ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RU-vid and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

I know I am 2 months late to this video but I am on my path to Break 90. Your instructional videos are the primary reason I am able to do so. I will admit I do not practice enough (I am working on that), but in the last 12 months I went from a baseline of a 36.4 handicap to a 21.9. At 57 years old, because of the positive encouragement you provide along with easy to use drills and instructions, I expect to be closer to a 14 handicap by the time I am 58. The key I have found is to keep it simple. Work on one aspect at a time until I improve on the course then change to the next item to improve, keep mixing it up with incremental improvements over the entire game. Next, be honest with myself on the course. No foot wedge improved lies, no mulligans. Finally, since I am not being paid to play golf and instead am paying, I MUST have fun! The Serenity of a quiet golf course, the camaraderie of friends having fun on the course, and letting myself be a “kid” again makes it fun. Thank you so much. Glad you are blessed to be able to play rounds with your dad! That’s awesome.

I am delighted your lovely dad is going to get a full set of custom fitted golf clubs. I hope in a future video you will explain the choice of clubs so other senior golfers will get an insight of the type of clubs that are suitable for a senior golfer. I have 3 fairway woods & 3 hybrids rather than many irons. I will enter your draw to try & win a custom fit set but I realise that there will be many subscribers putting their names on the list. The video highlighted how you can save many shots by using your brain & common sense. The putting tips will probably save the most number of shots in a round as they can be used for every hole. Danyy, really loved that lesson where you were the Cowan student. Made me feel better about my game watching you struggle trying to get the feel of a new stroke. Kept at it and your short game tips are knocking several strokes off my game. Thanks for your weekly inspiration. Would love the opportunity to get custom fitted.

These are the videos I like watching the best, when you play/coach your dad. I can relate to the bad shots he hits and like to see how you correct him👍 Kudos on getting up and down from the road hole bunker too

Super video Danny, thank you, and thank you to your Dad. I always enjoy the clips involving your Father because I find them very relatable. Of the tips you shared today, I’ll make sure I focus on employing tips 1 and 8 when I play this afternoon.

Hi Danny. Always a pleasure to see you enjoying your golf with your dad. Taking the golf out for just a minute, the love you have for your dad is truly something special and I know it is returned to you 10 fold. At this point I'll be honest and tell you that I was emotional too when you surprised your dad with the Callaway custom fit set of clubs. Great Gesture from Callaway and St Andrews. Great tips as always too. Have a great weekend to you both

Great video Danny, stoked for the experience you and your dad got to share around a course I’ve visited on multiple occasions but never been fortunate enough to play. The advise and tips are both helpful and ones I can relate to unfortunately which is why I struggle to break 90 of late. I’d love the opportunity to be fitted professionally but regardless of wether I get the opportunity or not this video highlights the most important element of life, the dash. We are all born and sadly will all pass, it’s how we fill in the blank (dash) that matters and I’m sure filming this video with your dad will live with you forever..

The tip on not taking rescue or hybrid from the rough or poor lies has been the best for me. You assume these are the clubs to get you back in play. I now trust the PW or 9 is the sensible and safe option. Great to have these family connections on the golf course. I was introduced to golf by my Grandad, who’s sadly no longer with me, I’m still using his bag and some of his equipment for sentimental reasons and so he’s with me around the courses I play.

…again Danny another great lesson….working with your Dad on the golf course you gave a real insight as to where we go wrong such as ‘don’t follow a poor shot with a poor decision’…and don’t move your head on the putts …the content was spot on including the up and down hill lies…excellent as always thank you…

So easy and pleasant to listen to you teach. So much fun as well, after every video I feel like I can make the changes to my my golf . But I have found also is there is no substitute for spending time on the course, no quick fix. The principles and “secrets” lies in the hard work. Thank you Danny for making me want to do it and try harder!!

Danny this video is inspirational and so uplifting! I have tears in my eyes watching you and your dad play a round together. You both have such respect and obvious love for each other and your tips to save shots are pure gold. My best take away message today is "dont make up stories in your head" - like this is going to be another bad round after hitting one poor shot". "STAY IN THE GAME, TAKE IT ONE SHOT AT A TIME AND BE PATIENT" . Brilliant advice as always, Danny. Huge gratitude for all your free content. You are simply the BEST golf instructor out there. 🙏
