The repercussions would be monumental in that case. Twitter and their stooges know India and Hindus are an easy target and there is fairly very low risk of significant backlash. Unless the people and government take strong and un-negotiable stands on these lies, it will keep happening. Hurt Twitter where it'd hurt and they'll fall in line.
