I have been having this over four months, the pain is just unexplainable.... literally when I go to poo i can't do it quite anymore,i Scream coz of the pain ....it's so bad 😔
@@scope-it7714 very sorry to hear, i totally understand...use "movicol" as a stool softener it is a game changer ,and use her technique when it comes to position yourself while pooing....use it until six months to one year consistently ...the fissure will start healing and by movicol it will help your stool passage soft as if you are diarrhea and you don't wipe by hard tissue after your done ,i always used and i am still soaking my tissue paper a little bit with drops of water then wipe my ass Hope it will work for you
You have no idea how many people you are helping out there. Your videos tackle subjects that most people shy away from discussing and end up suffering alone. Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into these videos and keep up the good work.
I struggle with Anal Fissures from time to time. always acute and something I never used to worry about. Recently I developed one where it would not go away for more than 2 weeks, and was beginning to make me anxious because it was actually getting worse too. Following a few of these simple steps, especially the one about emptying your stool properly by leaning forward and deep breathing solved my issue instantly. Within 6/7 days I have no blood or pain anymore. The pain went from a 6/7 to a 1/2 instantly. I do feel like because I’ve thought about my sphincter muscles and got worried over the anal fissure that my butt is somewhat tense and the muscles around them are too. But generally speaking all the advice here is ace and has really helped me. Thank you.
1 week without blood and pain now.. Tried so many things but those 4 were the key for me: - bowel routine (1x a day at same time, more will interrupt the healing process and less will harden the stool) - high fiber/healthy nutrition/+ lots of water - self discipline/ + relaxing - hygene (clean always after bowel only with warm water in the shower) I wish you guys the best! Just never give up!
@Zeitlost Thank you for sharing your experience and tips! It's great to hear that you were able to find relief from your symptoms. Consistency with bowel routine, healthy nutrition, self-discipline, relaxation, and hygiene are all important factors in the healing process. Keep up the good work and continue to take care of yourself! All the best for your recovery 🙏 💖
@@harshams8624 no it needs time , it is like a big cut , and will heal like a cut with first closing the cut , then it becoming dry , then it replacing with new tissue , then finally healing. this process takes minimum 1-2 weeks minimum . imagine it like you got cut on your finger by a knife
Pain was at a solid 10 but with this technique it was at like a 3, i kid you not Day 2: nothing but a minor pinch during the bowel movement, though I still need to work on the consistency as it’s a tad runny. What is this sorcery! 😅
Oh my God, I am typing this comment while I'm at the toilet, I just did your technique and somehow two things were great ; my stool was soft, and it didn't really gave me pain. I have been fearing to poop as I researched a lot about this, so I really want to thank you with that ma'am! And yes I think I got the type 4 stool. Taking a 20 minute warm bath yesterday is definitely worth doing! Again, much love to you.
I've been suffering from a fissure for 2 months now and the pain has gotten a bit worse recently. No blood when having bowel movements as long as I take miralax. I'm 99 percent sure the fissure doesn't heal because I keep straining. I hope the technique helps because this pain is starting to affect my mental health.
I’m sure excessive straining gave me the problem I have today. It feels really sharp when I try to pass stool And afterwards it’s like a burning Sensation I used to love going for a number two Now I hate it
Use a laxative and drink plenty of water. I had a fissure for 4 years and I finally got it fixed with meds and eventually surgery. Also, try just not pushing when you do #2, I use a stool for my feet and just relax until it comes out on its own.
I'd suffered from anal fissure severely for nearly a month but now I'm completely healed. Just wanna share some tips that I did to overcome this journey. (1) Don't be afraid of bowel movement. I know it's scary for us whenever we have to go to the toilet. But we have to do this even if it's painful otherwise constipation can happen. (2) Drink lots of water and eat plenty of fruits to add fiber to your diet. If you can't, use stool softener to make the stool softer and easier to pass. Also, stool softeners are safe to take everyday. And again, don't forget to poop everyday. That is the most important. (3) Sit in a bathtub filled with warm water after you've pooped to reduce the pain. If you do these three things, you'll be completely healed in a matter of time. Believe me. You just have to be patient and trust the process. Wish everyone good luck.
Idk,it gets proper for like 1 week, and then 1 day of bad poop fucks it up again.and blood again😭. Getting tired of this, because it has just completely changed my life.
