I think they are really close and I actually prefer the lead chanel in the Revolt in this demo. Taking into account the huge difference in price, it's a win for the Revolt.
I've got the two note on my pedalboard and I'd agree - the Marshall/Plexi is the best sound in that pedal. I use the clean, but pretty much never use the Soldano channel.
10:56 on the side, theres a small tone knob which at 100% helps you cranking the Clean channel at lower volumes, this is designed this way to provide tons of headroom

*With the METAL HIGH GAIN TEST, on the Revolt, YOU MUST go into the TWO NOTES and address the EQ, Compression in order to bring the tone closer and tighter to the Iridium in this example. Again those two amps are just not going to be FARE oranges to oranges compare. It should have been done with the BluGuitar Mercury.*

You are running the REVOLT into the POWER AMP SECTION of the IRIDIUM!!* ....Even though the IRIDIUM is a completely different voicing from the REVOLT AND THE MERCURY WAS A BETTER COMPARE, bot units should have went direct into the TWO NOTES CAB, using the power amp and section and cab from the TWO NOTES. No one has an Iridium lying around to run the REVOLT INTO, so its power section is irrelevant in this comparison.
I'm not comparing the poweramp section, that's why I'm using both the preamp into the poweramp of the iridium, cause was impossibe to bypass the poweramp of the iridium. So Both preamp into one poweramp, doesn't matter which power amp, but if you really like to use block letters, it's up to you.
