That's very similar to my setup and I've tested various kv 0802's but they just don't make enough grunt or power for me, that would definitely be a good cruisey setup though
@@CiottiFPV yeah it's not going to have as much power as you want for sure. It's not a complete slouch but you just need to lay on the throttle a bit earlier. The build itself is nothing special, 27g dry, but just an example of how you can get flight efficiency with lower kV that you can't do with motor limiting. @Ciottifpv i cant remember of ot was this stream or a recent previous. You mentioned looking for a 2.5rig. Sub250 have a new 2.5 frame out OasisFly. Seems heavy but running 1404s shouldnt be a prob
Plugged motor starts twitching, but works when plugged in again? It's probably the wires near the plug, it's happened on many/all my plugged motors. And yes I use tweezers to unplug motors, every time
All LiPo's are made from the same 1 or 2 manufacturers and then white labeled, 750 would be way too heavy for the power to weight ratio that I'm looking for, hell even the 550's are too heavy
@@CiottiFPV it has a lot of TPU, maybe that's why it looks like it's heavy by the numbers. My 3.5" with 1804 motors, very light analog VTX and 4S 850 is around 245g. Not sure if it's heavy or not
@@vpr0 oh christ thanks for that reminder, we looked at it on stream a while back and realized that the TPU is what's making it so fat, I wish they made a smaller one for 3" props