Simple physics - Why you and 1 out of every 5 people who will actually disclose this to health care proffessionals. About their discomfortable, irritating and self embarrassing anal fissure from what someone else might think of just how you got that condition. Allow me to shed some light though... It just may not be your fualt but everyones problem. You see how deep of a study has really went into the engineering design and physics of a toilet. It is not exactly something that passions the mind to want to do. And just the basics of the toilet solves the relief in the moment so why would anybody give much thought let alone deep thought to a toilet. That of course unless you have been dealing with an anal fissure condition for over 17 years. And in these 17 years I have went back and forth to the internet for updates and gathered a compound knowledge of not only the information found but my own experiences through out the years. With a passion for engineering this realization hit me one day after reading more medical health issues about the topic. It is this that I read " Anal fissures usually frature the skin at 6 and 12 oclock. Confirmed by my own personal experiences found accurate. Facing forward front and the the opposite rear back towards the spine of the anal opening. Exactly where the good lord split you. NOW... go take a look at your toilet and toilet seat. Okay study it carefully and deeply. Is not it or most elongated in the same direction of 6 and 12 O'clock, am I not correct? This simple engineering may not only help you but also be the design that hurt you. Be it helpful or comfortable in the moment but just maybe the culprit that is hurting millions of people making our lives miserable in the long term. Ever wonder why there's so many frustrated and unhappy people. These designs forces or exagerates the spreading of the cheeks to just the degree that it only can take one days bathroom trip dealing with a complicated movement weather explosive or passing an overly unbearable solid to end your happy days both mentally and physically. Like me, who else uses the toilet to its fullest capacity to stretch their cheeks has far as possible. Who in their right mind likes getting shit on their cheeks anyway right! kind of makes common sense mentally not having a bigger mess to clean after and at the same time save a little toilet paper. And you will never be the wiser or think differently why you keep dealing with this issue perhaps for a life time. Your body if not extremely healthy in self healing and repair in one of the most delicate and dirty areas of the body. And just how many different types and designs of toilets do you use? Just how many times to often do you need to eliminate waste? Once a day at least you exaggerate and suspending this condition from ever properly healing? So, Do yourself a favor if you have this condition and especially if you are older and may find it continually getting harder for your body to heal. STOP using your toilet for a month, 2, 3, 4 months if need be or just maybe how ever long you desire. Find a special spot to squat or other best more natural idea or method you can come up with that is comfortable and go for it! Come to think of my younger years visit to asia I remember using toilets level with the floor where there was no option but to squat... Hmmm... Perhaps to get by try carefully standing on your toilet rim if you can fear not breaking it and squat. NOW: for an update - for me its been about 2 months and I proudly tell you and say it feels about 85 -95 % HEALED! MY great God my life is changing and has changed. I added a little remedy that helped quicken the healing process. I offer a recommendation of shaving because hairs can pull, be dirty for healing and exacerbate the healing process. And also be abrasive when using toilet paper. Next try to just dab or pat your most sensitive brown eye. Then using water and your hand just gently wash rince the rest off. No worry by this point you know you and everyone else who has this problem has explored this problem has had their head so far up their ass figuring it out that whats on your hands at this point does not even matter... rest assured. The result is worth the resolve!! Okay once done with the cold douche, warm douche what ever way you prefer your going to want to hold on because this next recommendation is a real clencher. GET your self a spray bottle and you are going to fill it up with Apple Cider Vinegar... Thats right ACV and your going to commit to the sprits. Just be bold, go ahead, shy not! Just spray it, spray your brown eye shut. Try your best to relax and open it up good before it siezes well up past your liver!! OKAY... after this take a deap breather. The next and final recommendation you are going to love, but not to much. We are trying to cure and heal you not excite and overstimulate your erogenous temptations. If it happens it happens but probably not starting out in your primary condition or painful suffering you are in now. But as you heal you want to just take it slow and calm and remember you are there for a purpose to heal, not exploit your Lady or Man hole. OKAY, that said I probably should have started all this off with all the preprep materials you will need to be successful, but if you are real serious I know you will figure it out. Alright so lastly you want to get yourself some "VIRGIN Coconut Oil" and Latex rubber gloves to aid with a slight penetration, not too deep. (you may wonder why gloves?, Right) I have found that even though I have really nice fingers for a guy that is, and well groomed nails that I still have skin cuticles or even sharp pointy edges on the side of my nails that I may not notice or be aware of. You want to alleviate any potential risks of further damage in this critical process and delicate tissues. DAB and apply to any two middle fingers, then apply and massage very gently. In time even if you are an extreme exit only guy like me you will fine your shooting around the rim as if you were awaiting at the Pearly Gates of sensation heaven just enjoying the outter court yard. Just try best not to let your fingers run arround so pleasured that they start tearing up delicate landscape like tremoring tectonic plates shifting the world. Trust me it will happen and hopefully your fingers will cramp up long before you do any real damage! Alright that is it. We should start seeing a happier world in a short couple of months. Stay consistant, stay disciplined and strong. Now if you also know someone dealing with this issue. Remember 1 in 5 who actually confess which is a pretty high number in itself already. Pass this on... Let them know and lets all live healthier happy lives. Signed the Lord has blessed this message!!
