ANC cadres sold mining rights to a Russian Oligarch in Northern Cape. The local community who had land rights was supposed to benefit yearly from the mining rights, but all he did was provide them with a one off food parcel.

About 13 years ago I worked as a driver for foreign ( mostly Middle East ) members of their state cabinets when they were scheduled for visits to Cape Town to meet with our government representatives at parliament in Cape Town. Mostly they had visited our madam speaker in those days, and what I found very strange and interesting is that whenever I picked these politicians up from meetings with parliament, they ( Middle East cabinet ministers) would very often ask me only one question. And that question was always the same. “ where is the Northern Cape, or they would ask where a certain area is in the Northern Cape. I would then find out from a minister of Saudi Arabia and also Jordania that our government have given most of these delegates gifts. And these gifts were pieces of land that is situated in the Karoo and in the Northern Cape!!!

This is 100% the truth and can be seen in many if not most rural areas. Many farms has been restituted but given to the traditional council and the people still have nothing. There is no such thing as Zulu land, it is historical korana land. And the Indigenous internationsl laws has nothing to do with black African people or groups in south Africa.
