not the worst timeline tbh, the fact that we're getting Hayden back in his Anakin getup with fans cheering for him is a proof that the force is with us
Well, the thing is, at the time of the Prequels, he was hated for his acting. People thought he was too "wooden." He got two Razzies for both of the times he played Anakin.
Hearing Hayden Christensen say Ventress' name just felt so good as a Clone Wars fan. One of his recurring foes both in Legends and Disney during the war
Anakin did not fall because of his attachment. He fell because of the Jedi detachment. It's their refusal to accept dentiwnt nature and to teach children to be emotionally healthy that was the problem.
@@SchultzDorinda People like to forget the whole original series is about love and attachments, only reason palp got thrown off a bridge was because Luke loved his dad, a attachment, with Vader loving Luke, a attachment.
I know right? I dislike how TCW somewhat made him into a typical action hero. But I do like how they portrayed him as a genuinely good mentor figure. (Mostly) emotionally available, towards Ahsoka anyways, taught her great many things, and wanted her to succeed
@@yachiyous9110In the TCW Anakin was one of the greates jedi(know as the hero with no fear) , in the show it shows he is actually a great master(even in the episode where Ahsoka is capture he thanks Anakin because without her training she would not have survive)
@@ddm62571definitely closer to perfect than it is to not at all perfect. I think that was a bandwagon comment. Scared some idiot would criticize them for liking the show. 🙄 The show is very good.
It's so cool to hear Hayden mention Asajj seeing as she was a character originally written for Attack of the Clones but was cut. Who would've thought that 21 years later he'd reprise the role and talk about her!
I think Qui Gon and Luke are the best. Anakin was definitely a better teacher than Obi Wan at the time. When Ahsoka was falsely accused of a crime. Obi Wan put bare minimum effort in helping Ahsoka and gave into BS politics. Anakin put his heart and soul into proving Ahsoka innocent.
It probably wasn`t lost. The clones captured and gave the library to Palpatine. He later turned the Jedi temple into his personal palace. I`m guessing that`s where the library was restored. There or on his other palace on the same planet. I doubt he kept it at the Death Star.
@@cowboybeboop9420Canonicaly the ISB filtered and destroyed the vast majority of Jedi related knowledge from the Archives a few years after the Temple fell.
@@patrickwaldeck6681ok, but most of the knowledge limited to force users is locked in holocrons which can only be opened by said Jedi, since sith can't open them did they destroy the holocrons or just lock them up
“I won’t always be there to look out for you.” 😢❤ This is so Anakin. His compassion and “attachment” is not what doomed him, it’s what saved him in the end when Luke reached out for his father.
"General Grievous, Assaj Ventress...even count dooku" i dont know why, but hearing this from hayden just makes it all more real to me... Hayden christensen is anakin skywalker. Just how he walks is iconic. He will always be the true chosen one. He not only adapted to the times, but to the lore he wasnt apart of. Quite the remarkable man.
@@victorpradha9946 Redemption implies that he did something wrong, and he didn't. It was the toxic part of the fanbase and the writing. People just came to their senses when it came to Hayden, and what he was truly capable of doing with his talent. But redeeming himself? No He didn't redeem himself because he didn't need to.
@@HunterJumper-ow2oo IMO the acting and the dialogue in E2 Attack of the Clones was laughably bad. It was marginally better in E3 Revenge of the Sith, Hayden did a better job being conflicted and being lured by Palpatine. He's now in the post trilogy realm showing greater depth of emotional presentation and there's nuance where previously it was very one-dimensional. The writing is better too.
@@victorpradha9946Anakin's behaviour made sense in episode 2 to show how the Jedi order made him secluded from other people, you can still think it's bad but that was the purpose Lucas was intending.
@@Ajar37 she could still be alive. Its like how the Ashoka novel's canon was altered. She has the chance to return and continue her story. But for now that book is the canon, but can be changed so she technically isn't dead just yet. She is but isnt 😂 She is in her grave right now but can be risen if anyone at lucasfilm decides too. Shes basically halfway dead. 😂
I need a chapter, tv special, or blue ray with just Anakin’s recordings with a post credit scene where Luke, Leia and Ashoka are, like us, just finish watching them.