This posture helped me with relieving my bowels within a matter of minutes, struggling from fissure from a month especially initial part of bowel caused immense pain. This technique is excellent. Thanks a lot for this video. god bless you all suffering from this and hope you find relief and joy soon 😊
Not sure if this will help anyone but I found lubrication has been a complete life changer for me. I tried everything. The only thing that helped was taking a glove and using… in my case coconut oil and olive oil mixed together. It’s extreme oiliness has helped stool pass easily. Take a glove and carefully lubricate as best as you can..very generously. Hope this helps. Coconut oil helps with healing as well as olive oil. Within a couple days I was feeling completely better. It helped the fissure heal.. I’d say do this for a while whenever you’re going to poop and/or 2x a day everyday until fully feeling comfortable. This changed my life. I was in excruciating pain for 3 months!
@@danielcad23of course. I actually have witch hazel hemorrhoid salve that I use. That should be safe for long term use but check with your doctor as witch hazel is an astringent and may constrict blood vessels in the area (would not promote healing of the fissure and may weaken sphincter walls after long term excessive vasoconstriction). Insert 3/4 in inside the rectum and that is all.
Drink more water buttermilk add shallots green leafy veggies fruits in your diet avoid chicken crab bread spicy and processed foods you can see results...
I do wish to say to people: if it does not heal, go see a doctor and don't let him send you off with nothing. Sometimes it doesn't heal by itself. All I got for 3 yrs was lidocaine for the pain. But if I'd gone to the loo I couldn't sit anymore for the rest of the day while I had back problems AND a toddler and baby to tend to. I was close to passing out from pain each time I had to go to the toilet. If it's that bad for you, don't take chit from your GP. I think it's underestimated how awful this is. Finally I had surgery and I've been fine since. But I walked around with it for 3 yrs, even though I did go to my GP several times. In hospital was another woman with the same thing. Her doctor had made her suffer for 11 years!!! So if it does not heal with these excellent tips, go see your doctor and don't leave until you got a hospital appointment for surgery. It's 15 mins op only and you're sorted!!
same! misdiagnosed for 3 years. Finally begged to see a colorectal surgeon and she diagnosed me within minutes. Got the LIS a year ago - unfortunately it's returned :( Back to the surgeon I go. Pain in the @ss most literally
@@supadupachicafly I make sure my bowel movement is good by eating the right things. Fruits for sure, but some aren't great and have the adverse effect. Like pears. Trial and error. I found out that eating 1 apple a day did the trick for me. Did that for years even though I am not keen on apples. Now I take other fruit, kiwi, cherries (in season), mango. These all work really well (for me). Mango esp. seems brilliant to keep things going! I eat half a day as they're not cheap. Grapes work too. If I don't eat fruit for 1-2 days constipation sets in. But... I've never had the fissure come back, and I had the op 29 yrs ago now. Fingers crossed!! And don't eat too much of things that can cause constipation, like potatoes. If I eat cooked potatoes for 2 days on end it takes a turn for the worse. I stopped eating them on daily basis 10 yrs ago. Occasionally eating cooked potatoes is okay but not daily. Fried potatoes / chips doesn't seem to have that effect, but that's even unhealthier. (potatoes give short and high blood sugar peaks which is VERY unhealthy!) Experiment with diet. It makes all the difference in the world!
Also, I got sachets with fibres & salt from the GP that I can and do use if constipation happens. I had this when menopause started. Apparently motility has to do with hormones as well. And when I quit smoking as nicotine has a stimulating effect on the gut. In spite of my fruit I occasionally got constipation. On such days I take one sachet in a glass of water and half an hour later I can go to the toilet :) That way I can prevent getting trouble again like a fissure. But I only take that when really necessary, I want my gut to do the work itself as much as possible (healthier, right!).
Do they cut sphincter muscle In the surgery? I’ve heard that will cause not to hold your urgencies or you can’t control your gas or poo as you normally do, is it true?
Thank you so much for your help. I’ve been struggling in a great deal of pain, loss of sleep and disturbed eating habits for 4 months now. I was taking 400mg of ibuprofen for nearly 5 weeks but have stopped now. Things seem a little better but there is Still blood during the day. I have always been an active cyclist doing about 3-4 thousand miles a year. This has been devastating to me as I cannot ride my bike and so my fitness levels feel really low. It happened straight out of the blue .
