I really enjoyed watching this battle it's one of my most favourite battles ever in gbb 2019 and in general. Both these guys brought so much on the stage and it's incredible how talented and skilled they are at this. Big ups to both these guys and Madox as well. Also I would also love to see you analyze not only battles but wildcards, shout-outs and beatbox videos in general like Vocodah's stuff or b-art's stuff. Could be anyone.

Love the videos! Working jazz musician here, Colaps didn’t lose time in the first drop of his first round. It’s laid back in the beat but you can put that whole section to a metronome. Now the last 10 seconds or so was definitely out of time but. Credit is due where it’s due! :)

This series is amazing. Gives really great insight to a noob like me who sometimes questions judges decisions and so on. I totally agreed with this decision at the time mind you, I’m just talking in general that insight is valuable to a non-beatboxer who is just a huge fan like me.

Would just like to point out that this is one of the rare instances that Madox missed something. If you watch when Colaps is doing his weak throat bass D-LOW points to his ear throughout to say "I'm listening", then does the "lightbulb" I have an idea signal to the crowd, tapping his temple. Then at the start of his 2nd round he mimics Colaps' bass but with his inward bass, 20x more powerful.

Ich denke man muss beachten, dass Colaps einer ist, der noch fast im Old School Beatbox seine Heimat hatte. Technische Elemente waren dort wesentlich entscheidender, als die vielen Bass- Elemente des New School Beatbox. Das Scraching ist bei Colaps beeindruckend. Ihm fehlte in der ersten Runde irgendwie die Entschlossenheit seinen Plan umzusetzen. Es waren gute Ideen, aber es fehlte am Feinschliff. D- Low ist wesentlich zerstreuter in seinen Elementen und entfacht ein Feuerwerk, was ihm einfach schon in der ersten Runde einen Vorteil bringt.

ok I'm gonna be coming in again as the non-beatboxer that doesn't know much about technicality personally Colaps' first round was times weaker than his second round, while dlow kept a good tempo and consistency, also I noticed that colaps didn't seem very confident in dlow's second round, but I might be wrong because I'm not sure if it was just him focusing tho I've gotta say colaps' 2nd round sounds amazing, also this has got nothing to do with the fight itself, but in the end the emotions both colaps and dlow showed just melted my heart.. (I'm saying Colaps' first round was weaker than his second but it still sounds amazing, and both colaps and dlow are some of my favorite beatboxers)
