Mrs. Crumplebottom was just born with that bag. It's been there since the beginning, it's not going anywhere now.

Say what you will about Mrs. Crumplebottom, she has dedication to holding onto that handbag.

The kissing cutscene made me literally go HAH outloud. At twelve in the morning. The whoohoo made me semi convulse as I tried not to wake my dad up

Honestly Mrs. Crumblebottom refusing to let go of her purse is very relatable. I also carry mine everywhere and rarely let go of it.

It's interesting that she got the birth cutscene she did because I'm pretty sure the game actually chooses which cutscene to play (the standard one or the alien one) based on the gender of the sim giving birth and I thought the game recognized her as male, so I'd expect her to have the alien baby cutscene.

How would you even animate Crumplebottom on Crumplebottom kiss ? Them sliding toward eachother ? 😂

On the topic of Unsavory Charlatan, I once added him to Olive Specters family and killed him. But when I used the mortality adjustors to spawn his ghost he started doing this weird dance and music played. When he went back into his grave music also started playing and made a weird yell. He didn't behave like a ghost at all, he basically carried on as he would idly on a community lot.

Video inspired me to make Mrs Crumblebottom (obviously not the NPC version) and Unsavory (also not the NPC) a couple in my custom hood I'm working on, and they'll probably be one of the only "normal" families in the entire 'hood.

Thank you for making this! It made me genuinely laugh everytime she was stone-faced in cutscenes. I always enjoy your content.

This was absolutely amazing, and I laughed so hard during the Pink Soup and the Wedding bit. Thanks for posting! I loved seeing her kid as a child as well. I have experimented with CrumpleBottom myself in various ways and I have found the results to be very interesting. One of the things I struggled with when it came to her and another universal npc (The Witch Doctor) was killing them. I finally managed to do so with the Cow Plant and boy, that really messed her up. I then had an even better idea when I was playing John Mole, and I essentially did what you did in this video except I never changed her outfit back and I never married off her and John Mole. (I could not figure out how to get them engaged) It took two failed attempts, because she just had to keep leaving the lot, but she was finally able to give birth to a baby boy named Erik. Sometimes when I was in Downtown community lots, she would show up and i'd get the "this sim has died on another lot yadayadayada" message and she would fade away, while other times she would stay on the lot and preform her normal interactions. Sometimes there would be a handbag, other times there wasn't. Since the game recognized her as a ghost, she would also go through walls and float up and down stairs. I created the best cryptic possible and made Mrs. CrumpleBottom scary. Then I reinstalled Apartment Life and now my game will crash If I try to enter any household she is in or even click on a memory that involves her. So now I have to play chess when I pick a community lot Downtown, because I am pretty sure she will crash my game if she shows up. It is worth it though, I love corrupting my game. I just hope installing Apartment Life hasn't messed up Knut Futa as well. I still have plans for him and I want to finish his journey.

Also, I really love your Blightgate videos, they always manage to make me laugh and it's nice to see how you integrate the corruption into your neighborhood. And the Sims 4 cutscenes are such a cool idea!

6:50 Exterminators are safe to add to a household, or have them on the lot outside of their in-game purpose, the only 'bug' (haha) that you may have is their Plumbob being in the wrong spot like the Repo-Man. Still safer than the Repo-Man nonetheless. (Edit, rewatched the vid and saw the note on the top right). Other than that, that's the "Royal Wedding" I'm down to go to.

the mrs crumplebottom hot tub woohoo was so funny, straight up looked like a mannequin or a half-life SFM lmao i've also never seen that pink flashing texture/animation glitch before now either, despite loving the sims 2 for so many years. a little unnerving honestly, but having it flash a glowing pink would certainly make it apparent during development that something is off.

Predicting the uniting with Charlie lol Also I wonder if it would be possible for toddler Crumplebottom to lecture someone, because others had the chance to flirt with her in her toddler form and she always hits the flirting person with her purse, so she could probably do it lol And your videos could be 2 hours long, I don't care, they're the best.