11 years? Did you know that there is a laser procedure that heals the anal fisures completely? Please search for it on RU-vid or Google. A friend had it done after suffering for 1 year like me, and she told me that it works, is painless, and covered by insurance here in the USA. Many blessings ❤❤
In addition to the physio described here by Michelle which is indeed VERY IMPORTANT, here are more crucial crucial tips: After suffering from anal fissures for nearly 2 years here is what I found ACTUALLY helped, by God's grace: Short version: Daily Miralax (everyday!), lots of water, and apply VASELINE to anus and fissure RIGHT BEFORE every bowel movement. Long version: 1) Full cap of Miralax DAILY (don't skip it). This consistently keeps poop SOFT. 2) Lots of water DAILY. Again, this combined with miralax keeps poop SOFT to minimize chance of re-tearing a fissure. 3) RIGHT BEFORE every bowel movement apply VASELINE directly to your entire anus and on your fissure (GENTLY). I use a rubber glove with my pinky and I get the Vaseline a bit inside my anus, on my fissure, and all around. THIS HELPS GREATLY TO MAKE POOP SLIDE OUT INSTEAD OF HAVING FRICTION AGAINST YOUR FISSURE! Look up "pure Vaseline" on Amazon. Doing this EVERY SINGLE TIME RIGHT BEFORE POOPING along with keeping poop soft with Miralax+water has been a God-send and has made my poops so much easier. 4) When pooping try not to strain hard. Push gently and let poop slide out instead of push it out. This makes anus more flexible and less likely to tear and cause fissure again.
This is fascinating. I'm currently recovering from depression and hip issues, and with the SSRI's I found that both my appetite and stool mobility was being affected. I eat plants only, so the fiber and hydration was never the issue. I went from having 2 pleasant BM's per day prior to the meds, to maybe twice a week, if I was lucky. I found myself in a tough position where everything was so backed up, and I just couldn't get my anus to work, because I was freaking out about creating a tear. So, the remedy was...got gloves on, and started scooping (as it was soft..that wasn't the issue after all...just backed up) with my one finger...as that was as far as my terrified body was going to let me; until I was confident enough there wasn't a risk of tear. Then I was able to find a position that worked, and celebrated with several visits to the washroom. It's remarkable how even forcing your body to do something, that feels risky, will create a barrier to relaxing. Great video, and thank you so much for sharing this information. 💌
@@nickroberts534 respect people's lifestyle. If someone is vegan, let him/her be! There are many reasons why someone can get constipated, didn't you read that she already solved the problem and her issue was more due to fear and stress than due to her eating habits???
SSRIs and other psych meds can mess up your gut. We have neurotransmitters in our gut. I’m learning so much. Theses meds messed my stomach and motility etc up so bad. Hope you are feeling better
@@mindpower2824 fear and stress can definitely make it worse for sure. Plus the meds. I know. I’m experiencing both but getting better at these 2 issues… I personally need fiber. And meat. I think we just need to avoid eating a bunch of crap and drink lots of water. I also take Miralax daily and it’s been so helpful.
No doctor could help me the way this video has. I didn't know and wasn't ready to accept that I needed to learn this. Thanks a ton Michelle! Hope everyone finds this video. It is a life changer!

There is also coloxyl for kids, not sure if you've tried the 100% pure pear juice. Also avoid dairy especially the normal milk try lactose free, hope that helped.
@@shawshank6015 the problem with milk is not the lactose, but casein. The worst milk humans can drink is pasteurised cow's milk. Raw milk is very nutritious and healing. Many holistic/functional doctors recommend it... That's why our ancestors didn't have many issues with raw milk... The problem started when the food industry became co*-*rrupt and told us that we had to avoid the good/healthy things and replace them by their over processed products. The same happened with animal products such as butter (ghee is way much better) and tard... They said it was causing "high cholesterol and tryglicerides levels in people" when IN FACT the ones that are responsible for that are SUGAR and carbohydrates (specially the overprocessed ones). They told us we needed to use sunflower oil, canola oil, etc to avoid animal oils, and thanks to that "great idea" most ppl have digestive issues, inflammation all over their body, and cancer... of course, sugar and refined carbohydrates are also responsible. In the past most ppl didn't suffer from high cholesterol or tryglicerides levels neither obesity nor food allergies so it's more than obvious the problem was not the milk, or wheat or unpasteurised foods. Wheat was genetically modified and the nightmare with it started... Whatever organisms that human beings dare to modify genetically are ruined for life! See the wheat, carrots, animals such as the german shepherd, bulldog, pug, etc. Another great reason why the ppl should have never taken experimental mRNA shots, but that's another story...
