Anakin vs Ahsoka, The Final Training Lesson. Ahsoka Episode 5 Spoilers

Bro this is just so freaking cool!!! To see Hayden as Clone Wars Anakin interacting with a live action teen Ahsoka is amazing!

I think this is the closest we’ll get to a whole Vader. He still has the dominating aggressive fighting style but with so much more speed and agility in his movements. Really shows the impact that life support suit had on him, and how much it was truly restricting his motions.

My man Hayden still as masterful as ever with a saber. Also his acting was amazing!!! Props to him and even the actress for young Ahsoka both of them did wonderful jobs. Last thing, ahhh seeing a live action Rex made me beyond happy. Favorite episode so far.

I don’t feel like this will be the last we see anakin in the show. Probably won’t get any more fights with him but I’m sure we’ll see his force ghost.

To see anakin with a red lightsaber and fighting like he fought in ep 3 made me shad a tear

Let's not forget to give thanks to the Star Wars Directors and Cast’s for bringing back the *reunion of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano.* Plus the *Geniuses* who did the flashback of their *first mission and parting ways* on the last battle.

Loving the themes of Anakin based on the decision she makes (living or dying). Living = Anakin, dying = sucuumbing to Vader - Ahsoka has to choose. Does she live and try to be like Anakin, but better, or does she live with her guilt and die like Anakin when Vader is born? The switchback between Darth Vader in suit and regular Anakin is just telling her "Choose, live and be like Anakin, or die and be like Vader." Dave Filoni really missed out on incorporating duel of fates into this fight fully as that would have been perfect. Ahsoka's duel of fate is to accept her past or let it consume her, like Anakin/Vader before her.

You forget how much of a Beast Anakin is. The way he uses Djiem-so really reminds of Agrippa and Strohein sword play. He leverages power at any angle. He would've wiped the floor with Baylan...

I like how in 3:55, Anakin thinks Ahsoka understands the lesson. He's teaching her she's much more than her past - even though she's part of a legacy, she can continue living past the guilt and trauma of the past if she so choose. Ahsoka chooses not too, and throws Anakin his own past. At 4:17 you can see him going, "Sounds like I'm gonna have to teach her the hard way."

Seeing Hayden fight with Rosario here looks so funny to me, Hayden knows exactly what he's doing and its like riding a bicycle, but Rosario still looks kinda stiff to me.

Anakin Skywalker has taken on his Chosen One destiny and now watches over the World Between Worlds as the new Mortis God or Celestial...in my opinion.

Hayden Christensen truly deserves an absolute honor and his own show within the SW universe. He is doing an amazing and incredible job. His acting is brilliant and sharp from episode to episode and has huge potential. That's definitely his nature-born role.

Anakin's Jedi strikes were precise and measured, while the "Vader" Anakin lightsaber strikes were powerful, aggressive, and unrestrained. It perfectly encompasses both parts of his life experience in The Force. Ashoka needed to understand and not fear what Anakin became, not knowing how Luke redeemed him. Because holding herself back, is what Anakin wants her to see is going to kill her unless she embraces all her potential and knowledge he has instilled in her to survive and thrive.

I don’t know what is it. There is this strange feeling watching this. It’s haunting. The most haunting thing is the stillness of the atmosphere during Anakin and Ahsoka talking about “we lost so many” in the first flashback and when the fighting of war starts again. I can’t explain it but it’s so haunting.

Hayden and saberwork god can you name a more iconic thing? The footwork, the strikes, the flourishing, it's like he never put it down. I'm loving how they've blended his prequel kineticism with a more formal refined approach to his strikes

Every time I watch the Ahsoka credits and see Hayden’s name it just really makes me smile. He still has the moves. I feel a great amount of joy for him and the love that fans give him for returning after so many years.

Truly awesome to see Hayden finally get some decent screenwriting and dialogue.

Man seeing them both in live action was awesome. My only gripe is at the very end when Anakin says: "there's hope for you yet". I know this is pedantic but I really feel like the scene could have been made so much better by changing it to: "There's hope for you yet, Snips." Said with a coy smile that Anakin always had with her.

Real life ahsoka is still very slow. Hayen still has it with his speed and fluid foot steps. Funny how he had to slow down so ahsoka can keep up haha

Can we just talk about how awesome that Clone Wars S1-2 armor looks on Anakin? Or how much like his Clone Wars counterpart (the fun Anakin) Hayden Christensen sounds? The man did his TV-watching homework.

