Go in and put what is on the right stick on the left stick, and then figure out which representation equals the horizontal axis, and which one represents the vertical axis? You can then set up the controls so that the left stick does your movement and your sting just like in a first person shooter of today! And then your right will be set up to be your aiming left and right as well as up and down!! Just like the center stick on the Nintendo 64 controller.. It’s really cumbersome and not very efficient and it’ll take you a few minutes of tinkering to get it set up properly but once you do, it makes it so much more playable!!
Hate when I try to watch what seems like an unboxing, and then I hear, "I added a few games already." I'm hoping to see a real unboxing and real first impressions. Otherwise, thank you for the time you put into this very in-depth review and walk-through.
The V seems way too high maintenance needing lots of tinkering around. I went with the VS Linux version to play it out if the box without stressing about settings
Question. I ordered one of these, mostly because I am a GB/C/A fanatic. I am sure it runs all those games like a boss. Do you, or anyone else know if you can use one of these to play system link? Meaning: If I buy a second one, can you play gameboy games against a 2nd player in local 2 player?
Mmm that's a good question.. honestly I'm not sure. The unit does have WiFi but did the GB not link up via Bluetooth or something? I'm not convinced it would work. I could be wrong.
@@CrazyBurger lol. No, the gb linked up via a cable. And these have a USB port... so it made me wonder. Any chance you could test that? Seems like you have oodles of them. Haha
@@CrazyBurger oh that's okay I understand the Only PS2 or GameCube Games I play are MLB, NHL & Nickelodeon plus Family Guy not sure if those games would work (:
The controls for South Park 64 were exactly the same as the controls to goldeneye and it took me about 30 minutes, but I set up the controls in South Park 64 to play like a modern first person shooter!! It’s because in South Park 64, and possibly in goldeneye also, on the Nintendo, 64 controller, you used the C buttons to move the character, and then the analog stick to aim! This is why the movement will be on the right stick(c buttons) and the aiming will be all messed up on the left stick! Basically, all you have to do is go in and swap what is on the right stick for what is on the left stick and tinker with it a bit from there and you can get the controls perfect! I didn’t find the 64 games to run worth a crap though-
I know right. It's like, wouldn't it be cool if the speaker was in the middle? Yeah, cool idea, go build it. Build a speaker? No. Build a whole new device. Um.... Okaaaay