Here’s my personal method for fissure recovery: I made sure to pass stool once every two days (because if you go everyday you’ll not give it time to heal.) On my “non bowel day”: no fiber, did water fast, eat only fruits and liquid foods to break the fast, and take one pill of stool softener (example is Colace) On my “bowel day”: Eat fiber food and take 1/2 pills of stool softener. Eat Apple. Do cardio to aid digestion of food you eat. Every day, I also applied a fissure healing cream (research and buy one.) Don’t directly touch the sore while applying else it will get irritated.) I hope this comment is able to help at least one person going through this terrible ordeal.
Please can i ask you why you take pill for stool softener duriny the fruits and liquid day ? Isn't the stool be soft when you eat fruits and liquid? Can you please explain
@@lamyanaem2167 Just in case because sometimes it can still come out bulky because of fiber in apples. But don’t use a softener for more than a week though. Do it occasionally.

Of course they make 3000 on the long scope ! I asked the doc what about the short scope -- dont make enough money ,although it detects 75% of cancers? Docs sold us out to Fauci and Gates,WEF

@Emu Khan all the strategies recommended in this video apply, taking particular care to keep the stool soft and avoid constipation and straining during this time. You may like to discuss this with your doctor (I’m a Physio not a doctor). Wishing you all the best 🙏
This may be of help to someone else: After years I noticed that eating nuts and/or seeds (eg sunflower or pumpkin seeds) reopened the fissures every time. I cut these out of my diet, and I rarely have issues now
Things I do to help soften the stool - Plenty of water during the morning and day. At least two pieces of fruit a day. Salads if I can, as a side dish with a meal. Magnesium citrate. Horrible stuff. Good luck ladies and gents
1st attempt at using the beginning techniques, put my pain level from 10 down to well, 2 or 3, hard to say. But I did apply vagisil beforehand because of the burning I tend to get after. But holy crap this is a massive difference. I'll update on my other attempts. 2nd attempt... nothing is passing through for some reason. I don't understand the MMM and OOO thing since nothing goes through unless I strain. Other than that, my pain was reduced to about 7 from what is usually 10, and this was my 3rd poop of the day. 3rd attempt. (4th of the day) Started with an initial pain at the start, but that disappeared and eventually it just became 2/10 pain. 4th attempt. Last I'll post about this. The problem is, I strain so much during the day that it becomes hard to cope with the pain here. It started really painful, the mmm and ooo things are still confusing, don't work even. But the opening with deep breathing and sitting straight really helps. It reduced it from 10 to 7, and the burning was about an 8, which is a big difference still.
Thank you so much.. I eat so much fibres and gets very bad constipation and never understood why.. I also suffer from Anal fissure because of that.. I’ll definitely try your technique.. but can you recommend a pain killer for when I have these episodes.. sometimes it can be so hurtful
@A Ahmed some of the over the counter ointments can assist with the anal pain associated with a fissure. Best to speak with your doctor or pharmacist about the best ointment to give you pain relief, especially after bowel movements. All the best!🙏
Having sorry doctors don’t heal the issue. I have an internal anal fisher. I’ve had mine for approximately 6-7yrs because of the many sorry doctors I have seen. Many just want to be artist or psychologist. I’ve had doctors say it's in my head or their is nothing they can do but draw pictures. I finally saw a surgeon at the beginning of the pandemic. He said I had a fisher and to setup surgery but I turned it down. They wanted to do a Covid test on me which I’m Covid free without any shots etc.
@Everything Videos many thanks for sharing your story on chronic fissure and some of the problems you've encountered. I'm sure this will help others too, all the best to you🙏

Thank you very much, whatever I learnt from this video of yours, it has given a lot of relief to me physically and mentally. You're doing great job ❤️☺️
@vanshika my pleasure! Thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm really so glad that I've been able to help you and I really do appreciate you taking the time to let me know, I'm most grateful indeed. Wishing you all the best for your future health and happiness🙏
Thank you for this video i really appreciate you and all the kind people in the comments dealing with this. I recently had surgery on mine cause it was a fistula and they have a stint in mine rn. Do you by chance have any advice for someone in my position?
@Blackscar94 thank you for commenting. Anal fissure (split in the anal skin) is different to anal fistula (tunnel or connection between the inside of the anus leading to the outside). Unfortunately, I am unable to advise you on your condition. It would be helpful if you can see a pelvic floor physiotherapist or perhaps your surgeon works with a continence nurse who may be able to give you specific advice for managing your condition moving forward. Wishing you all the best for your healing🙏
I had anal fissures for over 2 decades. Even a regular non hard bowel movement would bring me pain and even worse about 4 hours later I would suddenly be in agony which means lying in bed the rest of the day. One day I tried a full cap of miralax each morning and 5 days later my stool was so soft I could feel nothing. This has been going on for 6 months. I can get nausea sometimes and often go half a dozen times per day but the feeling of no pain down there is incredible. If I skip one day of miralax then I regret it. I take it with fit Gatorade and also eat frosted mini wheats with blackberries each morning. I tried prescription meds and everything else with no luck. Who knew miralax would be my miracle.
