coloring book, not a comic book cover.

A rare case where the interior art is MUCH better then the cover art.

Honestly, had i been given the task of creating Lobo's daughter i would have made her a "Marilyn Munster" type of character. Since Lobo is an all out wrecking machine, have his daughter be this angelical, naive, *NORMAL* woman. It would've been a much better dynamic since opposite personalities tend to bounce each other better, and because it would be a nice change of pace from having yet more unlikeable alphabet characters.

If your comic book store stocks crap, they deserve to do poorly. That's just the way it is. They need to be smarter with their shelf space of they get what they deserve.

Heh... Some of the DC Pride label comics are ALREADY showing up in bags of 8-10 comics at Ollies! Had to have been a HUGE sales disaster for them to show up this quickly. The average print-age for books and trades at Ollies is 5-6 years. Mostly arrive in pristine condition which means they've been boxed and in storage for 5-6 years. The fact the "pride stuff" is showing up less than 2 years later demonstrates that it's NEVER sold! Zaslav must still have some cash to burn! His "stewardship" of DC Comics is just as lame and ineffective as the last 3+ WB directors before him were....

To see this you'd almost want to think Jim Lee has a lesbian daughter who married another woman and he's desperately trying to normalize it to make himself feel better. And then all of the creators who want jobs figured out how to get a story done there and doubled down. Wow, tinfoil hat conspiracy time Batman. Every cringe story that gets pitched and has a gay theme will get greenlit under Jim Lee, sales and success be damned.
