Virginia Roberts and Prince Andrew are in regular contact with each other. This is a game to them. We are the audience. We are being played like fools. They planned this whole thing years ago. Prince Andrew and Virginia are in love and meet up in secret regularly - and I have no problem with that. The problem is they are manipulating the public and the media with this ridiculous story they invented, and the reason I think is because they want to destroy the Royal Family and cause chaos throughout Britain and eventually Europe.
When he said that ‘too honourable’ comment I was in tears laughing for about a minute. Does he have any idea what he sounds like. Those poor girls though. He’s guilty as SIN.
Considering this man has access to the very best of the best PR teams in the world, it does make you wonder why he said so many blatantly ridiculous lies. I heard another commentator suggest that perhaps his privileged upbringing has caused him to have so many "yes" men who will turn a blind eye to his antics rather than call him to account, so that now he really does think he's that convincing and grossly overestimated himself here. And they may well have a point.
"I went there with the sole purpose [to break things off with Epstein]..." a question or two later, "Well, I was doing a number of other things while I was there." So what is it? Sole purpose? Or a number of things?
@@christar9527 That was such a ludicrous statement. But, he knows he has to say it. Even he is aware of how ridiculous it comes across. It is a plausible deniability tactic. He has no other choice but to make that claim.
He probably wanted to speak in person as to not leave any digital/audio proof of their secret convo. He probably pleading Epstein to cover his butt as he knew the story and pics was going to come out.

I agree that he was at least someway cognizant of how that came across with the "appearance" stuff. I think that was a calculated projection due to the fact that he's in fact guilty of sex at Epstein's and needs to cover that up. This is a common thing with liars, for whatever reason they don't want to lie too much, so they think that by not coming across too moral, it will fly better. So he's coming across narcissistic and self-intereted, which we're supposed to judge and believe is the worst of it, which also deflects from judging the real crimes, his sex at Epstein's. It's like a guilty person gives that carrot in the place of the pumpkin, a consolation prize if you will, but a prize that isn't really damaging but can be seen as somewhat benign or just a learned and disciplined institutional persona. I'm not explaining it well but you probably get what I mean. He felt that if he lied too much by sympathizing with victims etc, it would be too much of a lie to swallow, too implausible. So he only came across as moral as he absolutely needed to so we'd feel he was being genuine and not flitering himself. But of course nothing he did worked lol. That was also the whole idea behind saying that he didn't regret his early association with Epstein. Am I right or am I bloody right? lol
Correct - in fact he kind of alluded to this optics management in the interview where his rationale to Epstein for breaking off their friendship was that it "...would be inappropriate to be seen with him..." NOT that he was a convicted sex offender and he didn't want to associate with him anymore.
I love your take. I was so replused by Prince Andrew, it was shocking to me how obvious it was that he was guilty. There was not one thing he said that made it seem like he was at all innocent or even a decent person. thanks

Just think Kathie, he had daughters the ages of these girls when he was abusing them. What kind of person does this, it is just discpicable. I've seen so many analyses of this interview made by many different people ... And yet not one has ever paused the video to point out this Freudian slip. I always read it in a comment section where a viewer points it out but NEVER the maker of the analysis. Not a big deal tho just a funny thing to observe

He seems very aware of a system of values to do with politeness and image. It’s the only thing he ever addresses, even when he’s clearly being asked questions that come from values of concern for other humans- it just doesn’t register. I’m not sure how much that’s about him personally vs. the values of the legacy-super-rich.

Did he mean "what I was accused of doing, I mean what he was accused of doing" neither of which in Andrews mind happened. They would never abuse young girls, he has twisted the truth in his own mind, because it suits him to do that.
I can't remember ever seeing an interview of a man who looked more guilty than Andrew does in this one. It's been reported that this interview was approved by "senior royals." I think it says a lot about how they view themselves - they must simply think they are invincible.

