Am I the only one who sees this relationship with Aidan as regression for Carrie? I thought her move back into her old apartment was a step backwards and now this new romance with Aidan, while having its sweet moments, is another backwards step for her. He wasn't the one back then and I don't believe he is the one now. I did love watching and have found season 2 to be much better than season 1 but this Carrie Adian thing is drepressing as hell.

I totally agree. As far as I can see, Big and Aidan had one Trainwreck in common: Carrie! The fact that Che asks "why didn't you work out before" should be a huge red flag!

I 100% agree. He was never the one. This is absolutely regressive behavior. At the same time, their collective trauma from divorce and death is another form of connection and bonding, on top of their prior history. All that being said, I hope this isn’t the climax of this season.

I haven’t watched the episode, but hearing that Carrie said she made a Big mistake, is very disturbing… not that I was a fan of Big, but to be so dismissive…

I am disappointed in Carrie as Big was never a mistake, which is why their relationship worked so well. I loooved Big and I loved Big and Carrie’s relationship. She should have had way more respect and loyalty to his memory as her husband. Aiden is good for Carrie and changes the dynamics again. They have both changed and grown over time and the relationship will possibly work this time as Big is not in the picture anymore. This is the new Aiden and Carrie, it’s a new chapter for them both.

Interesting thing, I hated Che and Miranda chemistry BUT I don’t mind her being Carrie’s fellow. I feel like Che was so misrepresented due to a bad writing

It was a great episode! The Seema/Carrie conversation gave me all the feels. SJP is actually a great actress so I love when she gets to so real dramatic scenes. The body language between them made it feel so real!

Carrie barely grieved over Big & now she’s saying he was a mistake!? Aidan has a whole other life that Carrie hated (farm, kids, ex wife etc) & now she wants all that. 🤔

I really liked this episode for all the characters. It did hurt to hear Carrie refer to Big as a mistake 😢. Miranda hopefully will get back to her real self that’s she’s lost her confidence. Let me tell you! The self image is real that Charlotte went through. As you age into past 45, the struggle is real. Lol😂 I feel Charlotte lol😂😂

I have always think that Carrie is a woman that is always lost, that don’t have a connection to reality or real issues. She is always looking for the “big” thing, probably because she doesn’t seems to feel like she is enough just by herself and with what she is on inside. It appears that for Carrie money, status, and luxury is the “big” thing that she was running for… not so much the man/ person or how he treated her, but what he represent to her and others. And that is the exact reason why Aidan was never enough for her, and even makes her feel embarrassed at times, even when he always was a much better person than her, or John, any day of the week.

Do y’all think Samantha will show up for Carries / Aidan’s wedding? He always wanted to marry her, and I feel like she's gonna do anything to be with him at this point. She might even propose to him 🤷🏼‍♀️ There can be a scene in this storyline where Carrie will write a letter or an email to Samantha apologizing for being distant or something and inviting her to the wedding
