Congrats to your Mom for tackling the steep. Love those shoes! This hike reminds me of Haystack Mountain near Rogers Pass.

So, that little "rock" was pretty steep, but good that it didn't last long. It was really nice at the top, even though the cups for tea time were in my backpack in the car. Ha. And shoutout to the MONKEY SHOES! 🐒. They have been pretty great all summer long. Thanks for coercing me to go up this tiny little mountain. ❤️

I know this one has been on the YMCA of the Rockies led hikes. They always talk about coming at it from the backside.

@susannal1314 Yeah, I think we did backwards from what the book said to do. I didn't realize there was a trail coming in from Milner Pass, however, we couldn't have found parking there anyway as the lot was completely full.

@@robertjaycox8488 Thank you! I am not really sure why you can't hike there. I'm guessing either the terrain is really delicate or there are animals up there that they don't want disturbed. But that is just purely speculation.
