The Colorado State Police claim Rendon bought a Red Bull at a gas station just before his famous speed run. He had his helmet off when he bought the energy drink and they got him on surveilance cameras drinking it and then putting on his helmet and leaving on the GSXR1000. He used his credit card to buy the drink and that is where they got the name and what he looked like.

Absolutely assault. Im a rider too but if you shoot a 9 mm over and over on a crowded sidewalk to see how close you can get to peoples heads, you deserve to be in prison. Except he is shooting hundred of pounds of mass within inches of moms and dads and kids and girlfriends and people others care about, even if Gixxer doesnt. You have no right to force others to be a part of your experience or your thrills.
- HIS RU-vid channel linked to his Google account with his bank details posts the footage with voice over claiming to be the rider.(they will call witnesses to testify the voice over is him) - HIS bike(previously pulled over and identified by being ticketed whilst riding it and it's pretty distinctive with the two tone) - HE can be identified riding the same bike as shown in the video, in the same area on the same day shortly before the run(via cctv with no helmet on buying a drink with his bank card) - HIS phone is then tracked start to finish completing the run and can be correlated to the bike by cctv along the route. - The rider clearly has identifiable skin blemishes on both his hands at the start of the video which would be compared to the arrested during booking. - Plenty of voice over in subsequent videos in which he never denies it was him whilst discussing the potential trouble he's in. Clearly this all comes from the prosecution version of events but assuming those few points are established, I'm not seeing a whole lot of "reasonable doubt" that it was him riding. People have been convicted of far more serious offences based on circumstantial evidence such as this🤷♂️. Also fyi the menacing charge is for "placing people in fear of injury or death"(I'm paraphrasing, can't remember the exact wording) and the victim is anyone on the highway who he overtook at 150+ mph.

I've also been wondering with the "menacing" charge, I wonder if they had calls from people while it was happening? Those could be considered victims also. I've got to admit though, in your eyes I'd definitely be a bit of a clown as I do think high-speeds and lane splitting on a motorcycle is pretty cool but also willing to admit the danger to others on the road isn't so cool. i think morally its wrong and he should be going to track days but hes clearly a skilled rider if he has so many videos out and he hasnt wrecked in a single one
He has had a handful of wrecks, but somewhat minor ones relative to most people's idea of what motorcycle wrecks look like. Obviously he hasn't had a major one since he's alive and well lol
That's funny af my judge told me when I got sentenced in polk co to never come back either. He said 7 felonies should be enough for you to know leave while you can
@Americanmotorcycleexperience yes sir Grady judds rules in his facilities will break ya. They said my Michigan charges was considered violent in Florida so my entire bid was spend in max custody, they day I got released I setup a ride back to Michigan and ain't looked back. I applaud Grady these days, them days not so much he def changed my life for the best.
Everyone seems to be missing the point, even if he beats all the charges in both states and manges to keep his license, the police don't like him and they know who he is and where he lives, it will be years before he can leave his house and not be followed by the police... if he out runs the police they will be waiting for him at his house. Gixxer is over.
I think that a conviction needs to reach "on the balance of the evidence" rather than the higher "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard: 51% rather than 100%. By that standard it merely is necessary to show that it was very, very likely to have been the Brah, not someone else. "No face no case" is just idle thinking in this case, just like his purple-and-white bike not having a license plate. You don't need to see someone's face if you have all that other evidence to show identity. And who needs a license plate when all you need is to find that one particular bike, the only one painted purple-and-white? Take off your plate but leave your bike extremely distinctive. Sheer genius! Depending on how much of an annoyance to the cops and a danger to the general public this clown has been taken to be he probably won't get a plea deal, not after all the trouble Colorado and Texas already have gone to. A Colorado DA would not have gone this far if he were not pretty sure of winning a serious conviction. Some random guy who did a one-off blast up the highway in the middle of the night, and got caught on radar doing 170 in a 55 would be in some trouble for sure, but here ... with already jail and extradition ... after such a build-up this isn't going to end with a $500 fine and a six-month suspension, not unless the Brah has hired some extremely talented and expensive lawyer. And even if it did turn out that way, the Brah is now a marked man.
I knew they werent going to let him get away with that, i commented on the original video that it was stupid for him to post these videos of him breaking all these laws and how they were probably building a case on him
He was obviously getting his legal "advice" from the same lot as Sovereign Citizens and Flat Earthers. Nobody is truly anonymous on the internet. Many tried to warn him but he was adamant about there being no face, no case. His own hubris was his downfall. Now we will wait to see what they throw at him and what actually sticks.

I told him specifically if he pissed off the wrong one they would dedicate their lives to nailing him to A.) make an example out of him and B.) To make a name for themselves for political reasons. And that is exactly what has happened. They will go after MaxWrist and FastlaneD as well if this becomes mainstream news.
Prett sure they have cell phone pings from his phone at those locations at those times on that day. But yeah i guess someone else could have had his phone on them
You said it... allegedly. How will they prove "beyond a reasonable doubt"....unless...he confessed. Then again making a shirt bragging about it may very well cost him.

I'm definitely interested in that especially the menacing charge, I'd like to see what the state uses as a victim on that. All I see is traffic infractions and still have to prove who was on the bike...
No harm, no foul is a pretty daft concept to apply to blatant safety issues. By your logic, I assume you'd be OK with me randomly shooting in your direction and you'd only have an issue with that behaviour IF a round hit you??
