That's our home course. My 2 daughters are future college golfers and are inspired by you. We are big fans and would love to play with you one day. Anaheim Hills GC is a fun course. My girls love the great practice putting green and chipping green. We also enjoy all of your videos...thanks for the great golf content.
I dont even play real golf. I play fling golf. Played the same way, same course, different tool. But i still enjoy ur videos because u talk thru ur course strategy. Im shooting 85ish trying to break 80. Ur videos help me with decision making. Love it. ❤
@ 2:32 Q.May I remove an out of bounds stake? A.No, objects marking course boundaries may not be moved. If you do move one of these objects before you play and doing so makes your next stroke easier in any way, you must put it back before you make a stroke. If you don’t, you will lose the hole in match play or get two penalty strokes in stroke play (see Rule 8.1a and Rule 8.1c).
Yes I think that everyone would love to have a game with you Gen. I know that it's more work but we love the shot tracer to see where you tee shots go! 😉
Cool course. I just cannot understand, there isn't a bell system on the course, so you know when the ball in front of you are safe. We have them many places in Denmark. Hear a bell ringing ? Then safe to strike the ball !
So weird that I've been watching you slaying it half way across the world and now you're playing at my home course! Hope you had fun. I always OB right on the first hole!!
Very good video, Gen, your smile and positive attitude are just contagious You played a tough course very well for it being the first time you have seen it. I look forward to your videos, they are so good. Thank you.
Go Gen! Big fan. So cool to see you at my home area to play golf. Its like watching Tiger play at your home course and be like 'woah the pros play here too?' Speaking of which, if you are still in the area, go play Dad Miller - Tiger's course while growing up. Lots of history there.
I'm loving your videos as I'm learning golf and this course is just 10 minutes from my house! I'll definitely check out this course once I gain the confidence to play. Best of luck on your journey!
Good thing to get in a habit of doing from time to time, play later in the day. Especially if you compete. You don't want to be heads up against someone who's competed more than you and has more time playing in low light. Same with weather conditions. Put yourself through the paces, that way in tournament conditions you are still comfortable
That is absolutely the best time of day to play golf, though you may have left it about twenty minutes too late on your start time. Great evening! Well played!
I use to play in company leagues and many times finished in the dark. Made some great putts that I couldn't see go in...Lots of fun with a few bears after the round, life doesn't get much better than that. I think it took you 13 holes before you made one of those right-to-left putts. All in all, not bad after some time off!
*Gen this is our rough course wish I knew you were going to be here SoCal I could get you out on Friendly Hills GC or Hacienda CC now your not wasting your valuable time waiting for Tiger in front to hit his eventual 110 yard 5 iron or Tiger in back of you rolling it by you on the fairway. Glad you at least hit up Coyote Hills let me know when you come back.*
That looked like quite a nice course, not the longest but actually pretty cool and nice looking. Did you enjoy it? I've been playing in the dark with friends and my phone flashlight a few times, that's so crazy but funny hahaha so definitely thumbs up for that Gen!
hi Jen great video as usual , great insight into your golf management, also shot selection. i also have noticed you grip with the putter(how are you finding the change) great on you to have a good rest and break
I recommend you head inland to Palm Springs as there are over 140 golf courses in the area. I personally recommend PGA West which has 3 PGA level courses that I know you will enjoy and find challenging. Try the Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Stadium courses (each priced about $150 including cart). You can book online and I recommend early morning tee times. Enjoy!
I always played better when I walked. Mostly because I hit the ball straighter and kept out of trouble. I have no idea why. I think the walking kept my mind clear.
Nice video. What do you mean when you said it’s going to the right because you are swinging so slow? Do you mean your upper body rotation is too slow compared to your lower body?
When I first started playing... If you shot an 8, you picked up your ball, wrote '8', and circled it. Sometimes my scorecard looked like a raccoon's nest. 🎱🎱🎱
Gen, when did you change your putting grip to the cross over? I noticed it in this video, checked your August and July vids and saw your traditional grip. Why? Putting and Chipping seemed to be your most consistent weapons.
Not a big fan of the putting grip. Seems like it is more work for you. Welcome to California! If you're up in NorCal we have some nice courses. Just saying...
I'm just gonna be honest with you..i started watching your videos only because of your short game and damn your putting..Now i realised you change your grip??your puttimg seems to change from good to not good according to me..this is my opinion only..not sure about you..lol..cheers
