Why even bother doing a review if it's not even the right size? Just ask them to send you the right size before making a video next time. This video was not that helpful for me because I can't tell if your issues were due to the shoe or just because they were the wrong size for you.
Most reviewers would send the shoes back and get the correct size. Seriously why run them through the mud when you messed up? It literally says they fit true to size on the website...so you order one whole size down.
Silly question, but do you think he does not know his shoe size? Like, when they asked his shoe size, do you think he gave them the wrong size? It says they fit true to size, but MANY people say that you should get 1/2-1 size larger. Others remove the inserts to get the fit they want. Other brands of shoes seem to go the other way. There isn't a "true" size when it comes to many of the brands. The company really should have sent him a range of sizes. It would have been nice to have heard from someone like this on the range of fits because it seems to be an issue, but the burden is hardly on an influencer with 16k subscribers to do what a company with a marketing team should be looking out for.
Sounds like you need a selection of shoes sent to you so you can see if the size is the issue or not. I'd guess that feeling the floor is a design choice. It seems very in line with the brand of wide toe box - enabling healthier feet through allowing your toes to spread and take load in a natural way. Loved the cheeky end note.
Im a 10 in Jordan 1, 9.5 in converse, and 10.5 in vans. The size 11 fits me perfectly so I would recommend going up half a size of your true size. (My true size is 10.5)
Comparing any new weightlifting shoe to the Romelo 2 that has been discontinued for years and is impossible to buy seems unfair. If you dont currently own a pair of Romelo 2's, what weightlifting shoe do you recommend?
I just got the lifters and the everyday WOD shoes and felt like I should do a review. Out of the box they both fit perfect but yes, get your actual size. They run true. Great video bro 🤙🏽
Great review, but saying you wouldnt make the switch because of comfort when you went down a size from your regular shoe shouldn't count against the shoe imo.
People complaining that you got the wrong size makes for some nice Friday afternoon enjoyment. I think you were very open and honest about how them being a size too small effected your judgement. Thank you for the review! And more lifting videos pleasaaase! 🥺
Tyr got burned badly for 1: not sending two sizes 2 not paying Sonny 50k. I do have the lifter for a couple of months now and the only complaint is lateral stability and not because of sole by the upper which is too soft.
