Everyone had gotten back from looting the ships of the Englishmen, and were beginning to party and drink rum in the town center. As you walked behind your captain, you could hear a drunk Captain Jungkook starting sea shanties in the middle of the plaza, a partially sober Captain Seokjin throwing bad jokes to his drunk mates, Captain Hoseok dancing with the ladies, and Captain Jimin joining in to the sea shanties with his own crew. You entered a tavern soon after, seeing the captain of captains, Namjoon, setting at the bar, accompanied by Captain Taehyung of the S.S. Singularity. Acknowledging the captains, you took a seat at a nearby table while they spoke. You were a very experienced swordsman, and knew all the captains personally, so you were always close. Just as the sun hit noon,the other captains abruptly opened the pub door, revealing everyone in chaos outside. "Captain! The Children of Aurora are headed towards us!" Jungkook exclaimed, causing all of you to get up. "To your ships! We battle today!" Namjoon exclaimed, causing everyone to do as he said. You took your position once the vessels were in view, and helped take down the ships and carry the bounty. The children of Aurora were great pirates with an enormous fleet, so these six ships were nothing but a fraction of their navy, and made them great gold. After a long fight, you count your wounded and your dead, setting fire to the enemy ships and sailing off to rendezvous with the other ships. "Where to now, Captain?" Asked Seokjin. "Back to our island?" Asked Jimin, tilting his head. "No, we're going home. Its about time we faced the Auroreans once and for all." Traveling alone would attract less attention and, if it came to it, minimize human losses. You had left the Black Pearl behind in pursuit of what no other pirate had yet to bring back: the Map to the Land of the Dead. You needed it for something more than to indulge human greed. You needed it to find someone. To find them and to bring them back. The wind suddenly shifted, uncovering the moon from behind the night’s cloud cover. You paused only for a moment letting your eyes linger on the moonlight refracting off the small crests on the waves ahead when you noticed it: a circular pool of past motion no more than a few meters away. Your entire body tensed. Your oars dropped silently to either side, dragging in the water as you felt for the brass handle of your sword. Having spent more time out at sea than on land, you knew just how suddenly its tranquility could give way to chaos. You were at the mercy of the sea and whoever else called it home. Your breath came out in stilted exhalations as you steadied yourself. Then you did the only thing you could do: listen. For what, you were not sure. The siren’s call was a subject of fluctuating conversation at most ports, but the only definitive conclusion you could ever gather from those conversations was that it differed for everyone. A single piercing note sounded from the darkness. It was at once the voice of everyone you loved and of those you had lost. You loosened your grip on the handle of your sword. The disembodied voice reached a high point, and your throat constricted. Memories cycled through your mind, each more fleeting than the last. They were of promises whispered to each other in the dark of the night, the taste of salt, plans laid out, and small caresses. Warm tears trailed down your face, all while mellifluous notes filled the air around you and embedded themselves into your very soul. Your single yell fell silent among the flowing voice that seemed to source its power from the currents of the sea itself. As suddenly as it had started, it stopped. Your movements were no longer your own and with all the speed your muscles would allow for, you looked over the side of the boat. From the depths of the water, or the extent to which your limited vision allowed you to see, it emerged. You knew then that every conversation you had overheard about sirens had occurred between people who had never seen one. It was beautiful. He was beautiful. His hair was as dark as the night that surrounded you and the ends of it curled back in on its self, framing his face. He was so close that you could reach out and touch each individual piece, watching the hair thread through each of your fingers before falling back into place. Illuminated by the moonlight, you followed the gentle slope of his nose down to his lips. You saw your paralyzed self reflected in his incandescent eyes and felt all the fear leave your body. A smile that had sealed the fates of many others before yourself formed across his face. With no effort, the voice enveloped you once again: “Because that moon looked lonely / Because it looked like it’s crying bright in the night sky / Knowing that the morning would come sometime, / I still wanted to stay in your sky like a star / That day, that moment, / If I had known that it would be like this, / I would’ve kept more of them in my memories.” He extended his hand out to you, sleek and unmarred by imperfections. You rose to your feet and, closing your eyes, plunged into the icy water. He returned to you more beautiful than the last time you saw him. His tail was an iridescent silver like the thin strips of moonlight that pierced below the surface and the only indicator that he was other than human. You