Analysis is needed for controversial battles.not obvious ones.even this battle wasn't controversial(in a way yes.i agree with modax that uniteam won before the ot)
Madox has so much work im so grateful that he does a vid every day! Plus it's better than to do it whenever you want because you will have a fire idea if you upload to much the views will fall a lot and it's boring and it's to much work and he will run out of ideas really quick
I actually am curious on your point of view who should’ve won. I personally think there shouldn’t have been an extra round and uniteam should’ve won anyway. That’s only from my perspective
Yeah I think we all know that kotcha didn’t deserve the overtime. Uni team basically slaughtered them on stage and the only reason they got the overtime was for the crowd I guess.
@@zelpirk you’d be surprised how many people thought Kotcha won when the event was live streamed. I think the more those same people watched the battle again, they ended up changing their minds
@@Madoxbeatbox after this I gotta go watch 2018 elims to feel good cause I know how sick the routine actually is.. Goshh I hope they had killed this one.. not even caring about the decision lol
Madox please do a analysis of 2019 gbb elimination ELISII and please tell how was it better than River elimination.....Also keeping in mind the rigged clock in ELISII elimination
@@isohel11 No...it was just musicality and vocal controls elisii had a much better elimination....if River had a better then why is he not on top 10 list....also zekka could also swap with elisii ....its true
There's one thing I want people to note, Kotcha's "Smack These Bitches Up" in their second round was actually a beat reference to Uniteam's GBB Wildcard video.
Something I don't think enough people are talking about is how in this battle pretty much all of Kotchas drops where heavily relied on D-low's inward bass. Huge lack of variety in there drops. Uniteam on the other hand had drops with fast techs, fart bass, Starsky bass and pure craziness. For me that's why uniteam won.
Hey Madox, Always a big fan of your work in all kind of fields! Was wondering wouldn’t it be nice to analyse one of the Spiderhorse vs Madtwinz battle? Anyway, ty for your content and looking forward to see more! Esh!
"The lyrics were repetetive" - isn't that the same for all house music? He wasn't trying to rap, so for me thats the flaw of the genre not the beatboxer
That's why madox said that routine isn't creative. Why copy a boring genre when you can go for a better idea. I know there are a lot of house music there that has more lyrics rather than "Build up, crash down" for like 30 seconds
Unfortunate that Kotcha wasn't on point. Not enough strategy and Frost's timing wasn't at it's best. Much better performance for them in 2018 when "We Got Flow" actually had...flow. Excited to see if they keep Kotcha going after DLOW was solo champ and Frosty won the Covid Loopstation Cup lol
Idk how i was always like *kotcha won surely for me* and madox makes me see more clearly.. now im like *kotcha got destroyed* He surely needs to be a judge
9:40 they changed the time singnature? My thuought was they changed it from like a techno feel to a trap. Cuz it's still a 4/4 time singnature. They changed where the kicks and snares hit but if someone knows pls tell me
12:37 kotcha is countering the uniteam's routine before they perform it maybe cause dlow know that uniteam will use it on second round and they did! 13:21 kotcha is,,, maybe countering alex's call part when alex vs napom on wbc18. dlow telling frosty to do that before they round start
thank you for this. as i said multiple times in comments under the original video and multiple reaction videos this shouldn't have been as close as the votes suggest..and some people even dare to say it was rigged and KOTCHA deserved to win :D just look at their reaction when Scott called an overtime (8:33 in the original video) feels like judges just got pressured by the crowd (mad respect to Jayton)
Wow! Such a strict analysis. I love it! I love the way you put us into the details of judges' decisions from a very professional point of view, because personally i watched that battle about 10 times and the only thing for me why uniteam won was the fail in kotcha overtime round, otherwise i really wouldn't know who was better there! Thank you for your analysis! Thanks to you now i know much better on how to judge battles properly! Many thanks! Keep it up pleasee, you really found the direction and style of your content! ESH!
Please keep doing videos like that you can see i wathed all the video i love u and your not overrated reactions like BBK or others you find out and say not only good things also bad things i support you love from Turkey 🇹🇷🇹🇷💟💟
I still feel the Kotcha "west side" counter round 2 was the best thing they did the whole battle, which is both dope and sad. Also Ball-Zee's phone call counter was REALLY GOOD LMAO STOP 💀 Also the "time signature switches" were actually just phrasing switches all done in the time signature 4/4 still. You can say the tempo doubled and stuff, but it was all 4/4. No shade, though ❤
Great analysis! I like that technical point of view. Would be awesome if you analyse some older, but for some people also controversial battles: Skiller vs Reeps One (2012 BBWC) Ball-Zee vs Alem (2015 BBWC)
at the start of Uniteam's first round Alexinho said "On n'est pas au cirque ici" translates to "We are not at a circus here" Again and Again sick video man!! Keep it up☝️
Yollai hollai hollai hoo hoo yolhai holhai huuu. First round kotcha did some exercise beat. 16:57 that moment alem&alexinho went crazy, I love that part. They destroyed dlow& frosty souls 😅
