Another reason why I love this remake: this fight originally just used the regular Bowser encounter theme. The remake gave it a brand new remix.

@@ZorrinKozaki What they have is the ability to render their allies transparent! Not fun dealing with the likes of those ones as it makes all your attacks useless against them while they have free reign to hurt you!

1:48 X is a 5 star Intellect character from Reverse:1999. He is a scientist and tinkerer who has a goofy and friendly personality with a nice design that mixes white and grey together. His eyes are different colors (one being yellow and the other being blue. His play style is based around dispelling enemy buffs and counters with single target attacks, while his ultimate attacks every enemy on the field and disables them from gaining moxie and using their ultimate. (Also he has the coolest event skin in the game)

This chapter has so much life and suspense in it and I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions here! The contestants were a lot more nuanced than I remembered, which impresses me. Also, I love how ironically finding a place for *refreshments* took more out of you than the tournament fights lol.

Magikoopas are the most annoyingly inconsistent thing in the spanish Mario localizations. They can't decide if the enemy line is called Magikoopa or every single one of them is called Kamek.

So far this remake is hands down better than the original it feels more ominous in the story... I’m not a TTYD fan but even I could tell that this game has its charm also I named my orange yoshi Churro... I thought it was a cute name also uhh don’t get mad but... remember the shine sprite you can’t get outside... hammer under it

fun fact about the no attack from the partner rule... it only specifically mentions moves that do damage towards enemies life, but it doesnt include moves that are utility/no damage, And Flurries gale Force counts as NO DAMAGE mean u could still one shot enemies with her and get the condition cleared

@@ZorrinKozaki also there's a similar case with the don't attack for three turns rule. I remember doing this for the original GameCube but I don't know if they did it for the switch but whenever you were given that rule on not attacking that rule only applies to mario, not your partner. meaning they can still do damage with them. you just got to keep Mario off for a while

You know, it’s kinda funny. I assumed that Bowser surprise encounter was caused by the chapter’s antagonist, but after finishing it, turns out his surprise challenge was not related to the chapter’s plot in any way.😂🤣 Also, I similarly had trouble figuring out where the “watering hole” was.😅 Great video Zorrin!😁👍❤️

Still can't get over the audio editing to make it sound like Grubba is speaking into an actual microphone. It's just a simple echo and reverb combo, but I haven't heard it in other TTYD lets plays before now. And getting to fight Bowser in only chapter 3?! That's definitely a great surprise, and Zorrin responded accordingly: with confusion, then glee, then joy as Mario and co trounced him.