@@gyanaranjan3268 After a year of miralax I suddenly got another fissure even though my stool was soft. I was eating more fiber then so I cut back. Now I never get fissures but mostly have diarrhea with a few accidents. For me it came down to a choice and I took the road of miralax and light fiber with the constant diarrhea.. just never trust a fart
Thanks for information. This is the most uncomfortable feeling ever, surpassing my sciatica pain and discomfort by far. Just want it to heal so I can feel normal again rather then hiding the agony with a fake smile.
i had anal fissure since 2 months ago now it healed but I feel like sting in anus just for moment then disappear i used nitroglycen cream and diet my surgeon told me you dont need operations
How many times a day did you apply nitroglycen ointment! My gastrointestinal specialist prescribed that to ne too but I apply it once at bedtime. Praying that it will heal my pain and burning. But I came across this video praying it works because all this time I’ve been doing it wrong! Blessings
If your using wet wipes, stop using them!!!! This was causing ALL of my issues in that area, I had no idea. As soon as I gave up the wet wipes, immediately the fissures and pain is 0. Hasn't returned
I had anal fissure before but now it healed already..this technique is similar to what I'm doing but I do sound..only tummy will push out the stool and no pressure on the anal spinchter..then one thing I did to help me heal my fissure was turmeric paste..
Going through reoccuring fissures, 2 days stay healed no pain and for the next 4 day again the pain is there with crack. I dont understand once its healed why it happens again.i am not constipated at all. Dont eat much But why reoccuring fissures? Plz answer how do i totally heal from this?
1. Ebanel Hemorrhoid Treatment ointment. 2. Stopped eating meat for awhile and ate things that created soft stools. (Ezekiel Food for Life cereal, organic oatmeal, lots of hydrating fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and noodles) 3. Using a suppository before going to bathroom. 4. Herbs (stone root, witch hazel) takes these in whatever for is most comfortable. (Powder form or tablets are great for me). This is great!! Take it! 5. Boroline (I haven’t tried this but I have heard this works wonders for anal fissures. I hope this blesses someone. I pray you will be well and healed! These things along with this video can do wonders! Hope this blesses someone. Also, I’m thankful for this video. It definitely helped me. Thank you!!
@vivek jadhav burning sensation is a common problem with a fissure. This symptom does not indicate whether or not you require surgery. Rather it is when a fissure doesn’t heal that surgery may be required and this should be determined after consultation and discussion with your medical specialist.
I have very sharp pain that flares up throughout the day. Sometimes I feel perfectly normal and then all the sudden it would flare up and get so painful. I that a fissure or Hemorrhoids?
@Pooja Lowanshi I’m sorry to read this. Unfortunately, I can’t suggest beyond the general information provided in this video. If you can see a pelvic floor physiotherapist for treatment this may be beneficial and wishing you all the best for recovery. 🙏
I had an anal fissure surgery called a sphinterotomy on September 14 2022, and am back bleeding again. I’m so discouraged and scared. Please advise me.
@Anita Sweet I understand your worry and fear has already been through surgery. It’s best to see your surgeon who can assess your condition and advise you accordingly. Meanwhile, it is very important to avoid straining with bowel emptying and speak with your doctor or pharmacist about appropriate medication to help keep your stool soft. Wishing you all the best! 🙏
Great information, thank you! I found your video while researching hemorrhoid relief. I would love your opinion on manuka honey and red light therapy to help heal anal issues. I used my red light/infrared handheld device and manuka honey on my dog who had an abscessed anal gland and this successfully resolved his abscess. I am now trying this on myself for my hemorrhoids.
I would share my experience. Imo Anal fisure is the most painful. Its makes me havin trauma with eatin food, my mental isnt good like everytime im always worrying about pooping, that u know the pain sure i get and its so depressing. Luckyly my country have much papaya so i can get a good texture.
I eat enough fibre every day, and I poop every day at the same time and soft however, the fissure that was already healing reopens again.... Do you know why that happens? .. I've been suffering from this for almost 3 months already
@@yellowdiamonddoesntapprove6632Yes! 🙌 I healed. I tried several things but what helped me most is to take magnesium oxide twice at day after lunch and dinner. And trying to eat balanced, drinking a lot of water 2 litres per day.
