RIP, To the memory of Ananda Krishna (Stefan Roosli; 21/09/1970 - 24/09/2014) (my Dutch friend just told me this sad news, I am sorry to hear this so late.)
So sad to know is no longer between us. Peace to is soul. Theres is any way to listen more of him? The cd he offered you is uploaded anywhere? God Bless you for sharing this one🙏
Wonderful music - thanks for sharing it :) I always think it's funny when carnivores say its "nature" to eat meat - when was the last time you ran after a bull and bit its neck killing it with your bare hands and teeth and eating it raw? haha - I used to be a complete carnivore and no you don't actually need much protein thats' patently untrue...you DO have to get enough B12 I have been vegan now 11 years and my bloods always come up absolutely fine, last time I was anaemic I was a carnivore! However, I am pretty easy going and people have their own paths it is not up to me to say and quite often you eat what is offered if you have a spiritual viewpoint ... and I do my best not to judge- I served food to Tibetan monks in my home and was advised to give them meat (I was a carnivore at the time ) so I cooked them some- and they ate it all up ! so y'know... stereotypes are everywhere ... and no one really fits'em :)
Cocospiritsongtree Singer Eh, no sane omnivore claims that meat is completely necessary for protein, or even a healthy life. There are monkeys hunting with spears. Are they not natural? At what point does heated meat become unnatural? Also, I'm assuming you mean omnivore instead of carnivore, as being a true carnivore is very bad for your health. I fully respect your choice to avoid eating meat, but I don't think it's necessary to bring that up here so strongly. This is not meant to start an argument, have a nice day :)
Okey dokey ... lot of insane people out there but hey its all relative... ;) Well you would not think it "necessary"as your remit is different to mine, presumably, and trust me that wasn't particularly "strong" try hanging out with some (not my favourite I will admit) truly militant vegans! The carnivore/omnivore distinction you made is pure pedant-ism- you know what I was referring to. Eat dead animals if that makes you happy, it is none of my business, and monkeys have nothing to do with it! I have had several nice days thanks :) If you feel safer with people that only completely agree with you all the time, that is also your choice. I wonder who is actually sounding a tad defensive here? I hope you have an even better day than me, when I am having lots of nice days to the point that you become incredibly happy and only eat vegetables and fruit :P
+Cocospiritsongtree Singer : Do not forget that we humans are natural born with sharp corner tooth, to cut meet. Never forget your inheritance, where you came from. If we are born this way, it can never be a sin, to kill because you need to eat. So, kill only, because of survival, NOT because of production, sport, or having fun.
I think that having a naturalistic philosophy (sorry if that is not the correct description), doesn't mean that you regret to eat meat, to kill animals to eat, it's what is nature, we are omniborous animals, and we NEED to eat meat, we need those proteins, if you don't eat them, then you got fucked up someday. It's not good to have an excess at meat eating, it's not good to have an excess at vegetables eating either. And by the way, to be clear, I'm not saying that killing other animals in a general purpose it's ok... no, just if you're going to eat it, like the rest of the animals, predators don't hunt just beacause is fun, they hunt to eat.
+Allan Yoltic Godinez That is an incredibly false and a mediocre excuse to kill inocent beigns for something that you DONT NEED. We are not fucking lions! Lions dont go to the supermarket and buy their fucking meat whit lion money. We are not design to eat dead animals. If you eat the desmembered corps of a dead body "you got fucked up someday". And "some day" is pretty early. Paying for the torture and murder of another beign to eat she/he is worse than hunting. If you are so connected with love and trying to make this world a better place, why would you pay for the world to be destroyed? Because thats what you do when you support animal exploitation industrys. Is not good to eat meat (and other animal products) at all!
Ok, you don't need those proteins found in meat if you don't want to be completly healthy, that is a choice, or you can consume proteins as atletes do... The fact is that as we are developed we need those proteins. I do not defend animals killing, and it is a complex issue, because there are a lot of animals that are killed to be sold as food, either you buy it or don't, and people pays everyday for meat, it is a tranformation from thousands of years that started with hunting to get food, it is how capitalism has affected to our way of getting food, maybe is not the best way, but to change it there would be related a lot of factors, and if you do it, I think that you should change a lot of things more than just that.
@@allanyoltic5691 We are tired, almost twenty years after the advent of the 21st century, to still have to answer to anything about eating meat !!! NO, eating meat isn't natural for humans! No, it isn't the nature of the human who was originally vegetarian. The traces of the leaves leave streaks on the teeth of the fossil skulls (7 million years) The diet consisted mainly of plants: leaves, tubers, roots, plus the insects and larvae that were on the leaves (just as for the current great apes) and occasionally small animals because they couldn't catch the big ones! And the breeding is only 10,000 years old !!! You will explain how the human has survived for more than 6 million years without the effective weapons of the Lithic Age (the oldest 500,000 years) and without cooking so since the date of discovery of the fire is very approximate (from 1.2 million years to 35000 years) and variable from one region to another! During all this time we ate... what? !!! ... What allowed the man to do "like" predators with big prey is fire! This allowed digestion. Because try to eat raw meat every day and you will see your intestines! We don't have the same biological characteristics as predators: neither their natural tool (canines) nor their ability to race. So if you want to talk about "natural" when it comes to food we were 95% vegetarian. Since we wash our food and we no longer consume soiled plants, we must supplement ourselves with B12. The current "cattle" today is supplemented with various vitamins in addition to antibiotics. It's very different from the meat of Prehistory, which itself wasn't "natural". Moreover the food was different according to the emigration regions. Neanderthal chose meat because it's difficult to plant salads on permafrost! There is absolutely no danger to health to consume only plants (why do you call them only "vegetables"?! ...). Tubers, cereals, leguminous vegetables, nuts ... are plants! Do you still have the vegan diet that only eats green beans?! ... That makes no sense! As for the "natural philosophy" (this is sophism, antinomy) of the artist in question it's anything but natural since spirituality is opposed to the natural and if you want to speak of philosophy the "naturalism" covers several complex currents. To take the simplest meaning, "naturalism" is a metaphysical notion based on the fact that everything is composed of a universal substance, either materialistic or spiritualistic. So our musician who makes spiritual music while eating meat has absolutely nothing "natural" about it. Both are a human fabrication. In nature the "meat" doesn't exist. There is only flesh and homo sapiens Sapiens has developed meat consumption by chance because he's not biologically constituted to consume.
