Very interesting video. We have had the Intellibed Midnight for five years, but it seems to be the same as the one featured here. In any case, I think it was one of the best purchases we have ever made. I had surgery last week, and was really appreciating how comfortable this bed is. We got a split Cal King with adjustable bases, so the retail was quite a bit higher, but we negotiated and $9000 is about what we paid (plus tax and warranty). I would be delighted to save money the next time we buy a bed, but it will have to be as comfortable as this one.
6-8” of organic natural latex is all you need! I’ve spent so much money over the years buying mattresses - including a similarly priced tempurpedic. Took the hit on the the tempur and purchased my 8” Dunlop latex bed for about a quarter of the price and it’s the best mattress I’ve owned.
Fascinating video, thanks. I find it interesting comparing a UK made mattress to the one cut open here. Traditional UK mattress has no latex or foam in its construction. The super king mattress we just purchased contained 2000 pocket springs, horse hair, wool, cashmere, silk and cotton layers. Medium tension. We have found it very comfortable, replacing a hybrid pocket spring/latex/foam mattress. Thanks for the info and keep up the good work
PABLO AND GABE. Could you guys please tell me your pick for a good back sleeper bed. I really just want something I won’t have to return, nectar was not good for me. Need your expertise!
Do you guys sell coils directly to customers? I kinda want I replace my latex core with coils but have heard mixed things about leggett and platt. Which seems like the only one you can buy for diy
Hello, I was wondering if you happen to have an anatomy video of a Tempur-pedic proADAPT medium mattress? We purchased one and we would like to know what it is that we are sleeping on? Thank you!
Do you believe the Intellibed Indigo would be a better value? It has 2 layers of latex as well as the two layers of the gel matrix instead of a bunch of layers of poly foam. Also is $2500 less for a King. Thank you
Anyone heard of Lunessence brand of bed? They are sold by a company called Mattress by Appointment. The bed seems comfortable and decently priced. My concern is I can’t find any info on the brand
Hi qteezy, no not yet. I'm really curious on the aireloom as well. I know they make beautiful mattresses on the outside, I would love to take one a part.
@@sdmattressmakers yea that would be cool. I keep hearing how good the high end collections are. I think one is the “preferred “ collection. Thanks for all you do. Love the videos!
Hi qteezy, just wanted to let you know, we finally got an Aireloom, we just posted today. Here's the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_t8NYG46nIY.html
LOL markup to 9k from 1.5k? And thats one of the problems w/ Capitalism. I think a good transparency would almost fix that right up. If people saw what it cost them to make they simply wouldnt buy it....maybe? Perhaps they would lol. I think intellibed makes hospital beds too? So that could factor into the cost since hospitals are overpriced monsters as it is.