As a fan of the clone wars ever since it first started when I was a kid seeing Hayden back as anakin and having screen time with Ashoka and seeing the clone wars in live action again with anakin wearing the armour from the show just wow this is a dream come true and seeing Rex in live action 2 even tho it was just for a second this show has been a 10 out of 10 for me so far thank u Dave

They should have expanded this and made it a whole episode. Every time they kept switching back to Hera and Carson, I was like, "UGH, go back to Snips and Skyguy!"

I can understand Ahsoka fears, because her master (Anakin) lineage was once good but then turned into darkness since he was more powerful than other Jedi's. She thinks that with her knowledge and skills from her master might turn her to the darkside.

Look at the way he moves!! Hayden's genuine athleticism and technique are sorely missing from modern Star Wars. Everything from his movement, saber control to footing looks so clean... He's not only the best in-canon saber fighter but also in real life.

Seriously when Anakin's turns into Vader here, his whole personality also changed. He's using Vader aggresive fighting style, and also using Vader's one liner words. You can almost hear his metallic robotic voice when they returned to the World Between Worlds.

For a second, there at the end, I thought they were going to kiss.

I think the last lesson from Anakin revealed that Ashoka was stuck in the past and that she lived in fear of what Anakin had become in the past vs seeing how he actually ended returning to the light. That fear and pain in addition to war trauma from clone wars led her not want to "fight" and choose to either "live" which is the light/path of a jedi or "death" the path of the dark side, and Anakin last lesson is that you need to choose, face your reality, stop pretending you don't need to choose to live or die. And Ashoka at the end finally choses to "live" the light side, where she had every reason to strike Anakin/Darth Vader down in anger but did not, thus why there is "hope" for her What do you think? any thoughts?

While I do love this duel and story around it, I can't help but notice how SLUGGISH Ahsoka is when compared to Anakin. His saber flows, cutting through air effortlessly, while she moves slowly, without any flourish...

Guys please understand, Anakin was HOLDING BACK. There's too many jump cuts in this video, but the entire fight you can see Anakin overwhelming her and NOT going for obvious kill strikes.

Please Disney. If you EVER dare to make episode X, XI, XII, you must bring hayden back. At the end of Episode IX we can clearly see that Rey is looking for a new path, and only Anakin can guide and mentor a new path for jedi, as master of Balance.

When George was in charge starwars had a soul. All those prequel haters are kicking themselves right now. Ive seen so many prequel apologists over the last few years come out and wish for lucas to return blah blah blah and saying how sorry they are. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach. These "fans" who claimed george ruined their childhood are full of sh*t! He created mine! I understand the prequels have some issues looking back at them as an adult who grew up loving them. But i never trusted disney from day 1 since george sold out to the devil mouse. So many people are saying that the sequels will be appreciated just as the prequels were over time. I wanna slap sense into those fools heads for that bs. George created the prequels as an extension to HIS story the way HE wanted to tell it. He had all the right to do so. Then filoni came in and damage controlled when he created the clone wars to "fix the prequels". But they did NOT need fixing! Im so f*cking sick of this narrative! These so called fans of starwars made Lucas's time miserable while he was in charge. Especially with that whole "people vs george Lucas" documentary they released. That documentary was just an open invitation to trash george himself. It makes me sick. Kathleen Kennedy has killed starwars with ONE sentence. "The force is female". And saying they dont owe the fans anything among other bullsh*t statements. This was stated back when disney acquired the rights. Id argue starwars has been dying a slow death since 2012-2013. The sequels and Solo film, were the killing blow. Anything after that is just defiling its corpse. STARWARS IS DEAD!!!The show was average. people gotta stop painting dave as the savior of starwars. What was the lesson he gives her here? Just to want to live? I don't get it. Ahsoka is already more wise, measured and masterful than Anakin ever became. Anakin is basically the poster child for young men who are dangerous to others because they can't process their feelings well. Low EI quotient. Probably an unpopular opinion but I have never seen him as having wisdom like, at all. Just whirlwind impulses and great power to act on them. That's Anakin in a nutshell.

This is the exact same thing that happened in the Maul fight on Mandalore. Maul & Anakin/Vader disarm her of both her lightsabers & right after they rightfully win the duel & are about to kill her she does some bullshit move to somehow turn the tables. So frustrating
