A quick tour of the analog side of my home studio. This includes ½-inch 8-track analog tape, 18x4x2 analog mixer, synths, drum machines, DI boxes, and how everything is connected and synced.
*Special thanks to Matt Linder of Mood of Space.

Very cool sir! Love all that vintage gear - I need to explore the used market more and real knobs and faders on synths etc will always beat out a mouse IMHO for jamming around.... Quite the setup!

Lexicon MRC... nice. I've owned LXP-1/5 and PCM70 and never owned one of these. You have them modded by Jim Williams? Awesome... my LXP-1 (long sold) was modded by him and really made it useable. Also had my PCM70 modded by him and wow... no more hiss. LOL

My LXP-1 sounds amazing. The LXP-5 is working but it's front algorithm knob is a little finnicky, but otherwise it sounds fantastic. Yeah, they're quieter and cleaner sounding with his mods.

Nice warm sound, you may not need the gear but that 80's sound is nostalgic and not so easy to create on a computer. 😁😁😁

Within the last week I received a Yamaha MC 32/12 I would like to convert it from Analog to Digital, I was looking for a SPDIF and a Snake. Can you point me in the right direction. Thank you. Best Always -HF

Very cool, that's a fully analog board. The board's outputs need to be plugged into your audio interface. The audio interface converts its analog signals to digital signals for recording into your computer's DAW. The bigger your audio interface, the more analog outputs of your board you'll be able to convert at once. For example, the Universal Audio Apollo x8p 16x22. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply Hawk, would that be the same for this YAMAHA 01V Digital Mixing Console that was given to me recently from a friend of mine. Have a Jamming Day. Best Always

@@hisfrequency Yes. Run its outputs to an audio interface's inputs. This can be done via analog or digital connections.
