X defiant is just another live service game that’s going to spam their item shop and battle passes with micro transactions nothing special about this game. How many times have we all heard “we’re going to do this and going to do that at a later date”. At least you know what you’re getting when you buy a call of duty game you know what to expect and if they exceed those expectations then great. Not to say cod doesnt doesn’t do the same microtransactions but at least the base game has substance. Not 3 unlockable camos after 200 levels.
Woah, hold up there. I hate both CoD and Xdefiant. HOWEVER you're really picking and choosing here. 1. CoD (no matter how much i hate it) does have good PvE modes like zombies (even if MW3 and Vanguard zombies are absolute trash), but most of all CoD does actually produce good CAMPAIGNS every couple games. Xdefiant currently lacks and good campaign or a general narrative given it's background. 2. We all know Ubisoft and the fact that they'll also begin pushing cosmetic micro transactions everywhere. I'd also like to point out that Xdefiant's balancing and bullet damage is very bad currently. 3. Xdefiant is NOT as big as call of duty. While it averages roughly around 480 thousand players daily of recent, CoD as of 12 months ago averages 5-10 millions user daily between ALL CoD platforms. Meaning that even if we double the Daily Xdefiant count because of console, CoD still does beat out Xdefiant in popularity still.
The glazing is real with this one. Both games have a real cheater problem (xdefiant cheaters on the rise) i will admit the first month i really did enjoy the game but it has the same issue as every free shooter on the market. And im just tired of having to compete with lines of code
I don't agree with this opinion, which is fine, and I'm not saying that your opinion is invalid, though I have a few reasons as to why I personally think that XDEFIANT is most possibly not better than cod. THE REASONS FOR MY OPINION: 1. Free game It's a free game and... well... free games are bound to have a lot of cheaters... If the game costs an abondance of money, people are less likely to risk their money. 2. Ubisoft Ubisoft connect. That's literally what I have to say about this 2nd reason. 3. Server sided issues including the communication between server and client I don't know... I've had too many issues with the game so far... If it's lag or just blatant non-working hit-registration... I don't even want to talk about the friend system and matchmaking system... I'm not talking about SBMM, but instead just sitting there waiting for 30 minutes to find a match if I queue alone... If I play with friends it's fine but they aren't always available when I want to play games. 4. Janky movement Movement feels clunky... I expected it to have more of a BO2 movement just with sliding but... It's way off and especially the mid-air acceleration is just horrendous. DISCLAIMER: I know that the game is very new and stuff, but it leaves a bad mark in my opinion. Also I am very aware of the fact that COD has been on a decline lately... ESPECIALLY WITH THE MATCHMAKING SYSTEM OH MY GOD... But COD overall is more polished and stuff and just feels smoother... Especially the old titles. Edit: Sorry if this text look AI generated... @@noah_smw nah this is an awesome response and I love the layout of it. I do agree with the fact that it is Ubisoft and I don't know if I mentioned it in this vid or another but I talked about how it's Ubisoft so they could easily fumble this game. This game Definitely needs some help for sure.
@@NiohEntei but something everyone will agree with is that battlepasses HAVE TO GO. its so milked it's lost all its meaning... not to mention that its even a stolen idea from someone who made one of the most beloved shooters in 2017 and killed it on their own behalf because of milking the franchise... And also due to bad decisions
@@noah_smw yeah the monetization is so bad I talked about that exact thing in my vid over video games declining. It's infecting gaming and making devs lazy and non creative with monetization