@asm7406 no, that's how his character anakin skywalker talked to his superiors. Clearly when talking to his padawan he takes on a more authoritive voice
I truly felt we saw the Clone Wars Anakin as well as the Anakin we know. As someone who grew up with the Prequels and the Clone Wars, seeing him wear the armour brought a big smile on my face and hearing him say Ventress, Greivous and Dooku, which sort of mirrors Clone Wars as Ahsoka faced Grievous and Ventress in the Clone Wars, but never faced Dooku. Anakin truly was a great teacher to Ahsoka and of course, Hayden portrays that amazingly!
Honestly, I won’t say he’s the greatest actor ever, but I can’t imagine anyone else playing anakin (in live action). His character has aged like wine and it’s amazing to see him in the clone wars armour.
He’s grown on me as Anakin. I didn’t like him in the prequels. But here he fits that Clone Wars Anakin vibe perfectly. It shows it wasn’t his fault he got blamed so much as Anakin in the prequels but more of the script. It’s kinda the Andrew Garfield issue in Spider-Man. Not the actor fault but the script
Witnessing Anakin, a master, training his students in the art of combat and the sacred dance of survival is truly awe-inspiring. It's more than skill; it's the wisdom of a seasoned warrior being passed down. The intricate choreography of every move, the strategic insights shared like precious gems, and the emphasis on situational awareness paint a canvas where the brushstrokes are lessons, and the palette is the battlefield. In these moments, a student learns not just the art of not dying but the profound mastery of living through the chaos of war. It's a testament to the bond between teacher and pupil, a legacy of resilience, and a tribute to the enduring spirit of warriors. May these lessons echo through the ages, ensuring that every student carries forth the wisdom to navigate the battlefield and emerge victorious and alive.
He actually is a decent actor. I’ve seen him in other movies. When I watched Star Wars I knew it was the script and what the director was telling Hayden how to act. It was painfully obvious 😂

@@frantisekbabic9683this type of scene is definitely a possibility though. Luke, Ashoka, Han, Chewy, Leia, Mando and Grogu are all gonna be present in the Thrawn film, having Luke and Ashoka connect with his force ghost at the end would be a perfect ending
something really cool that i just noticed is that the soundtrack possibly incorporates NASA’s Quindar Tones, the tones that signify a beginning and end of a transmission
Ahsoka is worshipping a psychopath. She pretends that the whole Vader things didn’t happen. Lol. At least with Rey she is respecting Luke and Leia. And would you want to be associated with Space Hitler.
@@malchalatiyou clearly haven’t watched Rebels or Ahsoka or you would know that she blames herself for his fall to the dark side (and his teaching her that it was not her fault)
I like how they dropped the Asajj Ventress nod from Anakin in this. Obviously she wasn't part of the PT, but her character was introduced in TCW and had been around at the time, so it's nice to hear Hayden's Anakin talking about her.
I won't lie. All those moments with Anakin at this show, all those mentions about him... A good man, corrupted by power-hungry tyrant, who helped to build an Empire of fear and slavery, who at the end of his life understood his mistakes and was able to fix them in some way by killing Palpatine, only because he discovered all this time had a family, about he always dreamt of.
That’s my main problem with Star Wars. Ever since 1983, Luke’s character has never talked to anakin’s force ghost about his past or how good Obi wan was. It has to happen in the mando film
Anakin's so called flaw of "attachment" is what saved Ashoka from order 66. If he wasn't so concerned for her safety or care nearly as much as he did she wouldn't have survived.
I honestly thought the clone wars anakin never looked like Hayden Christensen. Now seeing him wearing the clone wars armor makes me believe it a little more
Wow even Ahsoka came to get terms with it and it's good Anakin Skywalker did some training to finish ahsoka's training and talk some sense out of her because we all knew in Star Wars Rebels when she realized Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker And She was completely haunted for life
Think you were referring to a scene in Rebels Season 2, in which Ahsoka shows Ezra one of those recordings Anakin made (different from this one) while talking about him.
I just watched the end of s3 of the clone wars, and she in fact did get separated. Working my way through TCW to get to these more recent star wars stuff
It is obvious that she did not learn real fencing-lessons. It is a bit sad how far it has fallen, in the old movies, they actually studied combattraining.

@frantisekbabic9683 true, but if it is a limited series, then they would only need to spend a couple months filming it and release it. It just would be nice to get some sort of clone wars live action since Anakin and Obi wan were the best
@@superjumpbros64 I mean I absolutely agree without you. I would love some clone wars action too, even without Jedis, imagine 12 episodes series about one Clone squad
