I made this cutie today. I so enjoyed sewing this bag because it moved so quickly. I am a beginner and had only one problem. I sewed my zipper tape on the wrong side. So, now my lining is my exterior and so on...my next one will be better ha! Thanks, Jess, for thinking up this cute Loot Bag! I love it!!!

❤❤❤SO CUTE! Fantastic job!! Can't wait to make it! Need for my clips, 1 by my machine, 1 for my craft table, 1 for snacks in the craft room, and 1 for snacks by my chair in Livingroom! Next, I need to get the acrylic templates when I get back from the cruise!! I am excited about the new zipper method!

I have done a pouch with the same zipper method that you use and I really like it! It allows the bag/pouch open up nice and wide!

I love this pattern. I am making myself 2 right away.. 1st one for my sock knitting projects and the 2nd one to hold snacks while I’m knitting. Excellent tutorial with three zipper options. I like the long zipper option the best. Thanks Jess. ❤

Hey Just a quick question about the svg file - I didn’t think I had enough ink to print the 28 pages of the pattern so I downloaded the SVG and cut that out on my cricut. Was wondering if there’s a special way to attach the interior template - it doesn’t cut all the way out on the cricut. The exterior cuts out the half template perfectly. Sorry if you’ve already answered this.

How is $10 expensive. Writing a pattern so it can be understood is no easy task.

@@dawndowdakin797 Yes, pattern writing is time consuming and involved. BUT, this is a simple bag pattern and not a complex garment pattern imo. Sad to see the channel going in this monetization direction as I've sadly been here since the beginning and increasingly the content simply seems to be moving onto the money train bandwagon. Oh well. Off to find new creators as there are so many wonderful ones out there that simply want to share the joy of crafting and not fixate on monetization of a subscriber base which seems to be happening here imo. $70 for acrylic templates of rectangles?? Really?

Have you ever created a pattern and know what goes into it? Do you make and edit videos and know what work goes into it? Also, if you have no idea the cost of acrylic, let alone the laser to cut it, how do you know it's expensive?

If you are going to pass then why announce it? I’m sure no one would notice if you passed. The prices of clothes patterns do not come with instructional videos either. How $10.00 for a video tutorial and a pattern are too expensive is just a ridiculous statement. Shame on you for being so rude! But then again, maybe you weren’t being rude…..just ignorant…..if that’s the case I apologize for calling you rude as I know sometimes you just can’t fix ignorant!
