Nabil, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people, having a lot knowledge and experience with Excel. However, not all of them are able to give proper instruction on procedures and methods and some of these videos you have to watch more than once. You are one of the outstanding instructors, your videos are easy to understand and your experience and knowledge in the first few minutes of each video becomes apparent. You make it really easy for the viewer to learn new skills in Excel. Thank you!
hi Nabil thank you for the great video. I'm still new to access but familiar with Excel. Just wondering, how come you did not choose to create a Report in Access with charts and graphs? Why would we need to export the the table to Excel to create these visualizations?
Hi Justin, That's a good question. The answer is: I was delivering a topic for my students at George Brown college in Toronto about the interaction between Access and Excel. Then I came with this example :)
hi Nabil, this has been really helpful. Quick question, and I hope you are still doing these videos... Is there a way you can set it up such that the Excel side of things is automated? For example, keeping an Excel Template ready that automatically will generate the chart off the table that flows through? I'm trying to work out a way that I can present similar style data into an Excel sheet, without the need to manually create all the excel steps once it has been exported from Access. Hope my question makes sense.
Hello Nabil, Thaks in advance, Your video makes difference. I have question about acces couculated fields. How far we can go with formulas? I menan if we can nest multiple iif's, nest iif with an/or, use vlokups, count ifs ect. Can not find info in web with good explanation.
Hi Aleksandrs, Thank you for your encouragement. Yes we do have lots of Functions in Access and you can also nest multiple levels of functions. You can explore the list of Functions available in the expression builder. However Access being a RELATIONAL Database provides a more powerful alternate to VLookups.
Hi Nabil, I am so happy to find your channel. I need some help creating an events seating chart that places individuals at specific tables by number. Can you help with this?
