So nice to see this dance recently performed by such a gifted dancer. Beside me on my desk is a more than fifty year old notebook where I wrote this dance in pictorial notation shortly after my teachers, the Dhanajayans taught it to me. Small correction: composer is Neelakanda Sivan. He lived through most of the 19th Century. It is the nature of art to change, and the personality of the dancer adds their own embellishments. Beautiful!

Excellent performance Bhavjan. I had composed Natyam for this very beautiful Keerthanam way back in 1990 for one of very young student hardly 12 years for her Arangetram. Ofcourse, Sri.Dhananajayan's natya composition is very good and many are similar to what i had composed after all we belong to the same Kalakshetra bani and the ideas or the thoughts will be the same. Thank you for sharing this beautiful item..
