nifty and nifty 50 return are zero when market are worst. It is better to go with Multi sset/balanced fund which given better return even in worst market

For most gulf countries and other countries even if TDS deducted for mutual fund capital gains, we can claim refund through double taxation rule by submitting TRC Tax residency certificate from resident abroad country. In gulf no income tax and also we can get refund of mutual funds capital gains taxes.

Demat linked accounts investing into direct schemes has its own problem of redemption especially tata mf I am facing such problem. I have invested online and have accounts in both demat linked snd without with simply eith pan number I have invested in both these in direct funds. Tmf/rta could not redeem my funds In demat linked accounts They ask me to contact my broker The broker bcan redeem regular accounts fund only They couldn't redeem such funds. In online only purchase/ sip links appear and not redemption/ switch I am intending open letter to ratan tata

Mutual fund agents will not tell the truth. He would entice you with sweet words like milk and honey in a short term. They are capable of removing your undergarments while the upper garments are on. Company guys will behave as if they have no responsibility. Good if you have knowledge on the subject. Otherwise better to keep away. Most of the advisors or agents are corrupt to the core.