Ive had chronic constipation for 10 years and an on and off fissure for 4.5 years. Recently its become chronic for 6 months and i cant get rid of it. I had the botox 3 days ago and its worse than ever. I just want to die at this point. I cant even get out of bed or sit. I'm calling sick so much at work i'll prob get fired. Pushed my friends away cos i cant go out. It's ruined my life and i dont want to be here anymore. Every day is just pure hell and im terrified of my next toilet session 😭 It just gets worse and worse and i cant take ablnother 10 years of this misery.
hii..I had my surgery before 2 months. some days I have hard stools but not pain associated as if some tickling sensation during the bowel movements. is there something to worry? because I am properly following the diet having minimum of 3 litres water per day. and when should I stop taking the laxative. one day I tried stopping to take the laxative next day I had hard stools. so should I continue laxative syrup or should I stop them. And why sometimes hard stools tickling sensation is felt despite of having proper diet and water intake. kindly revert back for this query it would be much helpful
@Pooja Jayaprakash it’s very important to keep the stool soft after surgery to promote complete healing. If you’re not sure, speak with your surgeon who performed the surgery or your regular doctor.
@DEEPANSHU I'm doing great now, haven't had an issue since. Before the surgery I was dealing with the fissure for over a year, it's been about 5 years since my surgery.
I appreciate your work, but absolutely nothing helps my visions or fistulas and I’ve had it for over a year. I can maybe count 30% of the past year that I have not had excruciating pain. It’s actually so bad that I have to be on hydrocodone. Nothing regulates my bowels. no diet or anti-diarrhea cures my chronic diarrhea. If I do not eat anything, then I can expect to feel better within a 24 to 48 hour fast. Otherwise, as soon as food hits my mouth, and there is material in my anus, the excruciating pain begins. The doctors have checked me for everything and they say I just have IBS. Obviously that’s BS. I know I’m not getting the right nutrition and I’m really starting to feel very poorly. I’m unable to hold a job and barely able to do daily house chores. I never had a straining situation, my Fisher, from having chronic diarrhea.
I am currently going through this issue, tell me one thing, I have sitting job, then what should I do in this scenario? How many hours I need to stand?
I'm confined to a wheelchair and have to get fissure surgery, how am I going to heal sitting or laying down because I can't walk? Someone in my position that's going through what I'm going through please leave me a comment.
@patriciajarrells6502 yes I understand your concern. Your body will heal naturally. It will be important to keep your stool soft post surgery for at least 3 months and I suggest you discuss the best way with your doctor. Alternating sitting and lying down will help relieve pressure too rather than constant sitting. Also alternate your resting position on your back and side lying too if you’re able to. All the best for your surgery!
Dear Michelle , thank you very much for such a helpful video.i had spincterectomy done in june this year . Pain has improved significantly in severely but still comes back now and then , how long it takes to heal this completely
Just want you to know that I’ve been in excruciating pain the past couple days, too embarrassed to talk about it even to a doctor and I genuinely was dreading going to the toilet and this problem was impacting my progress in my weight loss journey as it’s not nice to hold stool and then be doing high intensity work outs Today I was thinking about throwing in the towel, just so I can deal with this embarrassing problem and after watching your video today, I’m genuinely laughing at the pain from this morning and the past couple days Been emptying my bowels without fear and with a more mild painful sensation that got easier to manage the more I understood your advice, and even finished my work out at the gym at full intensity without constantly fearing the worse 🤫 You have to know that of all RU-vid videos this genuinely gave me instant help, relief and very useful information so I genuinely thank you for this video as it genuinely made a difference to my day and my mood ✌🏾 Respect and much love ❤❤
Thank you so much for this video! I had an emergency appendectomy and had (TMI) bad diarrhea for nearly a week after my surgery. That did so much damage back there and I was in severe pain, I couldn't go to the bathroom because it felt like glass was coming out. This method helped me go without straining and hurting myself even more. I also did a few changes to my diet. No carbs, no sugar, and lots of veggies and most importantly tons of water. Avoid sitting for long period of time, that makes things worse. I also got a sitz bath tub and sat 3x a day with warm water and Epsom salt (without fragrance) and I also did cold sitz bath with chamomile tea. Another thing I used was coconut oil and Mom's bottom balm. It's for postpartum, but I HIGHLY recommend it. This will help ease the pain, but I had to be consistent, and in less than a week, I started improving. If you're constipated, please change your diet, take a stool softener and drink prune juice! Hope this helps❤
@theklaacha6822 I'm sorry to hear that you're still experiencing difficulties after your surgery. I hope the techniques shared in the video on anal fissure treatment can provide you with some relief. Wishing you a speedy recovery. 🙏
@Sunny Oforkansi with an anal fissure, the dietary goal is usually to soften the stool and keep it soft but well formed to allow healing to take place which can take a number of months. This video shows you some foods that can help some people soften the stool ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TSRbYpWSTxI.html Psyllium husks are a natural product (used in Metamucil) that can help some people soften the stool too, usually starting at around 1 tsp per day increasing to 2 tsp if tolerated. I hope this helps🙏
Hi mam pls reply😭 I am unmarried, i am struggling with chronic fissure since 1.5 yrs Can i get surgery done before marriage and pregnancy? Will i get fissure again in pregnancy, if i get surgery now ?
