the positions were correct Main and lead are two different things. Main is a higher position than lead and there can be multiple people with the same title.. just letting u know^^

If you’re actually trying to get into a group, you shouldn’t react to unhelpful guides because they are almost literally UNHELPFUL and go into no detail at all. I recommend at least watching a HELPFUL guide if u want to get to know a group

When someone says 'lead dancer' it's like the back up dancer of the main dancer like when the main dancer has solos usually the lead dancer appears behind the main dancer. Main dancer is greater than Lead dancer.

Actual for chaeryeong I think she is underrated. She is actual an amazing dancer it’s just that the clip doesn’t show off her true potential. Anyways they are a talented group and are really powerful rookies. Can’t wait to see them grow even more.

every member that's part of the dance line is gonna be a lead dancer, same with rap line/vocal line, then there's one member who's a main something. For example, in bts, jhope is the main dancer, but as jimin, jk and v are also part of the dance line, they're the lead dancers. JK is the main vocalist, but jimin, v and jin are the lead vocalists, cuz vocal is their position. In izty, the main rapper is ryujin, the main dancer is yeji, and the main vocalist is lia. all members except lia are lead dancers (with yeji as the main dancer) so the group's strong point is dance, just like mamamoo are focused on vocals.

Whenever you see a member in a group is a “main dancer” or “main vocalist” that means that that that specific member is the best dancer or vocalist. If a member is a lead dancer or vocalist that means their basically second best. There can also be more than one lead dancer or singers and main dancer or singer

MixNine is a survival show where multiple trainees and already existing idols compete to debut in a group. Ryujin won first and was going to debut with other girls in girl group (that’s the prize for winning the show, finally debuting and achieving your dream) but the debut fell through. Other survival shows like this (but the debut did happen) is Produce 101 (plus the other season of produce that’s it’s too long to name) and Idol School.

Btw chaeryong and her sister are both the Main dancers of there groups, they been dancing since they were kids, they were actually togather in sixteen the survival show that made Twice, Chaeryong actually made it to the finals but her sis didn't, also if you remember Jeon Somi the soloist she was in sixteen with Twice as well ,and twice was supposed to be a 7 member-ed group but at the last moment Jyp added Tzuyu(twice visual, maknae,vocalist, and lead dancer) because of fans votes, and also Momo(Twice main dancer, vocalist, and sup-rapper(been dancing since she was 3 years old, considers one of the best dancers in Kpop) because he thought that she is someone that Twice can't debut with because when it comes to dancing she is pro!!!! I think Momo and Tzuyu were ranked either 9th or 8th I don't remember, but Jeon Somi ranked 10th, and Chaeryong ranked 11th, so basically Twice, Izone Chaeyone, Itzy Chaeryong, and Jeon Somi are very close!!!!! Itzy are twice biggest fan girls!!!!!

They call it an unhelpful guide because it’s supposed to show you facts about the group and it’s members as well as some of their funny moments. But all “unhelpful” guides are helpful and it’s supposed to make you laugh and get insight in each of the members in the group that you are trying to learn about!

In K-Pop "Lead" means second to the main (vocalist/dancer/rapper) while "Main" means "the best" at that position.

the info is correct and it’s very normal in kpop to have a member with many lead roles and have other members with the same or similar lead roles. Same thing with main roles and sub roles. The way it works is this way ( from best to least) Main(dancer/rapper/vocalist),Lead (dancer/rapper/vocalist), just regular dancer/rapper/vocalist, and Sub(dancer/rapper/vocalist)