I think he believes Epstein was charged and accepted a plea for being accused of something, not that Epstein was guilty, because Andrew isn't guilty so therefore neither is Epstein.
When I watched this weeks ago I almost had turn it off. He was making me so uncomfortable... Cringed 80% of the time to the point of discomfort. I rarely have that reaction to things I watch....felt a little like watching CWatts news interviews. Why would the royal family let this interview happen? It was a bloodbath.
There's a part of me that has fled and another part that is absolutely delighted by this bloodbath. The ignominious takedown of this evil buffoon is something that we deserve. I just wish that there would more to come. I can't believe that they sacrificed a pawn this large. It shows you how bad it really actually is higher up. Quite terrifying. But not. I think the rapid eye blinking beginning at 15:46 is a red flag that he's telling a lie along with the stuttering. It is when he's talking about not having a recollection of meeting Miss Roberts. I'm not a psychologist, but that body language was a bit off.
Yes, I think it's a red flag too! There's another bit where he does that too, there's an insane amount of blinking at one point, can't remember where but it was so obvious that other time that I didn't bother mentioning it! If I find it I'll note it here.
If he had sex with her three times (and I believe her when she says so) then he probably asked Epstein for her (in particular) again. If he didn't have sex with her his guards probably have logs that could prove that. The royal family might be reluctant to set a precedent for releasing those records, but this has become such a mess for them that some future present should mater less than the present problem.
There’s a supervisor at work who does that toe to head gaze. We call it “The Look”. ie “I got The Look today.” 👀👀👀👀. It’s very snobbish and feels demeaning to be on the receiving end. I recognized it as soon as you pointed it out!

Great analysis as always. Many people have commented that Andrew has two daughters, so surely he would think of Epstein's victims and think of how he would feel if his daughters were among them, or about how he would feel if they had been similarly abused. But as Zoe says, he doesn't appear to think of Epstein's victims (and his own, according to Virginia Roberts-Guiffre) much at all, and whatever he does think of them, he would certainly never see them as having any similarity to his own daughters. Class and rank make Epstein's victims so different to himself and his family, in his mind, that they are barely the same species.

True Crime Loser did a hilarious sarcastic analysis of Andrews interview and even took us on a tour of central park, retracing the steps of Andrew and Epsteins walk and where they were standing when a reporter took a photo of them.
That he wasn’t prepped ahead of time for these obvious and expected questions... really makes you wonder why people of such a stature would chose to have him present to the world as above the law, self centered, unapologetic, untruthful...
If he had been totally unaware of Epstein's goings-on, he'd have been expressing disgust and anger at being used as an important booster of Epstein's status and consequent untouchability. Any decent person, particularly a father of young girls, would have beeen utterly horrified.
Great summary! His lack of self awareness is what is most astonishing, he said that he thought the interview went well! He seems to think that he can out smart the world because of his royal status! He is obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed, his judgment of how well the interview went must have been coloured by his extraordinary level of arrogance.

Sadly in the Royal Family and the circles they move in stuff like this isn't that unusual. They don't view ordinary people as equal to them, or important in any way. They are used to people serving them, and that's it.

He was rumored to be a pervert back before he ever married. He would make his guards run around naked at night with him playing games. Lots of transfers out requested. In his personal life he dated strippers and other non approved women. Suddenly he was engaged to the galumphing Fergie, who was nothing like his elegant stripper types. People said she was cover forced on him for his misdeeds back then. Then he seemed to be a decent dad....and he was no longer in direct line for the throne and interest in him waned. Until all this stuff.
The ‘good’ the Royal Family have done is never outweighed by the damage, cost and historical atrocities that they still benefit from wealth and power from. I wish the British public would wake up to that and grow up as a nation. Living in Britain feels like living within a Narcissistic family structure - with a shared fantasy, delusion and amnesia required to adhere to the society here.
Thank you! A course on recovery from narcissistic abuse would be beneficial to so many. Myself included. I have not long cut contact with my ex (for the second and LAST time) and I would certainly look into how to recover properly. It hurts so much. I know it was wrong in the relationship and I see how it was, but that doesn’t make it easy to accept. On the approach to Christmas it seems harder somehow :( x
I know your pain. You will heal. Forgive yourself first then them. Use the wisdom gained from this to know how to be aware of traits you do not want in a life partner. Always use your intuition. It’s the most valuable sense we have when getting to know somebody.! Love and healing, light and bliss for you!
Christmas doesn't have to be wonderful. Narcissists prey on our weaknesses and faults. Do some nice things for yourself this Christmas. I might write myself a letter telling myself my good points! I will put up decorations for myself to enjoy. Take a gift to someone not expecting it.

He needs to look up the concept of "honorable" since he has totally misunderstood the true meaning. You don't have to be a royal to be an honorable person. The words are not interchangeable.

Normally the royals visiting New York would stay in the consulate which is literally minutes away from Epstein’s house. The consul confirmed he did not stay there at that time. So that demolishes the “convenience” argument.