I had this problem for about 2 year's from IBS. Do you think your advice will help heal it completely as I don't have trouble with it for weeks and I think its healed, then it tears again in the same place, like its a weakness in the tissue?
Thanks so much for the great video. What do you or anyone recommend for pain after a bowel movement until healed? I mean a cream, a numbing agent, something to apply down there for the first 15mn after the BM which can be excruciating. I don't want anything written "Hemorrhoids" on the tube as that has been tearing me apart and burning and I tried 8 different ones (Prep. H, hydrocortisone, burn me too). I completely changed my diet and withing 4 days have nicely formed and soft stools (#4 in the video). Now until it's healed please someone recommend something to numb a little at least. Thanks again for the video.
@@wocket42 I have been back to normal after healing my fissure but i did not know this product and will try it next time i have mild discomfort. Thank-you! 👍🏻
Doctor I did two surgery’s for anal fissure in last 3 months , after the first surgery I had very tight anus and I couldn’t use the toilet properly which cause me another fissure after one month only of the surgery now I did another anal fissure surgery by using laiser I’m going through a horrible pain after surgery and I started to not have a trust for the doctors in my country can u please advice me if this laiser really can work and heal me again .
same problem to me , after having my 3rd child, I went through so much pain, my fissure not healing, it would taking months, surgry is not possible with new born and joint family system , no one believes and no one trusted me having this pain , ....
@@МагомедРагимов-х6ж from around minute 2 when she explain the best way to go to the bathroom, that ease things a lot and give time for the fissures to repair . That was my experience.
Macrogol is good, I have one and oh it stings! But it feels better than it used to since being on macrogol. This video is miles better than any doctor, they just give you a prescription and that's that. How long do they take to fully heal?
Thank you so much Michelle! This really helped me - I think I'm in a very dark place mentally with this.. As I haven't been able to find sufficient information, could I please ask what type of exercise is recommended for patients with a fissure? Am I still okay to go to my yoga/pilates classes? Anything that should be avoided? The pain had gotten so bad and now I'm scared to do anything.. Thank you!
@nobody yes I understand how this condition can have a negative effect mentally. Walking should be fine to do for most individuals, this can be performed effectively in 2-3x 10 minute intervals/day if a longer walk causes discomfort. Yoga and Pilates classes are so variable it’s difficult for me to comment. Many of Yoga and Pilates exercises are quite appropriate - I would suggest avoiding intense core abdominal exercises, deep squats and exercises involving this position and exercises that make you strain when performing them. Keep the pressure downwards on your pelvic floor manageable by keeping your exercises manageable too. Try to breathe normally during exercise and avoid holding your breath.
Hi thanks so much for your video . Can I ask : - Are fissures area to be kept clean & dry or keep them moist? -Can we apply Vaseline on the fissure area - apply before & after bowel movement ? Appreciate your reply thanks.
You named exactly what I have, except you left out the blood, and sometimes, lots of it. I find that if I use Prep H and Metamucil religiously, things get better. But, as lazy as I am, don't follow well and suffer....
@mike wallace yes exactly I missed out mentioning the bleeding associated with an acute fissure, my error and thanks so much for pointing this out. Keep at it if you can Mike, fissures definitely can heal with perseverance. If the metamucil is working for stool softening then great! All the best to you
@@michellephysio Wow, Michelle, thanks so much for the answer. It's nice to know you take pride in your videos and your followers. I was in Australia back in 1970, I took R and R while in VN. Beautiful country but the people were the best. If I have a smooth bowel movement, there is no pain or blood. When my stool is hard and lumpy, ouch. Constipation is a common thing with me, I fight it all the time.
@@onlyme2262 If I stopped taking Metamucil, their stock would bottom out. I have a horrible time with constipation, I might not have a movement for a week and when I do, ouch........
@@mikee2 psyllium husk is a lot less expensive & exactly the same product in its natural form less the artificial colours & flavours. Add to cereal, stews or mix with yogurt > might save you some $$ Mike. Yes we are a lucky country indeed, so glad you enjoyed your visit. Keep me posted on your success Mike, give it a good 3 months doing the right thing, I’m keen to hear 🤞