felt utterly at ease, and the strain on your lungs became a dull inconvenience. as some who was an unhealthy obsession with bts, pirates of the caribbean and classical music, this is the most amazing blessing to me AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Chaos resumed, as swords were thrown everywhere, canons were blowing off every minute, amidst it all, you spotted Seokjin, who was able to swiftly push an enemy off the ship, causing them drown in the deep sea, Seokjin immediately approached you, and started yelling through the loud noises. "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO CAPTAIN?" You tried to think as fast as you can, there were too many enemies around, your whole crew is fighting them, you needed a way to get rid of the pirates, and it needs to be quick and clean, but you had to make that you would not harm any of your crew in the process. "SEOKJIN!" You screamed back, "GET JUNGKOOK AND NAMJOON! AND GET DOWN TO GET THE BOMB! WE'RE FIRING IT ONTO THEIR SHIP!" Seokjin thought he should get his ears checked when he heard you say that. "WHAT?! THE A.R.M.Y BOMB?! BUT WE NEED THAT FOR THE-" You didn't let Seokjin finish, as you cut him off, telling him to hurry up and go. With that, after fighting off his current opponent, Seokjin quickly disappeared, you hoped that he had listen to you, he should anyway, you're the captain after all. Your eyes diverted back to the chaos, as you quickly started fighting again, you slashed your sword to each pirate that had came into your way, and you saw Jimin about to be pushed off the ship by a pirate who was much larger than him, even though you weren't as tall as Jimin - much less the opponent - you knew where you should aim for, as you grabbed the nearest rope, and your feet worked it's way to climb as high as it can, before leaping onto the large pirate, and slicing his neck open, saving Jimin from his fatal death. "Thank you.." Jimin panted, "Captain-" "Jimin," You started, "Seokjin, Jungkook and Namjoon went down to get the A.R.M.Y Bomb, we're firing it onto their ship. I need you to make sure everyone else is out of the way for them three." "But Captain," Jimin retorted, "We need the bomb when we get to the island, otherwise we can't get the treasure!" "Look, the crew's safety is much more important than a piece of black ball, as the Captain, I have to think about the crew," You paused, which caused Jimin to gulp, "So Jimin, I'm telling you, you're going to make sure no one gets in the way of firing the bomb, understand?" And with that, Jimin nodded. "CAPTAIN!" You heard the familiar deep voice yelling at you, and you turned around, to be faced with Taehyung. "CAPTAIN! JUNGKOOK IS FIRING THE BOMB!" "LET THEM DO IT TAEHYUNG! I TOLD THEM TOO!" "BUT-" "OH FORGET IT! WHY IS EVERYONE REACTING THE SAME WAY?!" Just then, a deafening noise that had certainly came from the canon went off, which caused everyone to stop fighting, you watched your enemy's ship rose in flames, as they rose the surrender flag, the A.R.M.Y Bomb is extrememly powerful, and it is the most powerful bomb in the world, there was only one left, and it was in your possesion, but you had just used it on the enemy, defeating them, to you, your crew mattered more than some silly old tale treasure, your friends, are much more valuable than that. You turned to Taehyung and Jimin, and grinned widely as you said your words to them. "Let the enemies walk the plank, we're showing them who's boss."

You feel the ship blow back and forth from the cannon balls hitting the sides of the ship. You're worried the crew is outnumbered, you long to help the captain. Suddenly you hear voices, of the other 6 captains. They came rushing upon Captain Taehyung's SOS. You rest assured that the Captain has help now. The calculations on your paper trip you up, you're almost out of ink. You stand up to get more only to hear the cheers of the crew above deck. They won the battle! Surely the 7 captains' reputation couldn't get any better than this. Happy to hear peace, you sit back down after grabbing more ink, and you continue your calculations. You hear the heavy steps of heeled boots coming below deck. You keep your head down, afraid of who may be coming. The steps get louder, closer, and slower. You feel a slow hand on your shoulder. The voice behind you calls your name. "We won! Here's a little thank you present." Captain Taehyung hands you a glass of water. It's quite the present since the ship has had to ration the water among the crew. The ship hasn't been restocked for a few months. You smile, and take a sip of the very little water that's left in the glass. You turn around to see the Captain smiling, arms wide open. You stand up to hug him, and he holds you with the dearest apologies. "I'm sorry I had to put you down here, but I was just worried how you would fare against all these attackers. Either way I'm grateful for your help." He says as he squeezes you like you're his best friend. He lets go, and starts up to the dock. "Take care!" You smile at him as he leaves. Your smile fades quickly when you hear a sword coming out of its sheath. You hear the Captain holler at the top of his lungs. "ARMY" Another ship had come to attack the S.S. Singularity. You stand up and grab a dagger as fast as you can, ready to run up and fight along side your captain.
